omenka: Typical.
Jonathan's admin was nothing but a free for all looting frenzy by the hawks in Abuja. He condoned, excused and promoted corruption within his household, cabinet and beyond. Depending on how big what you steal was, you stood a chance to be awarded a national honour and a presidential handshake thanking you for a job well done.
This info gives an insight into why defence contractors, people at the top of the food chain in the military, and some politicians would do virtually anything to ensure Boko Haram is never completely eliminated .
Only time will tell. The military top brass were buying old and refurbished weapons dating back to biafra-war era for a modern day Nigerian military while embezzling billions for personal use. The services chiefs were exploiting the culture of corruption engendered by GEJ government. Blame GEJ, PEJ and PDP for evils committed against Nigeria. |

Buharis is not silly to go any way near Ihejirika, the SS/SE are just waiting for any excuse or foolish move, no more Nigeria.
Ndiigbo have spoken their mind. Buhari should go near Ihiejirika first and see if he will have any say or be able to control wat happens next.
Have they prosecuted Biafra war criminals or compensated Biafrans? Are Buhari, Obj and Danjuma not Biafra war criminals, walking free and talking poo? U guys need to be taught a lesson about the folly of your ways.
The west wanted Buhari Presidency becos they know exactly how stu.pid, petty and easily misled he is and that ultimately by his error their will be war and Nigeria disintegrate.
No nation survives a second civil war. You are either running scared or are just bragging like Ojukwu did before the war but only to pick race and run to hide in Ivory Coast. There is nothing that you, the remnant of Biafra, which you are bragging about can do. It is a dead cause; dead, buried and decayed. |

Power has changed hands and Its no longer business as usual. Yet those same miscreants or militant thugs want to be paid monthly allowance to continue stealing oil, vandalize pipeline, degrade and pollute their own environment. Time for this no nonsense government to stop those payments and deal ruthlessly with those criminals. |

#ResourceControl is the way out! How can you claim ownership of resources found on Nigerian territorial land and sea? Go and read the Constitution, if can read. |

“Perhaps the Vice President-elect avoided the details so as not to expose the fact that the APC controlled Lagos state has both the highest external debt stock of $1,169, billion as well as the highest domestic debt stock of N278, 867 billion" - PDP.
It appears Olisa Metuh has got his figures all wrong! If entire national debt, both domestic and foreign, stands at $63 billion, how is possible that Lagos State has debt of $1,169 billion, which is 18.5 times national debt? Did this PDP man forget that electioneering is over?
It is also pointed out to PDP that APC will fulfill its promises, which PDP has ensured will be uphill tasks by bankrupting the country through corruption and looting of the treasury.
In any case, no in-coming governments anywhere fulfills all its campaign promises the very first month of assuming office. It takes time, which is compounded by the empty treasury being handed over.
It may take years unless there is a rapid recovery in the price of crude oil. No thanks to PDP and GEJ government. |

Maybe comparing your President-elect to a "carefree nomad" was not an insult to you but it portrayed you as lacking respect for not only your elders but symbol of national authority.
Unguarded mouth does no one credit. It's amazing what indiscipline some people display online and expect their opinions to be accepted, even with insults! |

Btw dis boko boys are definitely being funded from people at the top, the other time was bags of rice, oil, and other foodstuffs at their camp, and now foreign currencies on em. May the financiers be punished accordingly I think most of these financiers are foreign governments and agencies trying to destroy Nigeria or hamper her development. |

Ndeewonu: Many newspapers (especially Sun, because of its affiliation with IBB) have talked about Maryam Babangida as though she was a saint.
But: - Was Maryam responsible for Dele Giwa’s death?
- Did she really abandon her poor musician husband, Bongos Ikwue (the man who out of frustration, thereafter released the song – “WHAT’S GONNA BE, GONNA BE”), to marry influential IBB?
- Could it be nemesis that caught up with her?
Yes, they say, speak no evil of the dead, but the Truth must be told so the living do not tow the same evil path. Educate me if you know the story. This is to say you are peddling rumours. Dele Giwa was killed by a letter-bomb delivered by army intelligent officer. How did Maryam enter this dark world of alleged State-sponsored terrorism? |
