Joyful Senator Dino Melaye, representing a Kogi constituency in the Senate Chambers, has released a video, blasting haters for a false certificate scandal report against him. On the front row of his blast is Sahara Reporters' CEO, Omoyele Sowore, who reported that the Nigerian Senator didn't graduate from Ahmadu Bello University as he claimed.

Sen. Dino who made a video after the Vice Chancellor of ABU appeared before Nigerian Senators, confirming that Dino graduated with a Third Class in 2000, disclosed that both those who
lie and speak the truth will die. He further disclosed, that he has chosen to speak the truth and die.

The senator has already dragged Sahara Reporters to court, in a N5bn defamation lawsuit.

Uriel who bagged an endorsement deal with Payporte after being evicted some weeks back, has launched her cooking show called "Cookout with Uriel", which is a platform for Uriel to connect with her fans by cooking for them and showing them love.

The event which was held yesterday, Saturday March 25th 2017, by Payporte on behalf of the ex-big brother naija housemate who has a great passion for cooking, had the CEO of Payporte in attendance.

Here's a throwback photo of Nigeria's favourite big brother naija housemate, Efe, during his Youth Service days. The housemate who didn't change so much served in Anambra State, and is also a graduate of Economics.

His fan shared the photo, to shut down the rumour that the Efe didn't go to school and how he can't get anything right. She went further to disclose that if staying in the big brother house is by speaking good English, Uriel and Gifty will still be in the house.

Tragedy struck in Onunwankwo village, Umuhuali community in Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, as a 29-year-old man, Ifeanyi Nwafor, who was digging the grave of an elderly woman, suddenly slumped an died.

Narrating the incident to newsmen, Mr. Nonso Ekuma, who is a member of the Youth Assembly in the area, disclosed the deceased who is from Azuegu village, participated in all the burial activities of the deceased woman, Madam Alioke Mgbanya, before his death.


“At dawn, Ifeanyi Nwafor participated in the digging of the grave for the burial of the old woman, and that was where he met his death.

“Nwafor had participated in the drinking episode of the wake keep till dawn, when they began to prepare the grave before the arrival of the Parish priest to bury the dead woman.

“When Nwafor got into the grave with a digger, he dug two times and on the third round could not bring down the digger, but slumped and died inside the grave" he said.
He further disclosed that all effort to revive late married driver and father of two, proved abortive, which includes warming his feet with fire. The deceased has however been buried at the Azuegu village Umuhuali.

An Ogun Statae landlady has landed in police net, after the army officers she invited to beat her tenant, left him dead after the assault.

This is coming after the story of the deceased, who was reportedly dumped in the streets of Ogun went viral.

Punch reports that an eyewitness alleged that the deceased’s landlady invited the soldiers after a misunderstanding ensued between them, over the two-month rent arrears the victim owed.

However, on arriving the scene of the incident at 10 Prince Jamiu Oyebade Street, Ogijo, the soldiers manhandled and brutalized the deceased, landing him in the Pillars Hospital, Ogijo.

He said; “The beating happened last week. It was the landlady of thevictim that invited the military from 174 Battalion just because of little misunderstanding.

The victim has been in the hospital since that last week before he finally gave up yesterday night. His family brought his body, dumped it at the front of the house for the landlady.”

The eyewitness further disclosed that the landlady, has been arrested by the police.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to narrate how he lost his phone to the brother of a girl he met on Tinder. According to the man, the incident happened in Jakande estate Lagos, and he was wise and smart to take a photo of the boy before he stole his phone.

"Lol...I met someone on tinder,one Gift Ezeh that invited me for a business talk.I have made a couple of good friends online but this babe's own was different.She posed as a lady with her businesses going and i introduced myself as a photographer.She sent me lots of pictures but i dint just catch her vibe.

Sometime in September 2016, Omoni Oboli was accused of copyright infringement for the Okafor's Law title she gave her movie, by a Canada based writer, Jude Idada. The nollywood actress Omoni Oboli was also accused of stealing his story and idea for her new movie "Okafor's Law."
Idada revealed this in an exclusive interview with TNS. He also stated that Oboli copied his idea for her directorial debut, "Being Mrs Elliott."

