PPR arrived today for MIL.

Submitted: 15th October ,2023
Biometric: 30th October, updated on the 1st November.
PPR: 18th February,2024

After my MP got involved last week. No travel history.
Submitted Documents from her: Passport

Submitted document from me:
Invitation letter, financial support letter, balance of Canadian bank account (wifey and I), PR cards, marriage certificate and wife’s birth certificate.

Please, what’s the process of submitting passport?

PPR: Feb 16, 2024

It was a longer wait than expected but we’re grateful. God is gracious and kind😊

Yes they both have UAE residence permit and hubby has traveled to south africa, malaysia, maldives and georgia but hasn’t traveled to uk or Usa before

Meanwhile i applied for both my husband and our daughter, but only got ppr for my husband this morning , waiting for our child’s own. Thanks to emmafe and every other person on this thread 🙏

I submitted visit visa with following timeline:
Submission: 28th Sept 2023
Biometric: 3rd Oct 2023
Biometric Updated on application: 10th Oct 2023.

I later submitted SOWP with following timeline:
Upfront Medicals: 14th December 2023
Submission: 24th Dec 2023
Biometric on application still showed: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometric Updated on application: 27th Dec and showed completed in tracker

Medicals was updated passed Jan 3rd 2024 on visit application and completed on tracker but no update on SOWP application and tracker.

Application of visit visa was approved on 7th January 2024 and Passport request in 30 days, however nothing on SOWP.

Should I wait for result of SOWP before I submit passport (i.e. is there is possibility of outcome before 30 days) or make the submission right away? Thank you for your expert suggestions.

Timelines are to encourage all of us in the waiting list (I am always encourage seeing applications approved).

It would. You have to pay one year tuition for private schools. Why go to private when hundreds of public schools are as cheap as €250 Per semester? Is your date close and you need an admission asap?

PPR landed this morning.
Application was submitted mid November after coming here to request a means of payment for my application because the naira Ms card was declined, unlike when used some years back and someone suggested a fintech to me. I sincerely appreciate.

Documents submitted:

1-Invitation letter of the programme I will be attending

2- bank statement
3-travel history to Switzerland, Germany( expired German multiple schengen visas), UK, France,Turkey,Holland,Canada, Hungary,UAE and United States( both expired and valid USA visas with the current one having 5 years validity)
4-Introduction letter from my company
5-A trip sponsorship letter from my company,
6-Company CAC
7-Manufactuters' Authorisation Letters issued by our manufacturers in Europe and USA.
8- Copies of certificates of attendance received from past trainings and conferences attended.
9-IMM Application forms.
That's all...

This 10000% scam ..company: International Airline maybe airport in a canal in yaba but surely not canada .
l still do not understand .how people falll for this cheap scam without proper research a company in canada will refund you. Peoople in canada still dey hustle job na u from nigeria via one quack agent them go give airport job..very poorly structured scam!!

Please can one submit a new passport different from the one you applied it.
I applied with a passport with 4 years validity and got PPR.
Before i submit passport for visa stamping, i will like to quickly go do another new passport that will be 10years.
When I submit this new 10years passport Will the visa carry this 10years validity or not?

Although the new processing time line for VV is 121 days but the last approval took 5 months,so let's prepare our mind towards that to prevent unnecessary worries.

Goodmornig everyone. I am a visitor applicant to Canada. By my calculations now(weekends excluded), it been 3months since my application,and yet to get a decision. Though I used an agent,but we have been communicating and very accessible,no doubts about him. The conference I am to attend is over,what are my chances? Why the delay? Is it due to many applicants? Also heard many are currently being denied,as it has affected some we applied together. Why the reason for denier lately?
I will appreciate your kind response.

Abeg if you just apply canada tourist visa recently after August 2023 with no family in canada or planned just as tourist or planning to applied with no travel history .Abeg no pay agent yet and no sell ur property as canada visa refusal is back now...l see 5 refuse last week alone first time in 2023 meaning era of canada visa easy issurance don end ..pls be wise with ur money and plan o..Massive asylum people on vv don cast things!
