(was on hibernate mode last night)I was going tru a pdf file on my Compaq presario F700, then I tried to switch to the Oda pdf file, wat I saw was a blank white with a (-----)line on d screen, move d mouse, nothing happen, den I decide to power it off using d power button, nothing happen, still on, so I decide to remove d battery n put it back, to my great surprise,
1)wen I try to turn the
computer on, the LED lights work and the fan makes
noise for like 3 seconds n stop n power off,
2)starting up itself some few seconds later, it start,blue light on, Wt fan working n stop after some seconds,
Wen I remove d battery n use d a.c. Power pack, it does d same
3) den I try to turn the
computer on, the LED lights work and the fan makes
noise, I press down esc key for 3 seconds,it remains like without booting up.
4) I try step 3 without d battery, using d a.c power supply only, it gives same report as step 3 above.
Pls help me out on wat I can do about it.

Hmm can u change the ram, because what's happening will end up to be a DISPLAY ISSUE (on board) so try remove the hard disk and make use of a good ram and power it and get back to us bro

I have done that yet same problem keeps reoccurring. my safari and opera browsers are still opening. I am just scared that if the problem persist it may affect other programs on the system. I really want to fix it before it does more damage.
I have tried to restore my system to an earlier date, but i was not successful with that.
I tried using the method attached below , but I got to a stage I couldn't proceed because I couldn't find the next step.
Please what's the way out?

Its a memory or video card issue... Can you unscrew the memory and change it with another? What's the make of your laptop

Please I have been having issues with my PC of recet.
I have done full system scan with my avast anti-virus but yet no result. i have also tried to do system restore to see if it will fix the problem but the following error code popped up after the system had restart (Error Code 0x80070005), with a message that the system did not restore completely.
The major problem is that my browsers(firefox, internet explorer and chrome) are no longer opening at all. I have uninstalled and reinstall, yet I am still having the same problem. Please checked the attachment for the messages when I try to open them.

It will be better you backup your data and do a clean installation.... Can you do that?

hello house, i have been able to unlock my Lenovo thinkpad t420 supervisor password and after unlocking it i can now gain entrance into the bios setup, but the laptop can not boot to windows/os it shows that the hard disk is locked, whenever i insert my hard disk i get the lock icon,
please how do i unlock a SATA HARD DISK of 250GB SO THAT THE LAPTOP CAN BOOT TO WINDOWS

plz guys, i posted a problem my computer had and no one even cared to offer a solution...
my laptop (toshiba) started misbehaving and not being responsive and when i force shut down it and rebooted it, it tales like forever to display the 'toshiba leading innovation>>> logo' and then it brongs a message that my computer has ran into an error and needs to restart... and it continuied in a cycle..
but today to my suprise, i turned it on and it loaded to the part where i input my password (after long time though) and after inputing the password( though already finished typing the password before a character was displayed, just to emphasize its non responsiveness) it started after battling with the enter key.
now finally it loaded the desktop amd the mouse was moving freely...but when i rigjt clicked on the desktop to refresh, omo na war oo... had to wait for like 30mins for it to bring the options and then i refreshed, this one took just like 3mins though... i then tried to open a folder, omo i ate, and sleep before this one even open... plz what is wrong with my laptop??

I need solution to this problem.
I purchased an etisalat modem and installed it into my laptop, I was able to browse at that initial time.
I disconnected it only for me to be unable to reconnect. The connect button wasn't functioning and it said no signal.
I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing happened. It'd connect the first time after installation but on disconnecting and ejecting the modem, nothing happens afterwards.
I've resorted to uninstalling and reinstalling any time I wish to browse, long process if you ask me.
Obviously the problem ain't from the modem cos I installed it into another laptop and it's working perfectly fine.
Anyone with ideas on how to go about it, I'm worried sick.

My hp 630 cooling fan is bad and no engineer close to fix it, wat do i do pls.
And recently d system will boot on and off continously i dnt knw wat is d problem

The best advice now is DON'T ON THAT LAPTOP AGAIN UNTIL IT FIXED if care is not taken the HARD DRIVE will be DEAD!!!

Sir, it's not really slow like that but whenever I'm operating a program say Microsoft Word, when I'm typing. suddenly the letters I press won't respond until I place cursor on MS word and re-click again, that when it will continue responding. This will like that till I finish typing. And that's how everything is on my system...

Good evening guys, I really like the work you re doing in here. Plz help me with my system. I first noticed sometimes ago that while using it, the screen will suddenly turns blue, switch off and restart itself. Later it graduated to making noise, later to restarting at intervals. Before going for service, the battery was okay, after 3 weeks that I return, the battery doesn't work again. The keypads ain't pressing again. Pllz what can I do?

Hi peeps, please I've been having this issue with my browsers(Operamini and Firefox) a long while. Whenever I'm browsing, new tabs will be automatically opened. I mean, new tabs to new sites entirely... like Nairabet et al... it may even open another New window. I've blocked the pop-ups and everything that may be causing that, still... they never stop appearing. What's the solution please? Thanks.