However, the actress/producer maintained her silence and went on to promote and allegedly set a release date for the movie for March 31st with the premiere today, even after a demand letter was sent, and the matter was taken to court for the copyright infringement and trademark violation.
Today, an injunction was gotten to prevent Okafor's Law premiere and also the release on the 31st of March, in the case in which Omoni Oboli, Dioni Visions & Filmone Distribution are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Defendants respectively. Omoni Oboli has however cancelled the premiere today, as she will be guilty of disregarding the order of the court and might be charged for contempt of court order.

A school principal has been left dead, after an 18-seater bus, conveying her and other principals going to the venue of their meeting in Kwale, Delta State, somersaulted this morning, between Oghara and Mosogar Ethiope west local government.


Other principals who survived the accident, sustained serious injuries and have been rushed down Delta state university teaching hospital, Oghara.

A family in Lagos State, was rendered homeless on Friday after a heavy wind that blew, took off the roof of the house. The incident which left sympathizers calling for an investigation of materials used in building the house, destroyed some properties too.

A member of the affected family, Bathlomew Goodluck Obodo, who shared the story on Facebook wrote;

The wife of Ooni of Ife, Sonia Itohan Wuraola Otiti, who is on a visit to the U.K with her husband, was spotted with a growing baby bump which was almost hidden in her white traditional outfit. A palace source who pleaded anonymity, alleged that the Ooni's wife showed signs of pregnancy before the U.K visit, as she reportedly added weight and has swollen feet.

With this, it seems the people of Ife will be expecting a royal child soon from the royal couple who got married on Saturday, March 12.

Hundreds of Hausas are reportedly leaving Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yorubas, following a communal clash that left many dead and hundreds injured.

It is alleged that commercial buses have already flooded the town to pick the fleeing Northerners, as some are taking Ilesa route, while others are taking Akure route where they could get direct vehicles to the North. The early hours clash of Thursday March 9, 2017 between the Hausas and Yorubas, was sparked by an altercation between a Yoruba man and an Hausa man. The fight reportedly left at least five people dead.

Dance queen, Kaffy, who slammed Nigerian singer, Davido, causing an uproar on social media, has disclosed that she has put the incident behind her because the singer allegedly begged her husband.

The October 206 outburst came after Davido dropped several dancers who trained and rehearsed for a concert with him, saying he no longer wanted them to perform with him at the last minute.

Kaffy who is married to Psquare’s official drummer, Joseph Ameh, said in her interview Punchng that;

“The issue wasn’t really about Davido alone. It is common with a lot of artistes who think that they are helping dancers by having them on stage with them.

Shocking new details about Tonto Dikeh's marital crisis has just hit the internet.

The news coming from Ghana police this time, says Tonto Dikeh, during a very violent fight at her husband, Churchill’s Trasaaco estate in Ghana, destroyed $15,000 worth of property and even waved a gun at one of Churchill’s bodyguards who tried to stop her from breaking the properties.

Reason for her act - Tonto said her husband was cheating on her. She allegedly brought petrol to burn down his house as well.

You recall, Tonto had just a few days ago, revealed in a tell-all interview that her baby's father and estranged husband Olakunle Churchill cheated and abused her while they were still together.

Asempa News in Ghana has released a video which shows a man identified as Supt. Joseph Oppong, Crime Officer at the Madina Divisional Police reading a statement allegedly written by Churchill during one of his fights with Tonto in Ghana.

Oppong says they received a call to Churchill’s Trasaaco estate in Ghana where they went in to find Tonto Dikeh in a rage, destroying items in the house because she claimed her husband was cheating on her.

Oppong said before they arrived, she had destroyed $15,000 worth of items and they had to restrain her adding that she had even waved a gun at one of Churchill’s bodyguards who tried to stop her from breaking the properties.

Payporte, the official sponsors of the Big Brother Naija show yesterday hosted disqualified housemate Kemen along with other evicted housemates, Uriel, Jon & Ese. You can see the pictures here if you missed it.

Payporte is right now receiving backlash by some upset Nigerians for hosting Kemen.

You recall Kemen was disqualified and evicted from the Big Brother house after he groped Tboss without her consent. Payporte released a statement when the incident happened condemning what Kemen did.

Kemen apologised for his action and asked Tboss for forgiveness, adding that he overplayed his
game.

However, Nigerians who believe Payporte is being irresponsible for hosting Kemen, despite his apology, and asking them to interact with him are speaking up on Twitter. See tweets below:
