Pls, can one lease up to 50acres or more at a time? With the hope of buying in future say between 1or 2years. Pls reply immediately. Tnx |
Hmmmm. Am not surprised, PDP will use everything to discredit you but when you say the truth about them, they will shout.. ... .. .. . Pls tell us what Oyinlola did as a PDP governor for seven and a half(7.5)years. The only thing I could remember was the road between Olaiya and Ede, other than that, please, point out one major achievement of Oyinlola PDP government. The road linking Oshogbo to Ilesa, that was awarded during Oyinlola, how was it. Yes, Aregbe may not be the best thing that has happened to Osun state, he has his flaws, but i bet you, the worst Aregbe is million times better than the worst PDP government. You people compare yourselves with viable states like Lagos, Ogun, Anambra and the rest, but sincerely, what do you really have to generate the kind of IGR this States generate? Osun is in the league of states like Ekiti, Nasarawa etc. They depend 95% on government allocations. So please, stop being foolish and insincere because of an upcoming election. Note, am not from Osun state. |
Where were they when PDP was in power? They are not patriotic Nigerians, they are only saying this because they are no more in power. Useless bunch of old men. |
Pls, how much will it cost now to plant on an acre. I mean 1000buds. |
Businessideas:Thank you so much for this piece. Some of our brothers from the land of the rising sun, due to the hatred they have for PMB will not reason well. Imagine, a state governor, who swore to protect the Constitution of the Fed Rep of Nigeria, writing the President of a sovereign nation not to give Nigeria a loan, it's absurd. When I was trying to explain then to some people, they were not ready to listen, due to the hatred they have for PMB, they were happy, and even when Fayose traveled to China, I new he has lost it, but i was shocked the Fed Govt didn't use the constitution to deal with him. I think by the time all those fools in ekiti are jailed for treason, he will know that by 2018, he will join them. |
Can you please post the current rents you have and the prices. |
Is the car still available? if yes, how much? |
Is the car still available? And d current price also. |
Hmmmm. Seriously |
Hmmmm. Very funny |

The UK rep and Vanguard should STFU. Are they not aware of what happened during Jona's regime? With all the amnesty and pipeline protection contract give to the people of SS, who has it 'epped'. You don't armtwist every government that comes to power for your own selfish interest. What did asari do with all the money he got from the previous government? Build a university in Benin Republic. What did tompolo do with his own share? How about there grandpa clerk? PMB should use everything within his power to stop those miscreants who wants money for themselves not the development of SS. |
I hope you have all see why some of us don't, won't and never support NLC. Once the minimum wage of civil servants who are government workers has been increased, the useless NLC doesn't care anymore about the private sector workers. This are(private sector) people who are mostly contract staffs, some who are been paid peanuts, but the useless NLC doesn't care once their own minimum wage has been increased by the government. Mind you, this increase will affect every Nigerian citizen irrespective of whether you work as a civil servant or not. The increase will automatically increase the prices of things in the market and there is no price control. When has the useless NLC talk about stroke when companies outsource vacancies to their cronies and pay those who work half of their true salaries and someone will be sitted somewhere to collect part of the salaries without doing anything. Are they blind to all the happenings in the country? I thought the slogan in Labour is 'ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE, AN INJURY TO ONE IS AN INJURY TO ALL'. |
Genius |
Ngozi123:I appreciate your sincere contributions and i wont argue with you concerning the number of deaths on the federal side since you are only concerned about the biafran 'propaganda'. What we are trying to say is that Ojukwu new, as a senior officer in the army, before the war that millions of souls will be lost because he was ill prepared. The deaths could have been avoided. Let me ask you a question, Azikiwe, Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello fought for Nigerians independence right. Ahmadu Bello was killed in a coup by young Igbo soldiers, Awolowo was at the front of the situation trying to queel the civil war. Please, where was Azikiwe all through the civil war. Why didn't anyone hear of his contributions to ending the war. Your people should stop being ungrateful to a man who stood for your fathers when there own ran away. I have never heard any Igbo youth mention Zik or when call him a coward. That I believe is because the stories told by your elders never mentioned him, and no one has the guts to ask. To the 20pounds issue, note that most Igbos who had accounts in Nigerian banks withdrew all their savings before going back to the east. Let your elders be sincere with you for once. |
