Apparently this is what the Imo state government is copying. Roumi was appointed the Minister for Happiness and Wellbeing in the UAE in February 2016.

Meet the Minister for Happiness and Wellbeing in the United Arab Emirate, Ohood bint Khalfan Roumi,

The government created the Ministry with the aim of promoting the UAE’s plans, programmes and policies to promote the happiness of the UAE society.

In a recent interview in Dubai, Roumi said her Ministry is not what people should laugh about as it is very important and scientific.

“This is serious business for the government. What is the purpose of government if it does not work toward the happiness of the people? It’s the duty and role of the government to create the right conditions for people to choose to be happy. Those conditions include creating an environment in which people feel empowered, and providing sound infrastructure, opportunities for a good education, jobs and healthcare, and ensuring that people feel safe and secure. We have no intention as a government to impose happiness, or mandate it, or force it. We’re just doing the right thing for our people ... so they can have a better life.”

Knowing that he wasn't one of the street sweepers, his neighbors asked him why he was sweeping and he said it is because President Buhari, his dady, was coming to their state. You are joking. I went to pick up a car i just bought from kano recently. I had my left leg on the dashboard for more than 90% of the time. The roads are second to none. Driving from Abuja to Lagos which I always do has only two good spots until Julius berger and RCC did part of lagos-ibadan. Gwagwalada to lokoja and Akure to ilesha. If you go up north u will be amazed. That said, go and check their IGRs. One senator told me recently to go and check out agriculture in 3 main states in the north when I got there i was amazed. Check out their IGRs monthly compared to the west and south. You are talking culture i'm telling you what is happening there. They are alleviating bro. And the ..ing is a process. continuous action. Like I said just sidown and watch the north. I'm from the west i know what i'm saying.

Bro, you don't need to stress yourself in explaining a simple truth to someone that is so deep with hatred. From your first comment, every reasonable person will understand. This was the same process these Northerners took in taking position gradually by helping their kinsmen into position, look at it today, they are everywhere. But come down to South, what we are good at is pull him down. We are bragging about our education, very soon we will know our worth. We are talking about the poverty rate in the North as if we are all millionier in the South. We pamper our leaders and support them because of ethnic or Religion while they keep milking us dry with nothing to show for it. Time will tell

Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has said the nation’s unity is not negotiable but must be backed by justice, equity and fairness to every section.

Fayose spoke at the weekend in Gombe, the capital, at the cultural display by different dance groups after the coronation of Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo as the Tafidan Tangale in Billiri Local Government Area of the state.

The Ekiti State governor said Nigeria deserved a leadership that believes in all parts of the country and not in some sections of it.

'Don't use sentimental empathy on the youths to express your political ambitions' comedian I Go Dye tells Atiku in open letter

The comedian on his IG page, penned down an open letter to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, who yesterday returned to PDP as he plans to contest for presidency in 2019. Atiku in a live video on Facebook, berated the APC for ignoring the youths of Nigeria. Read what I Go Dye wrote below

'Don't use sentimental empathy on the youths to express your political ambitions.
Sir, you are one of those that have immensely benefited from Nigeria since your birth in 1946.
Having worked for 20years with the Nigeria Customs where you retired at the age of 43 in 1989 as Deputy Director, your bucket list sure looks good because you were obviously employed at youth 23.
In 1999 you became governor of Adamawa and ultimately the Vice President, all of these you achieved at 53. What did you do during your time in that exalted position? When will the youths like in your time get a chance? am motivated to speak, based on your statement : A party that does not take the youths into account is a dying party.The future belong to young.Please which of the future?
Remarkably, between 1999 and 2007 that you were the Vice president of Nigeria, it is recorded that tertiary institutions witnessed several strikes that wasted seventeen months ,three weeks and three days.Within this period, what did you do?
If social support were given to youths then,their children will be between 18 and 20years during the 2019 elections,obviously they would have willingly voted for you or anyone that you endorse in 2019.This is the essence of making sacrifices for the future generation.
You cannot be credited to have been a philanthropic to the youths.
The recent revocation of the NPA contract with Intel,your company,is the major issue.
As a company either, the people in the region you operated cannot accredit Intel to have provided credible support for the youths or built skills acquisition centers to curb unproductivity as part of it's cooperate social responsibility , which has resulted to many youths embarking on the sub- sahara deserts route treking to Europe,which has claimed many lives.
Your excellency,sir Atiku Abubakar, please don't use sentimental empathy on the youths to express your political ambitions,because by 2019 the youths are preparing to substantiate the real economical,political and progressive change.
I kindly recommend that you should advocate for process that will afford us
the opportunity of a youthful leadership in the 2019 election.Thanks Amb Francis'

Last night, fuji music legend Wasiu Odetola otherwise known as Pasuma celebrated his 50th birthday party in Lagos.

Pasuma clocked 50 on November 27th and did a couple of charity events on the day before the mega turn up that shut down Lagos last night with several celebrities and dignitaries in attendance.
