One day, my wife and I were travelling from Miami, Florida to Cape Coral, Florida, USA. We had to drive through US 75. That road is Long and lonely, with very few petrol stations. Remember not to fall asleep because the road is straight , as if someone used a laser beam to measure it.

If you miss the last patrol station before the long straight you are in trouble when you run out. Because you will get stuck halfway at the Alligator Alley. You will find out soon enough why they call it the Alligator Alley.

The car was running low on gas, as the Americans would call it. ( I will further call it petrol.) So I decided to stop and ask if someone knows how far the next petrol station was. Because, I could only make another 40 miles with what I had. If it was too far from it I would rather go back to Miami to refill because I don't like alligators.

So, we came to this nature reserve area and there were lots of people there. I felt safe. I parked the car, left my wife in the car and I walked about 100 meters away where other cars were parked. I saw two ladies and decided to ask them. I approached their car and immediately they spotted me they roll up the car windows and warned me to stay away from them. They were very scared and locked the doors of the car and drove off immediately.

Guess what? they drove to the other side of the park 100 meters away and parked next to my car with my wife sitting inside. There they felt safe because now they were three white women there. Remember the saying, there is safety in numbers.

I later found a man who politely told me that the next petrol station was just 10 miles away. So, I thanked him very much and started moving back to my car and these two women were right next to it..

Now, I was thinking, I hope these women don't decide to shoot me to protect themselves from this black maniac. I was trying to signal my wife to come out of the car at least to pretend she knew me, so the other women stay calm, but she was too busy with her magazine that she didn't see my act of desperation. Now, I was thinking. I have protected you all my life, at last you have the chance to save me and you are reading a magazine.

Luckily, as I got closer the women thought the place was getting too dangerous and they drove away leaving my poor wife there to face the black maniac alone. When I got into the car, my wife said she didn't notice anything.

Lesson learned:
No matter what you have achieved in life, as long as you are a black man you remain a suspicious character and someone people have to watch out for. Except of course you are Barack Obama or Kofi Annan or maybe Denzel Washington. What is the difference? Everybody knows these men. They know they are not hooligans but not many people know me in florida, for them I am just another black man.

Primal instinct says, black man is dangerous, RUN. that is not the time to figure out if the dude is Barack Obama or Kofi Annan, because then the same women would have come out of the car for an autograph. - That is what you do when you get home. Then you feel regret. In the heat of the moment they must have been thinking, what a stupid and dangerous blackman? And I was thinking, some stupid white women? Actually, I thought we were all victims of circumstances. I wonder what ever happened to these women in the past. It was hurtful, but that is one of the realities of life.

I can just imagine their story in the next Tupperware meeting about how they escaped death on the US 75 from Miami to Naples from a manic black rapist.

Whether you like it or not, black people have a reputation, an image. It is that reputation that makes people to disrespect us. Not necessarily due to our colour. If we were green with the same reputation we would still get the same treatment. Then it will be the green people who did it.

Anytime, you see someone cheating, lying, doing corruption and other vices that is now the order of the day in Africa. Say something, do something. Remember, if you don't, you are a party to creating the environment of disrespect black people face daily, whether for a job interview, or at the airport or at the restaurant. It is the same thing. We are being disrespected all over the world, nomather how rich you are. If you have a degree from Nigeria, they say it's fake. I wonder why?

The transformation of the black race must start with Nigerians because ONE of every SIX black person in the world is a Nigerian. So, we don't have a cheating Nigerian, no, a cheating black man, Not a corrupt Nigerian, no, a corrupt black man, etc. You know how we can tell if someone is an Igbo man and the other is a Yoruba? White people can't do that. In Europe and America black is black.

In Europe you don't have corrupt white man, no, you have a corrupt politicians and a stealing dentist. Why, because the society don't accept these vices and in Africa we accept them, and celebrate the people. That is why we are all labeled as such. We respect thieves, corrupt people and high level hooligans too much. So, we have branded ourselves to be such. Birds of the same feathers flock together they say.