pchukwudi:@pchukwudi, I need not argue with you as I see that you don't know much about the civil war. Incase you were not told about the Asaba massacre by Muritala Muhammad, I think you should go and learn about it. Moreover, where and when did you hear of any Yoruba man killing the Igbos mercilessly during the war? Incase you also dont know, it was only in the West that there was no report of Abandoned properties. 99.9% of the Igbos got back all their properties in the West after the war. Also, you are quick to curse Awolowo who was benevolent enough to make the FG give 20pounds to Igbos after the war. Am sure you are one of those who believe that the Igbos left monies in the bank before they left for biafra. Plsssssss, leave sentiment aside and think with your brain. Reason, after the holocaust of the second world war, where the Israelis given anything to start all over again with? Be thankful to those who saved you in time of trouble, so that.. ..... .. ... . Who knows, if not for Awolowo who starved for grandparents and helped stop the war, you might not be here today typing all this. |
Nice |
@OP, I want to thank you greatly for this piece. You have done a great work here. I also read the thread about the Awolowo speech and i was so disappointed with what some Igbos were typing. They are quick to use the 3million dead propaganda forgetting that Nigeria also lost some people in thousands or even millions too. I was also forced to researched also and whole doing that, I came across a piece in the Vanguard, published on November 28, 2011, where even Ojukwu himself called the Sage, The Best President Nigeria Never Had. Let me quote a little here BY CLIFFORD NDUJIHE, DEPUTY POLITICAL EDITOR HATE him or like him, the late Biafran Leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu was fond of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo. The fondness arose from his perception of Awolowo’s vision, politics and welfarist ideology that sought and pursued the betterment of the citizenry. Without doubts, Pa Awolowo concretised his vision in Western Region, when he superintended the area as premier in the 1950s. Having made his mark in Western Region, Awolowo’s attempts to replicate good governance at the centre, beginning from Independence in 1960 to May 9, 1987 when he died, did not yield dividends. At various times, he sought the headship of the country on the platforms of the Action Group (AG) and Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN). When he died in 1987, a sad Odumegwu-Ojukwu described Awolowo as “the best president Nigeria never had.” Some of these Igbo youths, who are fond of saying the Hausas' are dump followers are also exhibiting the same triats. I know of some Yorubas who will tell you Awolowo was bad, but you can hardly find a Igbo who will be rational and objective while talking about the civil war. If they take there time to study and read about the cause of the civil war and the eventual end of the war, they would have realised to win a war, there are definitely going to be casualties. Take for instance, the Second World War, Gen. Dwight Eisenhower, had to sacrifice 6,000 souls on the D Day to pass through Normandy, the stronghold of the Germans to win the war against Hitler. The issue of starvation that the Igbos youth always use against Awolowo was not something they understood. 1. Most of the foods being delivered to the people of Biafra was been diverted for Military consumption. 2. The war was lingering too long, and the only way to end it quick is to starve them(you can't fight and feed someone and expect the fight to end). 3. It was the easiest way to end the war and save more souls because if the Northern Military had gotten to the Biafrian side, it would have been disastrous. People wrote alot about the war, I will always recommend Why We Struck by Ademola Ademoyega, he fought on both sides and The Tragedy of Victory by Gen. Godwin Alabi-Isama. Yes, it's very good to defend your tribe or people, but please, do it wisely. |

The insensitivity of the Saraki of a man is beyond my imagination. He was part of the Change mantra and he should have been aware that Mr President is not on the same page with all that's going on right now. This is the same man who is looking for the sympathy of Nigerians as his trial proceeds at the CCT, the same man who wants us to believe he is not corrupt is the same man who signed an agreement with a car company to purchase Prados at N35.1m. This is after the unHonourable Senators have received car loans. Come to think of it, do they really need the car loans? This are made man for crying out loud. Can they take a cue from PMB, who refused to buy new cars but instead maintained the cars used by GEJ. This are people who collects wardrobe allowance as if the don't have cloths some of them have not even wore since they bought it. I think the best thing or the way forward is to propose a bill whereby the Senate will not be a full time job. I know they will resist the move but it will only show the Hypocrisy in making laws for Nigerians. |
chukwudi44:Mr Saraki's PA, once your master has been found quilty at the CCT, he proceeds straight to Kuje Prison or Suleja or worst still Keffi Prison, and from there, he can begin his appeal. I wonder who you will support once Saraki gets to Kuje prison |
chukwudi44:Am sure you have not heard or read about the ACJA(Administration of Criminal Justice Act). It was passed by the last Senate incase you never heard of it. Take your time to peruse it and you'll see that Justice Umar is very right. Moreover, Saraki should have seen the handwriting on the wall the moment he lost at the Supreme Court. |
