I had to step out of my office which is 2 blocks from the WH during that argument to go fetch these photos. I asked 2 of the security agents in front of the WH whether Nigerians/Biafrans had been protesting and their answers were NO

Well, I had to take these photos to prove that the picture posted as White House is not the White House. I could not load them until I was unbanned this evening

Oh just shut it. They are at liberty to protest. People protest in front of the White House everyday, for different reasons. America is not the zoo that you live in.



That said, I'm right that this photo is not from the WH, as there are no permanent raised structures (like the ones obvious from OP's photo) in the open space in front of the White House lawn.

The typical photo below is the White House open space. You can see there are no structures. It's open, as in open space, between the WH fence (right of photo) and Lafayette Square (left of photo), where all protests are restricted.

If anyone doubts me, I will brace the cold outside and go out now to take TODAY'S pictures just to prove them wrong

I suspect this is gas accident. Its winter season and accidents like this are frequent.

They may have been using gas fire to heat home. Leak or malfunction in the gas line can cause instant inferno...spreads much faster than a sensor can detect.

Wife jumps from storey of house, breaks leg, in critical condition but expected to survive

Husband and older kid escape unscathed.
