I just pity this country. I think it's really time for revolution. The people against the government. Make we kukuma destroy the country start over again. It's too much sef. Every time from frying pan to fire. Weda it's apc or pdp i don't give a hoot. I don't even think there is any political divide in this country. They are all one body acting a script. These same people who bash each other have their secret place of meeting where they strategize for their next move. It's time for we as a people in unity to fight this government and oust all of them. Very incompetent set of people in leadership positions. I watched a movie yesterday "Snowden" in that movie it wasn't even the fact that America is spying on the whole world that got my attention. It's the level of intelligence these people have. I was baffled. As it is, america is already in the future while Africa is still trying to copy their past.
I get sick to my stomach when i see how our youths who are supposed to be the leaders of tomorrow let themselves to be used as pawns by these politicians for their selfish gains.
It is time to take OUR country back!
It's not Apc or PDP who owns the country. It's you and i. Trust me. Even if leadership changes hands it's still going to continue like this or even worst. The political system needs to be purged.
Lets start making the noise!

REVOLUTION!!!
I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!!!
Lets kick off this trend.
I'm ready to give my life for this course i swear!
#GIVEMEMYCOUNTRY
Okay. You for one are finally getting clueful.
One instructive thing. When GEJ was sharing Malabu oil bloc sale money, the first person he parcelled his share was OBJ. Young people are born stupid in Nigeria.

Omo men nigeria was cursed the moment buhari stepped in. Donald trump has not left the capitol and he has signed all the documents that nomimated all his senior officials. Buhari took six months to engage his best angels devils...tufia!
Donald Trump is clueless.
All the people he nominated are unqualified. The education Secretary could not answer simple question on curriculum, the man who has been fighting EPA for years is the Head of the Dept. supervising EPA, a brain surgeon is HUD Secretary.
Please forget Trump, the man is blank.
Buhari proceeded from strong convictions about corruption that is why he did not nominate a cabinet for six months.

Politicians position themselves two years in advance for all the posts in Nigeria. Lists come from Ota farm, Minna and Bourdillon road. Godfathers have field day.
Buhari halted that nonsense and we were able to save money

It takes major BALLS to stand up to strong personalities in APC .

Trump has balls as well don't get me wrong but the should have taken more care in his appointments.

They are very different . Buhari knows Government and governance. He has been holding public office in Nigeria since he was in his thirties. Trump has never, ever done anything in Government except buy New York politicians and donate to campaigns.
I am always surprised when people see similarities in the two people. None.

America did not invade Nigeria when zombiehari over thrown legally , democratically, elected president shagari in bloody coup and tribal based ,

incarceration , intimidation , liquidation and confiscation of properties and burning of expensive imported goods worth billions

so you are quick to forget right ? IPOB will never forget.
There is an ECOWAS charter on human rights that provides legal basis for this. You cannot disenfranchise a country because you are President or not respect the result of an election

It is amateurish to ask for legal basis for multilateral military actions. There is non for all UN peace missions. There is non for AMISOM in Somalia. There was none for Nigeria's intervention in Liberia.

However if you extend human rights protection principles enshrined in the charter of those organizations you will find legal justification.

Aside from tjis, there is a subsisting defence treaty between Nigeria and Gambia. Nigeria used to provide the Chief of Army Staff and trained the officer corps. The Chief Judge of that country may actually still be a Nigerian so there is also a subsisting judiciary assistance treaty as well.

The Gambia operation begins.
Kanilai Military Camp under attack by ECOMOG troop.
APGA Interactive Forum gathered that fighting broke out at Kanilai military camp Gambia some hours ago as soldiers loyal to the rebel leader and ex president Jammey Yahya refused to surrender to the regional force ECOMOG who entered Gambia this evening to chase out Jammey.
Kanilai camp, This FORUM learnt is surrounded and being shelled right now.
The commander of the Kanilai camp Gen Savage was approached and he wasn't cooperative, a Gambian source stated. "Bora Colley and Savage were called on their cells and asked to hand over themselves. They refused and open fire to the ECOMOG troops. As we write this piece, Kanilai is Surrounded", he stated.
Gambians especially civilians are advised to "Please stay in doors, to allow the ECOWAS troops do their job".
APGA Interactive Forum, the best News FORUM.
If you see the muscles on this General Savage you will forgive and understand his stupidity. You can't be built like that without blood being diverted from your brains.

