Neuroplasticity: Big Oyinbo word. That is why my words are sometimes very painful to many people. Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Neuroplasticity allows the neurons (nerve cells) in the brain to adjust their activities in response to new situations or to changes in their environment. But it can be a painful process. That is why when you have been in Nigeria all your life you seems not to understand some of your relatives that went overseas for 30 years. Their brain have been rewired. Neuroplasticity. It wasn't witchcraft. Sometimes, I think although, many Africans don't understand Neuroplasticity, they can feel the effect so they resist it. There is strong resistance to learning in Africa. This is not African bashing. It is based on experience. Luckily, many of us still want to learn. People will say, that is not how our forefathers did it. As if their forefathers didn't have to learn it. By the way, if our forefathers were so wise how come we are so backward? I always wonder, why get a mobile phone, our forefathers communicated with smoke signals and drums. Anyway, many intelligent Nigerians who have travelled to Oyinbo land and stayed for years often think different and start to wonder why those back home cannot change in 24 hours. Well that is Neuroplastic. Your brain has changed structurally, and that of your relative is still the same. So now you cannot understand each other. Before someone can change their brain, they must make the adjustment and that requires time. Lots of time. This type of change is not just that people think different. It is like changing the record album on the record player. You cannot play the old songs again. This is when the relative starts to blame the wife. She did it. Let's go to the native doctor to do something. Well that is futile because it is Neuroplasticity. You can imagine that the brain of a 10 years old has more Neuroplasticity than that of a 40 years old. The adults can learn fast only from pain and suffering. So sometimes, the only way to show people the way is to confront them with the hard truth. They call it the school of hard knocks. That is what I do. It is not hate speech. I am sure 10 years from now, many Africans will be thinking very differently. 10 years from now I will be their hero for telling them what I am telling them now. I just have to do it for another 9 years then it will be fine because I understand Neuroplasticity. Have a happy sunday. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=379498332556281&id=158338594672257

Someone sent me a long message from a big pastor in Nigeria. You know, one of these chain messages. People think I am a heathen because I tell the truth the way I see it. It is funny, that people that try to tell the truth in Nigeria are either against Jesus or are political enemies. I have studied the life of Jesus and I have lived my entire life based on the principles he preached. I think if many people should live like that earth would be a better place for all. I have worked for the poor all my life and spent most of my earnings in life taking care of the poor to make their lives better. (Love thy neighbor as thyself) I am even married to one wife and never was unfaithful. Even the pastors are now competing with Harvey Weinstein in their unfaithfulness and yet I am the heathen. I don't understand. But they would say God forgive all sins. Yes, sure, I better be a murderer then. If Africans messed up there own house here on earth why should God give them bigger things to take care of? Try that at your workplace. I thought heaven was reward for those that are doing God's will now on earth. How come most people who want to go to heaven are those that have destroyed the earth? Those that don't take care of their neighbors. Those that are corrupt and those who were never faithful to their partners. Any reasonable person would know if God comes to Nigeria today he will not be up to one million people to take to heaven. So, what is this nonsense about going to heaven. Are people really that delusional to imagine that an intelligent been would suddenly get an amnesia and don't remember who did his will in the first place to be rewarded? Look at Africa, see how it is messed up. dirt everywhere. literally shit on every corner of the road. Even the bible said cleanliness is next to godliness. How much does it cost to clean around your house? How can christians be so dirty. Haba. What is going on here and yet I am the heathen? As for me, I have made up my mind. If God decided that all these people that are destroying the earth and make live unbearable for other, who were no good are going to be with him in heaven then please don't invite me to that heaven. He can keep it for himself. I don't want to be with that God. I have had enough trouble here. I don't want to start another Facebook campaign. After my life here on earth I would like to rest and take a long distance from these evil men and women parading themselves as God's children. Please don't get us together somewhere. I will be very angry. But they say the end is near. They might be right. The end might be near but me I am not going anywhere with these people. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=379023182603796&id=158338594672257

