Sports / Re: Inter Miami's Lionel Messi Sets Two Records, In 5-Assist Game by AdetolaTemi: 9:49am On May 08
Omo even by his high standards, Messi kept my jaw wide open with his exceptionally sensational display yesterday.
1 goal and 5 assists in a single cricket match! (6 G/A). And the assists are premium ones only Messi can do.
No wonder pendulums are crying. Levels dey to this thing.
Imagine comparing a mundane Hattrick with exceptional magic.
Sports / Re: AFCON: The final was our worst game, the home support penalised us - Peseiro by AdetolaTemi: 11:56am On Mar 01
The coach did well. His formation was the way forward and protected our defense from leaking unnecessary goals.
I give it to the Ivorian coach (like liverpool fc coach back in the day). He had to change Ivorian tactics to beat Peserio and he did.
Thank you Peserio. Now we need a local coach, a good one.

Sports / Re: Osimhen & Boniface Beat Ronaldo As World Best Strikers By SPORTbible by AdetolaTemi: 2:23pm On Feb 21
It is ratings like this that makes Osimhen feel he is on top the world. In his lifetime, he too knows he would not be able to lace CR7's shoes.
Simple AFCON, he could net only 1 goal. And when he came back, he was rude to the press and told them he was sponsored by velox exchange. Let Osimhen go and rest.
More grease to the other "Victor". The one that made his grandmother happy - Victor Boniface

Before nko Ivory won does not mean they played better football although I don't care about ranking nonsense same as in cricket but the truth is Ivory Coast played no football in this last tournament they are just lucky and their yeye superstition that mistakenly favoured them that is all.

Sports / Re: Is Sports Betting A Skill Or Luck? Best Approach To Sports Betting by AdetolaTemi: 12:16pm On Jan 04
I don't think this is something you should count on as a source of income! Also there should be high taxes on such companies, for example betting sites in Canada in 2024 will be paying x2 taxes compared to regular entertainment companies. That money can be easily used for better purposes.

Sports / Re: Ronaldo Bows Out Of Euro 2020 After Belgium Defeated Portugal by AdetolaTemi: 8:18pm On Jun 28, 2021
Such a shame... The better team lost. Belgium under-performed so terribly, like they haven't been playing together. Imagine a team with such high number of stars.
Portugal manager ought to have known better... That team needed to be changed immediately after first half. The game was literally begging for Bruno Fernandes all day long.