No normal people sell their own people as slaves, Loot everything that belongs to everyone and bring it to other nations to develop themselves, steal food donated to their refugees, allow their citizens to live in disease and squalor. No, nobody that does that gets respected. The only different is, because the other people don't know you personally, the only thing they see first is your colour and they base their judgement on that.

Yes, I know, it is wrong and I am not condoning discrimination but remember, if a lion is pursuing you, that is not the time to find out if it is a trained circus lion or one that escaped from the local zoo.

It's time we hold ourselves to a higher moral and ethical standards. It is only by doing this the black race will ever gain respect from the world.

David and Goliath. Sunday Lecture.
Every Christian know this story. But only few have studied and research it to get the meaning out of it as the bible instructed Christian to do. But only shout Hallelujah and God of thunder and fire.

"For as many things as have been written before have been written for our instruction, that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope." Romans 15:4.

They say, I am the heathen, but I have done my homework on all Bible stories. But don't call me a Pastor, I actually have disdain for the way that title is used by Africans. I won't bore you with the story of David and Goliath because everybody knows it. If you don't, then you are not a Christian and you can read it at 1 Samuel 17.

When reading such story you must understand that it was written for people to get some understanding out of it. No Matter your believes, note that these Bible Stories were written in FORM of stories to teach the Jewish people valuable lessons.

To understand the bible well or any other book for that matter. Ask yourself "The Why" question many times:

Why was this story written?
The story is about courage, acting without fear and trust in one's ability to perform accurately under pressure after years of practice."

As you read the story, keep asking yourself why, why and why. Let's do it.

Why did Goliath said " Am I a dog that you would come to me with sticks" David didn't have sticks with him. He had a Slinger with him. Everybody then knew what a Slinger was. It might be because Goliath didn't see properly. He was clumsy and moved slowly and he was very huge so he had to be led to the battle ground and someone carried his shield. Hmm.

Why did David suddenly think he could kill Goliath with a Slinger? Was he mad? People said, He trusted the lord. That's why? That was not the reason.

David was a professional SLINGER. It is an incredibly devastating weapon. Everybody in those days knew how deadly that weapon was. It wasn't a toy from Disney. David used to kill Lions with it before.

When David turned the sling around, he is turning it around at about 6-7 revolution per second. When the stone is released at a speed of 35 meters per second. That is fast. When the stone hit the target. It's stopping power is that of a 45mm handgun. See picture. It will put a big hole in anybody's head. no matter how strong the head is.

Slingers like David were very accurate. They could hit and kill large object at about 80 m away. They were so accurate that they could hit a bird in flight They were incredibly accurate. David was much closer to Goliath than 80 m. So Goliath was a sitting duck.

Goliath wanted to fight David combat style, man to man. That was his territory. He couldn't move fast and was slow. David was much agile and was a master Slinger. Goliath was no match for David in an unconventional battle using Slingers.

Why did Goliath got so big? Using the "First Principles Thinking" The fundamental truth is animal of any type have specific size. That is basic biology. Goliath was not the normal size of homo sapiens sapiens (Humans). But are their people today who are that big. Yes, there are? So why are they that big and what can we learn from them?

They have a disease called Acromegaly.

Acromegaly, "is a hormonal disorder that develops when your pituitary gland produces too much growth hormone during adulthood. When this happens, your bones increase in size, including those of your hands, feet and face. Acromegaly usually affects middle-aged adults." A famous wrestler called Andre The Giant and The Great Khali had it.

This is the reason Goliath had to be led to the battle ground. This was why someone else had to carry his shield and had a poor vision because this disease affect your eyesight quickly. Although Goliath was strong he was no match for David who was much agile.

What is the lesson here?
1) Sometimes, Giants are not as powerful as they seem.

2) There are ways to defeat Giants. This is what we can learn from the story of David and Goliath.

3) Our weaknesses could become our strengths. David was perceived weak because he was a young man with only a Slinger. Nobody brings a Slinger to a battlefield but David did. Why? Because that was his weapon of choice. He was an expert slinger. What is your weapon of choice in your life's battles?