What are the similarity between an Irish country road and the Nigerian Government? 1. First, they are both very narrow. The Irish country roads are very narrow. The Nigeria government is very narrow thinking. 2. Secondly, Both sides of Irish country roads are covered with heavy soil and stones upon which heavy grass and shrubs have grown out after many years. If you are a new traveller it can be very frustrating because you cannot see much when travelling on those roads. The roads also meanders a lot. So, you only see few meters in front of you. You often believe you're almost where you are going after the next meander. No, you are wrong, Then the next one, no, wrong again. Children hate it when sitting on the back seat of the car because their perspective is even worse back there. You will hear them a thousand times ask, are we there yet? only to be told the same thing again. We are almost there. 3. In Nigeria you have the same thing. Government is covered in secrecy that nobody knows what is going on. This is done on purpose. To keep people busy they will come up with some projects, some public inquiry when things goes wrong, some committee to find out stuff. etc. Then you will think, ok we are getting somewhere. Then another committee and yet another. But we are still not there. Just like the Irish roads, It is all done on purpose. The Irish roads were done that way to keep the heavy winds away from the homes in the countryside. The other reason is, It slows people down seriously from driving fast in the countryside. 4. The Nigeria politicians know we are not getting anywhere but they just want to keep the people busy enough to think they are going somewhere. Meanwhile, the goal is to put enough obstacle on the road to slow people down from making any progress. By the time you realise what is going on you are too old to do something about it. Then you think who cares? I will be in heaven soon anyway with the Lord. Then your children will continue the same journey on the same road with high hopes. We must destroy these shrubs and high walls blocking our views on these roads soon to start moving forward. . https://m.facebook.com/AromsAigbehi/photos/a.160241647815285.1073741828.158338594672257/376192426220205/?type=3

In Nevada, USA, there is an airplane graveyard. They have thousands of planes there. Boeing 747, Airbus, military planes and even helicopters. All these planes were flown there, so they are not bad, these planes are retired. You see, The world community will retired a commercial plane that is over 25 years old from operation and it will do a last flight to Nevada to go and rest. The place is huge, you have to see it one day. The US army have retired most of their cold war planes there. Some of them never flew once. Once in a while, I will see one of these cold war planes on TV in Africa that their government have bought some new fighter planes for few hundred millions dollars and they will commision them. Once in a while, An African will come there because his country sent him to go an buy some planes. But that is the wrong place to be. Boeing headquarters is in 100 North Riverside Plaza, Chicago. Airbus is in France and Lockhead is not there either. But the African knows what he is doing. He is there to get some old planes for his country for the price of new. I use to think Africa was poor because they didn't have money. That was when I was a very young man. I was wrong. I found out later in my life that money is not the problem of Africa. In fact, I have never been able to get anyone out of poverty in Africa. No Matter how hard I tried, they always managed to fall back into it. The church call it generational curse. Na lie. I will explain it one day to you. It is only Africans I know that will deliberately negotiate deals that will be in disadvantage to their people. I see this happen in bilateral agreements, I see this in big business, small business and even just mini small business. If white people want to cheat black people they will look for other black people to help them. Try that with a Jew and see what happen. Africans make sure they get the wrong side of the deal. They do that on purpose. How stupid can one be to be holding the short end of the stick all the time. It is this kind of things that make Africa poor. This is why black people don't get respect. Respect you earn. People that will deliberately put their own people last in favour of other people for their personal gain can never be respected. As I am writing now, it is still happening. It is only getting worse. Anywhere you see a black country, this type of things happen. Until Africans know they have to build their nations and not just destroy it they will never know peace. Enjoyment can never come him way. --- Fela Kuti All Africans must realise that they must change as individuals. You can't go to China to buy fake goods and come back to blame Buhari for not fighting corruption. The menace in Africa was created by all and for all. Shit don't just happen, It requires effort. (pardon my french) -- Samuel L. Jackson. Being in perpetual denier will only increase the duration and the intensity of the pain. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=375129446326503&id=158338594672257

Talking about riding the bull at the Rodeo. I have been doing business in Europe and America for over 25 years. I have never been targeted for assassination. Not by a business rival and not even talking about government people. I still can travel freely to over 180 countries of the world, except my own country Nigeria. Why, because I went to do business there to change lives. I have be shot at several times, almost got kidnapped. jailed by the police, Lost money to crooks, flew on a plane that crashed a week later due to poor maintenance and many more. My spouse was locked indoor for an entire year because she couldn't go out without being kidnapped. I don't know where in Europe or America you lock Foreigners indoor for an entire year. Investors are people. they have spouses and children. I have never come across someone doing business in Nigeria that is having fun doing it. So if you have that great experience or know who does I really want to talk with you. We all could learn some lessons from you. One of the reasons Europeans are more successful than us is they look at the problem and do a through analyse then port solutions to tackle the problems. Africans like to whitewash the problem and hide it in public. But the public already know what the problem is, so why not face it and deal with it. I can tell you all beautiful stories of how great it is to do business in Nigeria and I would be lying. I like to be real. If you love to ride a bull, thank God Nigeria is available to do business. It is not for everyone out there.
|
In America there is sport or is it a game. Anyway, It looks crazy when you see it. Someone will jump on top of an angry bull and another one will press the timer to see how far the person can ride the bull before the rider gets knocked out of the bull ride. It is called Rodeo. The Americans loved it. Normally, I tried to stay away from it as far as possible because the bulls don't like it and they like to make it known to the rider. Any rodeo rider will show you broken bones and bruises they have suffered from the bulls. Riding a horse is much different. It is less stressful and can be enjoyable to some people, it doesn't require that much effort to do as a Rodeo. But you still have to practice and learn to understand a horse if you want to develop further in horseback riding. I have done business in 7 countries. Doing business in Nigeria is like a Rodeo, Even when you win you will end up with lots of bruises and broken bones.Too many people wake up everyday thinking what can they do today to make the life of others miserable. You need to understand how to deal with them. The skill set you need in Nigeria is much different than you would need in Germany to run a business there. In Nigeria you need to develop your street thug mind sharply if you want to survive. The Nigerian society is built on fraud. Anybody going to do business in Nigeria must understand that it is a fraudulent society. Just like Rodeo, some people can genuinely NOT take it and others love it. Chances are, any very successfully business in Nigeria have our missing oil money inside. Period. Corruption money is often laundered through the so called successful businesses in Nigeria. How else do you explain a chicken farm where the owner is a billionaire and you never come across his chicken in the market? If you just want to work hard for your money then chances are you will fail miserably. I know. If I wanted to help laundered money through my farm then I would have been a big friend to the governors in Nigeria and be very rich Nigerian style by now. It is a Rodeo. If you know you don't want to ride a Rodeo then stay away from the Rodeo. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=374117889760992&id=158338594672257

Who Is The heathen Here? Lots of Africans say to me they are serving God and I am a heathen. The reality is I have only met few Africans in my life serving God. Most people are serving themselves not God. So what is service? If you wake up in the morning and go to work, or go about your business to make money. Busy with your family and working to survive, then you come back home, eat and watch some TV. Then the next day wake up and go to do the same again. Then know you are NOT serving God but yourself. There is nothing wrong with that. but don't say you are serving God. That is not the way to serve God. You are just doing lots of work for yourself. Which part of the above daily routine was servicing God? What Africans do in church on sunday is not service but Entertainment. It is for stress relieve. That is not for God, but again for themselves. Service is the action of helping or doing work for someone? Jesus said, take care of the fatherless. Take care of the widows, Take care of the orphans. Take care of the hungry, clothe the poor and provide shelter to the homeless. Majority of African Christians don't do this and yet they say they are serving God. If Africans were serving God there wouldn't be this much poverty in Africa. The poverty of Africans is actually an embarrassment and insult to God. If Africans cannot get themselves out of poverty and they say they are serving God, What does that say about their God? I was surprised when I first left Nigeria to see how many Europeans and Americans took care of strangers they didn't know. I have records of people that played very great roles in my life. Without them my life should have taken a different turn. In Nigeria we cannot even trust families with anything anymore. If you don't believe me then send few thousand dollars to your Christian family members to do some work for you. I left Nigeria very young and I was quickly overwhelmed. A family once took me in for months when I was completely broke and no money. Few good people believed in me that they were ready to do what it took to help me. These people didn't even say they were doing God's work. They were just good people. But many Africans would call them heathens. Actually, they were the ones doing God's work. God's work requires doing things for others and not for yourself. Jesus said and I paraphrase. As long as you do this things to the little ones you have done them for me. The day Africans will really start serving God then their situation will start to change. For now, what is going on is worse than being a heathen. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=373422693163845&id=158338594672257

Why Does A Bucket Of Water Gets Heavier? It is easy to carry a 10 liters bucket of water for 20 meters. Right? Now carry the same bucket of water for 1 kilometer. The bucket starts getting heavier and heavier as you go along. Did the bucket really got heavier or you got weaker? Why did you get weaker? Because you didn't prepare hard enough for the exercise. If you think your life is not going well. The fact is, it is your fault. You have to take responsibility for it. This is very hard talk coming from me because I have gone through hard times myself. Most of the bad things that happened to me were my fault. For one thing, I was not prepared enough for some things I did. Sometimes, I didn't have the knowledge. Or I didn't listen to sound advice or ignore lesson learned from past experience. Later on the bucket got too heavy and I had difficulty to carry it. I took responsibility for it and did my post-mortem examination and fix the problem and moved on. I know it wasn't witches, spirit or any other thing. Most of the time, the cure was to go back to the drawing board. If you are over 30 years old, chances are, you are not prepared enough to carry your life bucket of water. You will stay poorer as you get older. The reason is you are not prepared for wealth. Pray all you want. I can guarantee it. But however, you still have a chance. “Opportunity comes to the prepared mind.” — Charlie Munger If you are under 30 then you need to listen carefully. The day you were born you started dying already, whether you like it or not. The question is, how soon would you die. God doesn't make the exception for you or me. It is nature and the cycle of life. The question is what do you want to do before you die. What is the point of being alive, if you don’t at least try to do something remarkable? – John Green If you feel your life is not going towards the right direction there are two things you must do today. 1) Change your friends. There is a saying: Show Me Your Friends and I Will Show You Your Future. You are either a person under the yoke of bad friends or you are a bad friend. How do you know this? If your life is not going like you want and you feel you cannot change your friends then it is possible you might be the bad friend that is stopping the others from moving ahead in life, It could be you that needs changing for the rest to move forward. 2) Start taking massive actions. There is nothing like massive action. Anything in the universe will break if you put massive action to it. Unfortunately, most of our people don't understand this concept. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=372469639925817&id=158338594672257

One of my readers felt very sorry for me and sent me a link to an article to prove that I will be spiritually attacked when I keep doing what I was doing. Curious, I went to read the article. These are the points I found that should let you know when you are being spiritual attacked. My comments are in Parenthesis. 1) Stretch marks (Lots of women have this. All black women are in trouble. It comes when your skin suddenly grow too fast as result of weight gain like during pregnancy.) 2) Hatred towards your spouse. (hormone imbalance or just aggression) 3) Hatred towards opposite Sex (Probably regressed, unsorted negative feeling towards the opposite sex. The person needs a Psychology.) 4) Constant destruction of things. (Aggression, or hormone imbalance, try PreMenstrual Syndrome (PMS).) 5) Spiritual Sexual Molestation (This is Hocus Pocus) 6) Experiencing Lost Of Items. (Try Alzheimer's or dementia.) 7) Constant Miscarriages/Barrenness. ( Chromosomal Abnormalities, Uterine and/or Cervix Abnormalities, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)) Sudden Death of A Spouse(Try heart attack, stroke or internal bleeding.) 9) Failed Business/Financial problem. (What about poor business management, economy or bad luck) 10) Breast Feeding In The Dream. ( Hmm, most of the women do this) 11) Serial Broken Relationships (Poor understanding of what relationship is, lack of attention to your spouse. What about cheating?) 12) Going For Shopping With An Opposite Sex In The Dream. (This is that serious that I don't have any comment.) 13) Seeing Yourself Pregnant In The Dream. 14) Getting Married In The Dream. (Please realise your Dog have dreams too. By the way, ALL animals have dreams. Dreams are not special to humans.) 15) Late Marriage (Well. All I could say is thank God I got married early.) How could people that are fed these crap ever develop? Everything mentioned above are not only normal, but have natural causes. By telling people these stories, they are just being exploited and held hostage in religion and will never progress in life. By the way. The picture is not real. they don't exist either. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=371856683320446&id=158338594672257

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them. Albert Einstein I am pleased that many intelligent and well thinking individuals have come out to follow me. I would like to appreciate all those that take the time to read my post daily and take the effort to understand. I am also glad to see many people reading the posts and fight me especially, when I talk about religion and pastors. Some people even call me an atheist because I don't agree with their version of christianity. At least they are reading. People sometimes struggle to understand what I am writing and come out with innovative thinking because they use "Analogy Thinking". This form of thinking is based on assumption. Like someone wrote recently, "Mr. Aroms is smart because he is married to a European" : Big assumption. That's analogy thinking. "Nigeria is never going to work unless we restructure it and move to regional government." Again analogy thinking. It is based on assumption and comparing data from another source and superimposing it on the present problem. Assumptions are not truth and as such are figments of our imagination. Secondly, because something worked in another country doesn't mean it will work in yours. To come with completely unexpected solutions you need much higher thinking process such as the "First Principle Thinking" to deal with complex problems. Google it if you want. First-principles thinking is one of the best ways to reverse-engineer complicated problems and unleash creative possibility. Sometimes, called “reasoning from first principles,” the idea is to break down complicated problems into basic elements and then reassemble them from the ground up. Thinking from first principles means boiling things down to the most fundamental truths and reasoning up from there. Analogy thinking start from where other stops. So if the first few people were blind, the next sets of people follow their assumption as starting point to think. "First Principle Thinking on the other hand completely breakdown the problems into distinct parts and try to reconstructure a solution. The results from using "First Principle Thinking" are often genial. I used this process to think my way through the problems of Africa and come out with solutions which are completely different from what people believe the problems to be. If you don't understand the problem you can never come up with good solutions. People who are not used to this process calls people like me crazy and atheist. The truth is, we are a bit crazy on the inside. It makes me laugh when I see people with Analogy Thinking challenging results from First Principle Thinking. People. First Principle Thinking is quantum. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=371556940017087&id=158338594672257

Is cassava flour the holy grail of gluten-free, grain-free cooking? It very well may be. But first, there are 5 things you need to know about it. Cassava flour is gaining momentum as a “go-to” gluten-free, grain-free flour. And it’s not surprising when you consider that those who follow restricted diets typically have to blend several flours to achieve the same consistency as wheat flour. Which is never ideal. But with cassava flour, that’s not the case. After traveling Bali and Southeast Asia for several months (eating delicious, locally made cassava breads, cakes and side dishes), I realized the huge potential of cassava flour. In fact, it seemed to be a pretty darn close replacement for wheat flour. Oh, could it be? Could it really be?! Yes, it could be! Which might just make it the holy grail of gluten-free, grain-free flours. But before you go off the deep-end by gobbling up cassava-everything (it’s easy to do), here’s five things you need to know: 1. CASSAVA FLOUR IS GLUTEN, GRAIN AND NUT-FREE The cassava plant is a staple crop to millions of inhabitants in South America and parts of Asia and Africa. The plant produces the cassava root (also known as yuca or manioc), a starchy, high-carbohydrate tuber – similar to yam, taro, plantains and potato. As a tuberous root vegetable, cassava is gluten, grain and nut-free, as well as vegan, vegetarian and paleo. 2. CASSAVA FLOUR IS NOT THE SAME AS TAPIOCA FLOUR While sometimes the terms cassava flour and tapioca flour are used interchangeably, there are in fact distinct differences. Tapioca is a starch extracted from the cassava root through a process of washing and pulping. The wet pulp is then squeezed to extract a starchy liquid. Once all the water evaporates from the starchy liquid, the tapioca flour remains. Alternatively, cassava flour is the whole root, simply peeled, dried and ground. This means it has more dietary fiber than tapioca flour – and allows me to make cassava flour tortillas, which would not be possible with tapioca flour. 