iGod: Please those of us that were attended to today, please try your possible best to tell the house all that's needed to know, don't just post pictures et al.
Please highlights the step by step screening/documentation procedures, it'll go a long way to help us know what is being expected of us.
Lastly, please no one should undermines anyone here just because its your time today, the country is hard, majority of us are trying to survive, people do a lot of things to survive in this country, if the country was so good and just, nobody would have to pay for employment, and even more a Government job. Let's understand that we are humans with emotions, when commenting or replying always know that. No matter how smart, hard-working, intelligent, and well connected we think we are, nobody really knows what the tomorrow holds.
Let's respect each other.
Thank you all, and congratulations! You are one of the few intelligent, vast and mature guys here. |

Larry456: Bro pick the NIS job, even if you're not on scholarship, pick the job.
ASI issa commission officer, chances to become oga at the top is there.
You can earn money and decide to sponsor your education anywhere in the world depend on your prorities.
Abroad is good yea, what are the good things there that you can't go and enjoy if you go on vacations?
Being an NIS officer in your home country will make you live comfortably to some extent, no more harassment from police and the likes, you can't start dragging palliatives with hoodlums or live in slums.
And abroad, how loud is your voice if one racist police pin your head to the ground for looking black, who go hear you scream "I can't breath" and save you?
And if you feel/think no future in this country, use the job to fuel yourself and get a 2nd citizen for your kids.
For me I'll rather be a big fish in a small river, than a small fish in an ocean. My little input. Cheers!!! Great! What a nice write-up, but come to think of it, how much is this anticipated NIS pay sef that one would be comfortable with, especially in country where the currency is on constant devaluation. We are talking about maximum 150k as salary for B.sc. You guys have nice opinions shaa, but left for me, na the scholarship ooh. |

RivuletStream: I don't know about paramilitary but in the civil service, bachelor of engineering degree begin career on level 09. My coursemate who got a job in a govt agency in 2018 was given level 09. He has bachelor degree in engineering. As at the time he got the job he was NOT registered with COREN You are very correct bro. In civil service, a for year course is level 8, while an engineering graduate is level 9. An engineering graduate with COREN is level 10. |

Ayomititunde: This validates what I heard then . With B.eng, you must have COREN, b4 u will be considered for 2 star. You may not know if he had a COREN. COREN- Council for the regulation of engineering in Nigeria NOTE: Being a member of NSE (Nigeria Society of Engineers) is not enough to earn you such position as, NSE is not a professional certification, but a membership. The certification is COREN. Thanks |

SuppoOmoo: Once again, I congratulate all to-be Officers and Men on this forum. Abeg don't mind me, I know I too dey write long epistle
We all know within our church minds that the primary motive of getting a job is to earn money. I guess I am correct? Every other one na secondary. So no go do wetin go make your salary hang when your colleagues dey use money do Thanksgiving
Whether you have doctored or even engineered your age, pls ensure that the exact age on your BVN is what you tell the IPPIS staff that will capture your data even if the age you are presenting to the Service that will be in your file is entirely different. The reason is that your salary go hang. Not only that, you go get issue with your RSA - Retirement Savings Account. Your contributions no go dey drop to that account until the age mismatch is corrected.
Did I confuse someone here? Lemme break it down...
Senario 1: If your age in your Service Record (in your file) is the same with bvn age and that of ippis age. No issues. This is the perfect one.
Senario 2: Age in your bvn is the same with IPPIS age but different from the age in your service record (in your file). No issues. Your salary and your Pension contributions go dey enter. The implications of this is that. For your mind, you go dey consider the age in your file whereas the system dey consider the one with IPPIS. The day you clock the one with IPPIS, your salary ceases to drop. You are retired.
Senario 3: Age in your Service record is the same with IPPIS age but different from bvn age. Issues go dey. Age Mismatch. Salary go hang, Pension Contributions go hand until it is corrected.
Your RSA number/pin will be issued to you by your Pension Fund Administrator (Pension Managers). There are about 20+ of them and you ll choose anyone you like to help you manage your retirement contributions. Representatives of each PFA will be on ground trying to draw you to their side. Registeration is free. Those who already have RSA pin before expecially those who had pensionable jobs before NIS job do not need to get another one again. You continue using the one you have. Your contributions from your new job will add to whatever you already have in your Account.
If truely your APL will be issued to you in this phase of the recruitment exercise and the department has informed IPPIS staff to be on ground for your enrollment. Then, you ll definitely need RSA. It is part of what the IPPIS staff will ask from you.
Lastly, no go do any mistake in your bank details during IPPIS enrollment ooo. Try cross check every single information of yours as the person is typing it on the system. Of course you ll face the computer screen and see all your information like that of NIN Enrollment Exercise.
Ippis go teach you that O is different from 0. This is a good long epistle. Very educating and concise. Pls, I applied when I was 35, now I'm 36. But I claimed that I'm 30(during application) that is, 1990. I got my FSLC in 1996. My question here is this: 1. If I decide to use 1990 as my year of birth, with my FSLC obtained in 1996, would there be an issue during documentation? 2. If I decide to use 1985, as my real date(year of birth), with FSLC actually obtained in 1996, that is, I'm 36 years, but 35 when I applied, would they say I have gone beyond the age limit? |

Openpeace: Just carry all your original certificates compulsory, if you know get any I don't know if they accept affidavit ooo.
Try confirm all your documents dates and age coresponds.
For example. You go present birth certificate of 1995 and your FSLC na 2000, baba na there dem knack my bros sharply for DSS then i no dey forget that thing. Bros, I no understand oh, cos I know someone genuinely spent 4 years in primary school, 4 years in secondary school and graduated at 18years. So what would you have to say about this? Education these days has metamorphosed |

Incris: So it seems, but the originals of your certificates would still be checked again hence the screening.. you can't be documented if you haven't been employed by the organisation. You are invited for documentation means you have gotten the job. I thank God for everyone of us here. Pls, what about those that did theirs, underground? How would it go? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigeria Immigration Service 2020 Recruitment by Adez1: 8:21am On Aug 07, 2021 |
meetgaya: Bros if you don't understand, ask questions. You must get your app before documentation. How can someone is not employed do documentation? Ywhen get app , a form will be given to you where you enter your details, like your full names, age, where you came from place of residence, institutions you attended, your experience if any, etc then you file it with supporting documents including photo copy of your apl and your passport photograph. Later on they will upload your documents in to the system for future easy access. Exactly, bros. Thanks. I was wondering when he said it. |