4) David practice his skills daily and was ready for action when it was needed. This is what the Jews still do. Practice their crafts daily. African Christians should start doing this. You think Davido just stand up and pick up the Mic and sing?

5) Make use of what you already have. Don't wait till you have everything before taking action. Thinking won't do it, but action will.

6) You must believe in yourself. Most people believe in God but not in themselves. But the bible say you are God's. So, if you don't believe in you who is going to believe in you?

7) Don’t underestimate your capabilities. You need to find out an unconventional method to fight any battle you are up against. Whether it is Buhari or anybody out there. The unconventional wins 66% of the time.

Research has shown that in every battle after that of David and Goliath the small guy, the underdog always win 66% of the time. The famous win was that of the Vietnamese against the giant US army. Why? The Vietcong fought the Americans in an unconventional way.

In is not only in battles. In is the same in business, the small company will beat the Big guys 66% of the time. Facebook was small compare to Myspace. Google was small compared to Yahoo and Microsoft was David compare to IBM. All this time David won. It happens in politics too 66% of the time.

The Author and Researcher Malcolm Gladwell has done extensive research on this subject. You might want to read his book "David and Goliath". He is one of my favorite writers. I don't think he goes to church though.

All this you can learn from just one story in the bible. I bet millions of people going to church today in Nigeria will not learn this much. That is why Africa remains backward and they think what is happening in Israel is a miracle. .

You see, you don't have to be a pastor to understand the bible. (Not that the pastors do) It requires dedication, work and patience. 7 ThiAnd God don't speak to me either. I know I would get more readers and make lots of money if I claim God revealed this to me last night. But that won't be true and my wife would be the first to argue it.

Why Black African people don't have food to eat.Why?
Africa import over 50% of their food. We used to pride ourselves in Agriculture, That we Africans are very close to nature and we understand how to grow food.

When I was a kid, they use to tell me that white people were not strong. They called them "Ajebo" Well, who is the Ajebo now? White people feed themselves, spread food to the world and throw away 40% of their food because their children are too picky.

These are two great Jewish principles.

So what is the problem of Africa? Why can't we feed ourselves? Look at how how Nigerians deal with Bees, then you know. Most people set fire into any beehive they find because they think bees are nuisance.

We have lost diligence at work. Read your bible you will see diligence and work ethics all over. Starting in Genesis we find Jacob's devoted service to Laban. Jacob tells his wives, "I served your father with all my might" (Genesis 31:6). And he tells Laban, "Thus I was: in the daytime the dryness consumed me, and the frost at night; my sleep fled from my eyes" (Genesis 32:40).

Afterward we learn of Joseph's diligent service first to his master, then to the jail-keeper, and ultimately to Pharaoh.

And in the book of Proverbs we learn that "One who works his land will be sated with bread, but one who runs after empty things lacks understanding" (Proverbs 12:11), and "The slothful person desires but has nothing; but the soul of the diligent will be sated" (Proverbs 13:4).

In the Jewish culture the Maimonides states: "Just as the employer is warned not to steal the wages of the poor and not to delay them, so is the poor person warned not to steal the work of the employer by idling a little here and a little there, until he passes the whole day in deceit. Rather, he must be scrupulous with himself regarding time." (Laws of hire 13:7).

So, how many Christians know that idling at work is stealing. If this is so, halve of Nigerians are Christians are yet most people idle away at work. The reason is, they have not been thought the words of God.

For me, This type of lessons is what Churches supposed to be teaching every day and every Sunday. Imagine what would happen if all members of the society gets to learn these principles everyday like the Jewish people. These are the words of God, These are the words Jesus said “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”. Matthew 4:4. Not from the mouth of the GO. Sorry guys.

The picture below depicted one typical African cassava farm with poor yield because there is no diligence at work. The other is done diligently. -- I guess it will be hard to find out which one. My sarcasm.

The same piece of land will produce 3-6 tons done without care and produce 35-40 tons done diligently. It is not the white man's way but diligently.

These are the main reasons Africa is hungary. It is not the money, it is not the season and it is not the rain. They have refused to be diligent it what they do.