3. CASSAVA FLOUR IS NOT POISONOUS It’s true that the cassava root contains naturally occurring cyanide compounds (also found in almonds and spinach!) and that yes, they can be extremely toxic. But only if eaten raw. That’s why the traditional cultures who rely on cassava for sustenance have centuries old processes of soaking, cooking and fermenting. These processes remove the toxic compounds and prevent one from getting sick. Rest assured that all commercially available cassava and tapioca flours do not contain any harmful levels of cyanide. 4. CASSAVA FLOUR IS HIGH IN CARBOHYDRATES Given that cassava is a starchy tuber, you would expect it to have a high carbohydrate profile. But it’s higher than you most likely imagined. For instance, per 100 grams, cassava has double the calories and carbohydrates as sweet potato. This makes it a valuable and relied upon food source for millions of native people. But it could mean an insulin spike for you! For the vast majority of people who don’t rely on cassava for subsistence, it would be prudent to monitor your cassava intake. Particularly if you’re following a low carbohydrate, low-sugar or Paleo-based diet. Translation: don’t eat cassava flour recipes at every meal! As always, moderation is key. 5. CASSAVA FLOUR IS THE MOST SIMILAR TO WHEAT FLOUR (OF GLUTEN-FREE FLOURS) This is the holy grail characteristic of cassava flour. Unlike other gluten-free flours such as almond or coconut flour, cassava flour is very mild and neutral in flavor. It’s also not grainy or gritty in texture – rather, it’s soft and powdery. These qualities, along with the fact that it can be replaced on a 1:1 basis with wheat flour in many recipes, make cassava flour a preferred flour for gluten-free, grain-free baking and cooking. It’s also a great nut-free flour. As always, quality matters when it comes to cassava flour and Otto’s Cassava Flour is the brand that I use and recommend. Unfortunately, I’ve recently heard from readers who’ve used other brands that their results were less than stellar. As cassava flour has grown in popularity and manufacturers are popping up left, right and center, it seems quality and how the flour is processed now varies greatly. Therefore, if you have any problems with the cassava flour recipes listed below, know that it’s likely the brand of cassava flour you’re using. http://www.agricinfo.com/2018/05/top-5-things-you-need-to-know-about.html?m=0 cc: lalasticlala and seun cc: mynd44

Someone worked into a room of 40 persons with a bible and I said miracle is going to happen today. Sure, everyone is interested in the miracle. He said God appeared to him last night and revealed to him that he is going to walk into a small hall today and discover at least two person with the same birthday. The two persons with the same birthday are going to be anointed. So he asked someone to get a piece of paper and take a row call. Everyone indicated his or her birthday and they were written down. I know what you are thinking. I am not going to bash pastors because this was not a setup. At the end of the row call, there were two sets of persons with the same birthdays. Two were born on march 17th and two others on June 6th. That was amazing and an expression of the power of God. Everyone was amazed and the four persons were anointed that day. The perceived power of the pastor increased. What the church members didn't know is the "Birthday Problem." or "Birthday Paradox" Basically, it said that once you have more than 23 people in a place the probability of having at least two persons with the same birthday is 50%. Once you have a bit more persons then the probability is on your side. It is a mathematical problem and I use to teach classes in Cryptography using this paradox to explain to students how man-in-the-middle attack can be used to break cryptographic algorithm due to the Birthday Paradox. During the class I never spoke with God and it was just pure mathematics. So it seems the pastor was deceiving his followers. What the black man don't understand is always a miracle. What I succeeded in doing was to teach the students cryptography. Anytime you use WhatsApp or Facebook or use your mobile banking app, please know that the understanding of the "Birthday Paradox" partly helped to develop the cryptographic algorithm that made these communications private. If we had used the knowledge to deceive people we would never had got this far. Try it yourself if you are a teacher, for sure you will have at least 23 students in your class. Someday, I will tell you about the "Knapsack Problem."
