Yeah? Abeg FSB, where is it written that a government must notify the whole public(the gbebos and critics) before they close down a place? Even if it is about tax alone, I support Fashola 101%. If the hard way is the only way, then so be it. Na all of us go enjoy am. Nothing stops anyone from paying tax. When LASTMA started arresting people for not using seat belt, there was so much noise; what matters is the end result. It does not matter if you wear seat belt because you like it or for fear of LASTMA, at least you are wearing it. So shall it be for tax too.

Carry go BRF! We want sanity!!!
Christianity EtcRe: Obedience and church work! by Adexy001(f): 1:05pm On Nov 21, 2008
I think we should all learn to differentiate between Mr. A and Pastor A which means that in as much as he is a Pastor, he is also a human and that part of him cannot be hidden.

I have been in this kind of thing before although not entirely the same sha. While i was in school, it was all about Pastor and fellowship. I even had to skip lectures all in the name of working for God (nothing my friends and parents said made sense; my parents even threatened to disown me but i did not listen) until one day when we had an all Fellowship leader's meeting and the Main Pastor asked all leaders whose Grade Points were below a particular mark to stand up. He was very upset because almost everyone got up. He said something i will never forget, u are first in school to read; if you excel, people would want to hear you speak. If you dont do well whether in your studies or in life, you will only be regarded as a mediocre so what kind of gospel are you preaching? Need i say that many of us went back and omo, our books became a priority.

I understand that we all want to work for God but we must understand that there is a time for everything and we should do all willingly and not grudgingly.

Now is the time to determine what you want to do. Like Sholeyb said, dont find yourself gossiping about your pastor. I am sure that you have the mind of God and whatever decision you take would be spirit led. If you need to change your parish, then do but your education and happiness is top right now. Dont forget that.

God is not a mediocre!!!

Damola abi wetin you call yourself? Abeg go back to school and stop displaying your ignorance. As Kumbalo said in his post, The place was not only shut down for tax issues, it was also for environmental issues, this i am sure is so true cos u and I know how that place is. Even houses are locked cos of environmental issues now and for your information, they would have been duly notified and also given deadlines which they would have ignored.

Why would we all be stressing ourselves trying to convince you sef, u no dey pay tax(as u be student), u no dey watch tv or listen to radio, so what do u do? Just display your good use of English(not brains) on nairaland. I wonder what kind of leader you will grow to be.  Baba Adeboye spoke on tax, Oba Akiolu spoke on tax, even on radio sef enuf jingles, ki lo tun fe ki won se?

Those of us that pay our tax would keep supporting BRF cos we can see he is using our money well.