It is the same reason we have people with master degree in agriculture that cannot grow their own food. Mechanical engineers that cannot fix their own cars, Botanist that cannot propagate a plan and Microbiologist that cannot breed bacteria. I have seen it all. They are not diligence with work. This is the Nigeria today. So, she has reduced herself from a giant to a toddler.

While you read this, please type in your comment any wisdom from our forefathers in Africa that teaches us diligence at work that we have forgotten.

I learned few things from reading the comments from people yesterday.

1. I will improve the test for employing Africans in any future project I am involved in. Many people just don't have the reasoning faculty.
2. It is a very long road to development in Africa. In fact, it may never happen. But we shall keep trying.
3. Be very reserved in employing fanatical Christians. They will destroy your business with prayer instead of working on it. Yes, I am a Christian myself but there are lots of foolish Christians running around the continent, Muslim too, in case you ask.

Anyway. On to the blasphemy of the day. This is a long one. Please brace yourself for it.

The Jews believe that God will not show you the way until you have started, while an African Christian believe God will show you the way before you start. This is a fundamental difference in the interpretation of what God is willing to do for you. It makes one nation rich and the other poor.

Why is modern Israel a successful nation.? I promised to finalized this today. First, let's start with the military.

Orde Wingate was a Major General of the British Army when he died fighting in a plane crash. Today he would have been called a terrorist if he was of colour. Go and Google him. The British and Israelis called him a military genius and he was.

He is the one that trained the army that later became Israeli army when Israel was formed on May 14, 1948. Wingate came to Palestine in 1936 to start his insurgency there. He commanded and accompanied the Israeli soldiers to battles.

If you go to Israel today, The man is still well honored there. He even have a square named after him: The Orde Wingate Square. He was like General Stonewall Jackson and General Eisenhower in the USA. He set the tone for how the Israeli army would became today.

We had great men and women in Africa too. Even some from Britain, But we have abandoned everything they thought us. People like William Wilberforce, Kwame Nkrumah, Nnamdi Azikiwe and Herbert Macaulay. So we have not made any progress because we refused to build on the foundation. The Israelis did.

If Orde Wingate had trained the Nigerian army and they work like the Israelis they would have been as good as the Israeli army today. You see no general steal the money and buy old Jets and armoured tanks for the Israeli army. Every Israeli, Male or female must be trained for combat.

It is share bruteforce. It wasn't God that did it. The Israeli worked their backs off training and learning and investing. It is a share dedication and an unrelentless effort. NO BLACK nation on earth have ever done that. I know this is blasphemy to my people but I will continue.

The success of the Jewish people have to do with The Jewish culture. The culture is formed by their believes. The believes is formed by their Jewish holy books and not Christianity. This is where African Christians get confused and stop thinking. Israelis are not Christians. The God of Christians said Jesus is the only way. Nobody comes to the father without Christ But, The Jewish people don't believe in Jesus, so now that God must break his own rules so Israel can remain blessed. A five year old European child can figure this out. This brings cognitive dissonance.

But the Jewish people don't have this type of confusion in their head. Period. They don't even think they are blessed anymore. They are still trying to repent from their sins. That is why they go to the wailing wall.

They are focused at what they do. They have one problem though. They take everything seriously and literary. Infact, too seriously. Nothing is a joking matter there. But, that has become their strongest point. They study and get absorbed in their holy books and use the lesson they learn to improve their lives. Just last week a Jewish military officer was dismissed for giving some soldiers resting time because they were exhausted.

A Jew is very methodical and structured. They are thought that from infancy. They know you must teach a child before 7 years old. If you miss it the child will be deficient. In African, most Children are left on their own at that age.

Interestingly they even have a books on Ethics. Then you have the Oral Torah that are not written down. Those are campfire stories of wisdom. You have to learn those as well. Where are our campfire stories of wisdom? The story of the tortoise and the lion with lessons to be learned. We have abandoned them.

Imagine studying these Jewish books from childhood and following the principles outlined herein all your life. The books are online, they are everywhere. Anyone can read them, but most Africans don't read and many of our brothers don't like following instructions. That is one thing Jews people don't have issues with because the Torah said they must follow instructions.