I'm totally against the deployment of ECOMIG. Nobody has been able to provide legal backing that supports military intervention in Gambia. Nigeria hasn't provided any, Senegal, none, Ghana zero, ECOWAS, the AU and the UNSC.

These are the undeniable facts. Irrespective of the euphoria surrounding the deployment.

If this were to happen in Uganda, would the AU/ECOWAS respond in this manner. You and i know the answer is a resounding NO.

Democratic institutions should be allowed to effect change. A show of bravado is not the direction we should be going in Africa.

I'm excited with our rapid response. Especially when we consider the debacle that was Mali, the response time for Mali was abysmal. Gambia is also much, much farther than mali.
Please you are very wrong in your lack of support.
Jammeh committed a coup against the constitution of Gambia, its election laws and it's democracy.

There is no invasion of Gambia. The international community is merely removing a criminal and his mercenaries who have commandeered the Government house in Banjul.

You started from the premise that the whole country was Jammeh's property or he is still President which are wrong.

The law is a very very dangerous thing. D you know there was no foot set into Gambia till the expiration of his term?
They have already constructed this guy's coffin and he will enter it.

What concerns SA in a discussion that is about Nigeria's intervention in Gambia?

Are you sure you're in the right thread?

Why have you decided to become a party pooper?
We just started this na.
In any case the company we are partnering with is a light aerobatic aircraft manufacturer not exactly "aerospace" stuff. The utility aircraft we are going to co develop is as novel to them as it is to us.
It is a very good move anyway, the skillsets we will acquire going this route is more fundamental and sustainable - aerodynamics, wing design, aerostructures, fuselage design, flight controls and propulsion.
However we are behind SA along this road and they have some seasoned engineers and facilities on ground already.

Our aircrafts are not old, I don't know where you are getting these comments from. A certain country in Africa flies planes that are from World War II.

- The Last of our F-7's were delivered in - 2011

- Our CH-3A's were delivered in - 2015

- Our Beechcraft ISR planes were delivered in -2015

- MI-17 terminator1SH helicopters - 2015

- Agusta A109 helicopters -2009

- MI-35M helicopters -2016

- MI-24/35 Helicopters -1999 - 2015

- ATR-42 ISR -2010

How the hell did you come up with the figure that the average age of our platforms is 20 years?
The platforms sent to Gambia are more than 20 years on the average . Actually the A109LUH raised that 'average' figure. It would have been 35 .

Nigeria is not second to anybody in Africa

We flew 6777 hours of combat sorties in support of Operation Lafiya Dole in 2016 without any form of incidence.

That's the figure for the North-East for 2016.

We also flew in the North-West, North-Central, South-South and South-East.

Nobody in Sub-Saharan Africa flew this much for a single operation. Nigeria's total figure is higher.

There are 30 combat videos released by the Air Force in 2016, all of these combat sorties showed a military with an unmatched professionalism.

Please, do not post comments on things you do not know.

Thank you.
Honestly we don't have the homegrown aerospace industry, indigenous local skills base and comprehensive suit of maintenance capabilities to rank higher than SA for now.

It is not the platforms, they are more than 20 years old on the average. It is not the firepower, we have seen much more. It is in the professionalism of the deployment. Nigeria is only second to SA in sheer operational competency.

If the man performed so well, there won't be extraordinary and desperate attempts at saving his reputation. Nobody argues Messi or Ronaldo in soccer in the context of whether they are bad footballers , it is rather who out of the two is No. 1.
