Foreign Affairs › Re: Iran Hits World's Largest Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal In Qatar by Adolak(m): 5:49am On Mar 19 |
VanuatuWycombe: The whole of livable land in Qatar is not up to Lagos State. Everywhere is pure desert and sand dunes. How many gas are they using in Qatar?
From time, Iran has always been independent of those other gulf countries. Iran is bigger and has natural resources enough to cater for its peoples only God knows why they are not getting it right.
Go and check world map, only Saudi Arabia has bigger landmass and, may be, Oman and they are 95% deserts. They import most things they need.
Qatars population as of today is less than 3.3 million. People In Alimosho in Lagos State are more than people in Qatar.
Those gases are for export to the western world, which Iran believes is her e n emy. Most of the shipping lines belong to the West. They will be grounded and this results into loss of money.
You are too low in logic. Iran is, indirectly, dealing with the west.
It is still cold in the West. How will they heat their homes, if they don’t have gases? After Winter, the West still needs gas to cook. There own gas pipe is fitted like water pipes to all houses. They don’t carry cylinders around the way we do in Nigeria.
So as Iran is taking hits from US and Israel and Qatar and co are helping Israel to intercept Iran’s missiles, Iran feels the best way is to inflict harms on her ene mies is to attack their source of livelihood. War is. It won my only kpaing people. War is won by incapacitating your enemies. It’s parts of what they teach them in war colleges all over the world. This is not a war of Ijaye.
If e reach your turn as a war general, always go after people and not go after what could bring your opponents to their kneels quickly. Ok? Why do you think the US sanctions countries? Sebi it’s to ground them and comply to what the US wants.
You can imagine how many generals boko boys have kpaied on our Nigerian army. Have they been able to ground our economy? No. They haven’t.
But look at a war tactic Nigerian government used on a 3,aib during civil war. Food supply to them was cut off and they started kpaing. Before you could know, they surrendered. You're wise. Most people here think that war is just about killing. War needs strategy. War is sometimes about the financial cost, not human loss. In war, you can't kill everyone. Look at Gaza, even after the years of destruction, it's still standing and people are still living there. |

If Nigeria tries it, big disaster will happen in the first week.

Malawian: Critical Thinking also needs to be taught. Examples of such questions should have been demonstrated during lectures. None of these ever happens.
There was this question we were asked in final year. The lecturer taught us the simple solution to this question (at most 6 lines). I didn't even know there was a "long form" solution to this question until the very morning of the exam. I happened to come across an old handout from a coursemate that morning, where the long form solution was written in. This long form solution (at least 20 lines) was not in the lecturer's official textbook which they made us buy.
Something prodded me to read and understand that very long form solution that very morning of our exams. Exams starts, guess question number 3 demanding the long form solution. A solution that was not even in his textbook and that was also when handouts were banned in our school. I wouldn't really want to drag matters. But lecturers can only give less than 10% in class. It is on the students to do more research and read wider on the said topic. That's what makes extraordinary students who they are. There are various channels now to expand knowledge on a topic being taught......not just relying on the lecturer's teachings or his textbooks. |

Malawian: Do you know the worst part of this test question? The lecturers did not teach it. In fact, they don't even know the answer and are merely waiting for the students to help them. This is critical thinking questions. Lectures don't have to teach everything. You as a student is supposed to apply what they teach to every other aspects of life. |

The same constituent she ignored and was busy visiting foreign media to make allegations with no evidence and crying to seek sympathy.
When her recall was made public, she ran back and started empowering her constituents and making all efforts to visit them even when he's asked to not keep rallies.
She will learn the hard way.
We're waiting for her to make more allegations. Recently she's adding more politicians to her hate-book You're just a noisemaker. You're not even from that constituency neither is this your noise a fact. She has always been empowering her people. So shut up. She's probably the best performing senator till she was suspended. |

Right from the time Fubara won to the time he pulled down the Rivers HOA meeting venue and all. The way I see it is this.. Fubara was part of a clique yeah?, they were the "men in charge" including the so called Wike loyalists he is now fighting. Then maybe from a fallout, he wants to get rid of all others and stamp himself as an authority in Rivers State. You know this cartel sorta thing.. those ones too won't give up easily na.. everyone protecting their own interest and the few coins entering their pockets. Did you know that Tinubu intervened and they drafted an agreement? Someone broke it. So diplomacy you mentioned didn't work. |

flokii: There are many ways for conflict resolution.. diplomacy is one very potent way with less damage done.
From reliable source, Wike actually brought the guy up and imposed him on Rivers PDP.. he didn't have the connections or that political sagacity to contest for Governorship seat in Rivers State, it's all thanks to Wike that he is on that seat he is in today.
Whatever might have caused the quarrel can be discussed in closed door roundtable meeting with royal fathers, youths representatives and elders in Rivers State present. Then they'll both have the floor to express their minds and say things from their various perspectives for those present to reconcile them.
It's only those who don't know what 'Federal might' is that will think Fubara can drag shoulder with his predecessor who is now in the Federal caucus. Yorubas are not like that o, don't know why Rivers people are happy taking sides while two of their leaders fight dirty. You're talking about diplomacy. InvertedHammer: / I beg to differ.
The question is: What is the structure of the examination?
It is difficult to study and train with modern equipment and be tested on archaic practices bordering on "cram and vomit". Many Nigerians who excelled in many professions abroad were initialed failed in Nigerian schools. Do you ever wonder why? Last time I checked, graduates from Nigerian universities are not world class. They need to update their curricula. Don't be surprised that it is the same exams that they used in the 1980s that they are still using in 2023.
Talk to doctors in your Teaching Hospitals about laparoscopic surgery or even common bronchoscopy, they will look at you like an alien.

I terminated a 6weeks old pregnancy because I didn’t want it Hmmmm I was being foolish and hopeless Now I’m so regretting my actions I feel so suicidal and the only way I can cope is by leaving it here. I’m such a selfish demon!!! The gentleman responsible for it accepted it with all his might and Love but because of the demon In me I went ahead to tamper and terminate my a month baby!! I feel sorry for my darling fiancé too cause I don’t deserve him!! He begged me to birth the child and give it to his mum but i vehemently refused !!
I don’t think I can ever recover from this life disastrous act!! My baby was suppose to be due by 28th November 2023 If you ask me why I did what I did I can’t even explain!!
God doesn’t make mistakes.. He knew I needed this child in my life because Apart from my Fiancé nobody cares about me and then he gave me this beautiful creature to love me and care for me and I had the nerve to discard it like a piece of thrash … Ahhhhh Lord have mercy on me !!
The painful part is I don’t even know if the abortion was successful cause the blood I saw wasn’t what the quack nurse that did it for me said!! Now I’m on a cross road whether the abortion was complete or whether I’m still expecting a damaged and disfigured child!!
Please don’t be like me Don’t follow my path I hope I recover from this and if I don’t so be it. Would you want to get pregnant again soon? Answer that question and you might get the clarity you seek. |