Any country that follows the wisdom in these books like the Jews people will excel like the Jewish people. There is no magic to it. But Africans always want to belief in miracle instead of getting down to work. They said no other nation can do what the Israelis are doing. But in the last 60 years many nations have done more. The United States even went to the moon. China has done even more and the UAE have done crazily well. These are the nations who have studied and adapted what works.

Unlike Nigerians, they have deep, commitment to change.
These are some of the believes that drives the Jewish people. They don't just read them but, they live them. some of them are in the bible. Because part of the bible is in the Torah.

1) “The wages of a worker shall not remain with you all night until the morning” (Lev 19:13). So they don't owe workers. that way people remain motivated to work. How many months are Nigerian workers owed? That was already so 40 years ago.

2) "Do not take advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether that worker is a fellow Israelite or a foreigner residing in one of your towns."
Deuteronomy 24:14 ( how much are even the churches paying their workers in Nigeria?) People are not motivated to work. Without good reward, there is no motivation and as such the entire nation suffers and no progress.

3) “You shall have just balances and just weights” (Lev. 19:36) Cheating and fake products are not allowed in that culture. In Nigeria you will hardly see a product that is not faked. Even the Christians takes the lead in this. They call it business..

4) Humbleness and accept criticism
“He who loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid” (Proverbs 12:1).

5) Generosity
“The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself” (Proverbs 11:24).

" King Solomon said, “Our work is meaningless unless it is to do good” (Ecclesiastes 3:12–13).

6) Honesty
“If one is honest in his business dealings and people esteem him, it is accounted to him as though he had fulfilled the whole Torah” (Mechilta B’Shalach 1).

7) Ethics
“Know what is above you: An eye that sees” (Ethics of the Fathers, 2:1).

Christianity is based on Jews Values. Jesus changed one thing. While everything in the Jewish culture was based on Law and Punishment. Jesus thought Love and Forgiveness. so this is the equation:

Judaism = Jewish culture + Law and punishment
Jesus teaching = Jewish culture + Love and forgiveness.

Africans only adapted parts of Jesus teachings and skip everything else. The love, the forgiveness and the Jewish culture. Ironically, they also skipped their OWN culture because they think they are now Christians. So, they are left without any core value. Black Africans are simply lost.

Africans adopted christianity artificially without adopting the culture that went with it. which is the foundation of success.

Just like Elijah challenged the people: I am challenging everyone today who call themselves Christians in Africa “How long are you going to sit on the fence? If you are a christian then do everything a christian supposed to be doing and you will prosper. And if you are not, go back and learn from your forefathers and do everything they thought and you will prosper. But sitting on the fence and praying to go to heaven will not get you anywhere. Even God don't want to have you there because you have not done your work here on earth. Jesus last words on earth as a human were. "It is finished" He completed his work. Have you? So why do you think God will take you to heaven. Don't be ridiculous.

Don't be a Christian and do traditional wedding today and do Christian wedding next week. You are serving two masters and you will not succeed in life.

I often wonder how the people in Israel feel anytime they see Christian pilgrims in their country. There are about 161,000 Israeli Christians. This is just 2% of the total population or a medium size church in Nigeria. Israelis are Jews. They practice Judaism which is the same religion Jesus was born into. I wonder how many Christians know Jesus wasn't a Christian.

The Jewish people (Israelis) till today do not believe in Jesus. In fact, they believe he was not the messiah. That was why they killed him in the first place; --- Talk about not getting a hint.
They are still waiting for the messiah to come. This is all facts.

The story gets more interesting. Most people go and visit the dome which is the most famous location in Jerusalem. The Christians, Muslims and Jews people all have a claim to that spot. That was the spot the famous Temple of Jerusalem was located. The one Jesus went to fight the traders. Remember?
But that one was destroyed and was never rebuilt again.

African Christians think Israel is still blessed by God so they almost worship Israel. What an Irony! Israelis don't even believe in Jesus and they don't read the bible.

Israel is one of the nation cursed by God according to the bible, several times, until he got tired of cursing them so he did a final one and he stopped.

Even Jesus said it.
"They will be killed by the sword or sent away as captives to all the nations of the world. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the period of the Gentiles comes to an end."

But many black Christians think it was they that was cursed by God, even when they cannot find one single evidence for that. Walhalla. Talk about inferiority complex.

So in A.D. 70, after a five-month siege, the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and destroyed the temple on the 10th day of the 5th month, according to Jewish tradition — ironically, the same day of the year upon which Nebuchadnezzar had burned down the first temple, some 656 years earlier!

That was not the first time but it was the final one. Then God abandoned them. That is why today, NO israeli can tell you from which tribe of Israel he came from. The records were all destroyed in the temple during the big war. Most Africans Christians don't know this as well.

The first destruction of Jerusalem was done by Kind Nebuchadnezzar in 587/6 B.C. (2 Kings 25:8-17). Israel was enslaved for 70 years due to stubborness.When they came back 70 years later, they rebuilt the temple.

So when Donald Trump stupidly want to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem, most of the Christians were very happy because God was starting to restore the Temple. What has Trump got to do with the restoration of Jerusalem? After all, he is a Gentile. And Jerusalem was supposed to be trampled until the end of the Gentile time. hmm.

Why do people think God blessed Israel? Because of their will to survive and their technological advancement. they cannot explain it so it must be due to the power of God. Next time you think that please remember that according to your bible Israel supposed to still be under curse by God till today. How do you explain that?

But I will tell you tomorrow why Israel is technological advanced. It will blow your mind and It has nothing to do with God's blessings.

People who are corrupt, steal because of lack of confidence in their own ability to EVER succeed without stealing. I am going to take what belongs to you because I don't think I can ever work for it myself. They are cowards.

Put me in any hole in the world, I will fight myself out of it. That confidence I have. So, I don't need to be corrupt when I find myself in a tight spot. I don't need to steal money from IDP camp. Haba, how low can you go. Even Chinese rice met for homeless children are stolen by our people.

The poorest nations in the world are the most corrupt and are plenty in Africa. Why? There you have the most people on earth who lack total confidence in their own abilities.

It is actually very pathetic to look at a corrupt person. He or she is not given a single iota of respect in where I leave. They are seen as the scum of the earth.

In Africa where everything is upside down, corrupt people are the heroes. This didn't start yesterday, it started thousands of years back. I wonder who was the first black man that got us into trouble. Trust me, it wasn't Babaginda or Abacha, not even Obasanjo. They only did what their forefathers did already. In fact, there are more ready to take over from them now.

Nigerians like to ask me one simple question. What is the way forward? The answer is also simple. In fact, the answer is so simple that people don't want to do it.

The simple answer is Just like Jesus said already. "Repent from your sins." It is not hard to do. But, I also know that Nigerians are not going to do this. Why? They are afraid. If they stop sinning where are they going to get food to eat? How would they pay the school fees? What happens when they are old?

They lack the absolute confidence in their own ability to survive without criminality. Despite the shouting in God's name, They however, lack the absolute confidence in their God's ability to lead them. All that prayer is just show, which is not backed by any confidence.

All the Bravado from Nigerians like Fela said:
"I go beat you, I go nearly kill you" Na Shakara. All that big dressing up, big house, big car and fake Rolex, Na Shakara.

"My God is the greatest. The most powerful.
I am so blessed, that I shine like the northern star.
God will deliver me from all my enemies."

It is all Shakara. They don't have the confidence that it is so. Nigerians need to stop this shakara thing.

Most Nigerians lack the confidence that they are equal to the white people. I still see even governors bringing low level Chinese workers to sign MOU at government house in NIgeria. Governor Obaseki is an expert at this. That is how low our people have brought themselves. And, they are not even white men.

What really bothers me today, is the number of youths who have absolutely no direction. The youths are so confused and without guidance that most youths will continue to make Nigeria unsafe for life and business. It's all due to lack of confidence.

Self confidence is like muscles. You can develop it with training. But tell a Nigerian that his problem is self confidence he will start insulting you. Which is actually the proof of the lack of self confidence.

The main reason why people lack confidence is lack of education. Many people have not educated themselves, so they feel insecure. I am not talking about valueless university papers here. We have plenty of those.

Another thing that happens when people lack confidence is actually over confidence which is an irony. That overconfidence is actually one of the highest level of ignorance.

Overconfidence is actually someone trying to compensate for the lack of confidence. When it gets too overcompensated it results to overconfidence. Think about this for a moment.

That is why some Nigerians fight on the streets of Europe. Insult each others parents without shame, Insult the police when they are not present etc. They are trying to overcompensate for their lack of confidence.

Africans need to understand that they cannot just go through life without preparation. Life will never change when the way you treat it stays the same. For something to change, you got to change.

Suffering has no limitations.

Why I didn't invest in Afghanistan and Syria. It is for the simple fact that investors are people. Investors have spouses. Investors have children. They need hospitals and schools. Sometimes a playground to play.

Afghanistan and Syria are very bad places to invest. not because there are no opportunity there, but the opportunity cost is too high. You could get killed.

Some people are angry at me because I am going to Liberia to invest. They said people need jobs in Nigeria. That is true. Many people don't know that I have fought different types of forces in Nigeria. Customs, Immigration, Police, Governors, Area Boys, Fulani herdsmen, even the civil servants and even ordinary citizens. Actually, it is a wonder that I am still alive. It wasn't like some people would do, come to Nigeria for few weeks and go back to New York to their regular job. No, I was grinding it out in NIgeria, sometimes I stayed an entire year at a time. I even came with my bulletproof vest because some guys were shooting at it..

Yes, I know what some people are thinking. No, it wasn't spiritual attack, It is just a lot of bad people living in a chaotic and disorderly country. They put so much obstacles on the way of progress that it seems that is their calling for humanity.

After sometimes, it doesn't make any more sense to continue to risk one's live in the name of investment. hat is not investment but a suicide mission. Investment is not sentiments, it involved serious money earned through hard work by people. That is the same reason I didn't invest in Afghanistan or Syria.

Although, Nigerians needs investors, the place is not ready for investors. The citizens are not even thought on how to deal with investors.

Most countries of the world have policy on how their citizens deals with Investors because investors are people. For now, they are not safe in Nigeria. Nigerians need awakening of consciousness. People must wake up to their responsibilities because The Customs, Immigration, Police, Governors, Area Boys, Fulani herdsmen and the civil servants are all people.

till now my wife of almost 30 years still don't have a resident permit in Nigeria. It is always one story after the other.

All Nigerians must realised that the entire country is dragged down collectively through national effort and not just by one single individual.

So, I will try Liberia, maybe we can succeed there and spread the love to Nigeria later. However, if they behave like Nigerians I will stop investing in Africa for good. I am not bitter, but just a realist. Then I could say like Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh said:

"I have done my bit."

But, I still won't invest in Afghanistan or Syria.

I was brought up a Christians like most Nigerians from the Southern and Eastern Nigeria. I write what I write now because I know now more than I was thought. You see, you are supposed not to study more and understand more by yourself as a Christian. I broke that rule.

So, when I was 13 years old, I read this verse that changed the way I looked at life.

"He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them."
2 Corinthians 5:15.

That was before Chris Oyakhilome and the other guys came to dilute the message.

I realized anybody that called himself a Christian will "No Longer live for themselves" after they have accepted Christianity. That has driven me relentlessly all my life till now. It wasn't just to type "Amen" if you agree. It was more serious than that.

I know anybody who is still living only for himself is not a Christian. Irrespective of what that person thinks, profess. preach or shout. I know that is the problem with Africa as a whole. 95% of the people still live for themselves even when they call themselves Christians.

You only have to see what people do, say and think to know what their heart contains. They are not Christians.

Don't take my words for it. Read your bible. You are not a Christian if you only lived for yourself. in fact, you have not lived at all if you have not Loved and Impacted other lives during your lifetime.

So, the question is. can you really say you have loved and impacted lives around you? If not, you are not a Christian. I think it was the dude called Paul who wrote:

"They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their actions. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed."
