Popular Yoruba actor, Yomi Fabiyi, in a chat with Saturday Beats, talked about marriage, his career of 20 years in the Nigerian movie industry and many other things. 

On how he started:
“This woman was what I would call my foremost fan. I used to patronise her small bukateria in those days. One day, she told me that each time I came to eat in her shop other people would like to come, too, just to listen to me talk. Then she advised me to find any of the outfits that produce films and join them.
“When I told her that it would be difficult for me to become an actor, she promised to sponsor me. Before then, a lot of people had tried to encourage me to join the movie people, but I didn’t listen to them until this woman spoke to me. I had to make up my mind.

“A relative of mine told me how I could find and hook up with a film production company around Ebute-Metta. I already had it in mind to approach two popular actors that were my favourites. So I searched for them. Fortunately, one of them, who happened to be Baba Suwe, accepted me. That was how my journey into the world of movies started.”
Becoming an apprentice to a popular actor:

 “In my position, it was not enough to be humble, committed, trustworthy and a hundred per cent loyal to my boss; I realised that I had to make a lot of sacrifice, too. In order to earn the approval of my boss and to move forward, I had to have these qualities. In addition, there must be proof that I had talent,” he said.
He continued:
 “I just had to endure. Some days I had very little food or nothing to eat. Sometimes, I had to depend on the kindness of a Hausa shopkeeper who allowed me to buy things on credit. And there were days when I slept outside because there was so much work to do. I didn’t dare to complain to my boss about my suffering. I didn’t have to bother him about food. He wasn’t my father, after all. He was doing me a favour because I came to learn about film acting and production from him,” he said.
On his parents thoughts about becoming an actor:
My father was not always around. But my mum was quite worried when she observed that I was coming home late some nights. One day, when she asked me where I had been, I told her that I went in search of my destiny,” he said.

On his marriage/divorce:

“We are still living apart. She insists that she will not settle in Nigeria,” he said.

“I have only initiated the idea of suing for a divorce. I am still considering that option, though. The only problem is that my wife has to be physically present in Nigeria to be served the divorce papers. But she has refused to come,” he said.

Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha a.k.a Igwe Tupac, whose famous 'shove it up your ass' dance is one Nigeria's favourite, has revealed how he was almost killed last year after a policeman shot him at close range in Asaba, Delta State.

The actor who had a chat with with TS Weekend recently, said:

 “This is something I really don’t want to talk about because I went through a whole lot. It all happened sometime in December 2015 at Asaba, Delta State. I was at an occasion when my phone rang and I stepped outside to take the call. As I was talking, I saw two guys standing by an Autobiography Range Rover. They were waving and hailing me. I realised they were my fans so after taking my call, I went to meet them and we exchanged pleasantries and then got talking.”

The actor continued: “One of the guys pointed at the white Range Rover and said ‘Igwe Tupac, this is my jeep. I just bought it. It is an Autobiography Range Rover. I am getting married in three days time. Igwe Tupac, what will it take for you to attend my wedding?’ I was like ‘congrats but we can’t talk here. Let us exchange numbers’. “While that was going on, a gun totting policeman came out of the compound and joined us. Probably he had been watching me all the while at the event. .

He barged into us and was like ‘oh boy, I like this guy’s film’. He was obviously a fan so I felt compelled to listen to him. He kept blabbing that he had all my films. At a point, I was beginning to get tired, so I stepped aside. But he came right after me and said ‘bros, na you I de talk to. Okay, let me throway one for you, to salute you. I be one of your biggest fans’.

“Before I knew it, he had cocked his gun and fired into the air. I almost went deaf from the gunshot. However, he was probably drunk and lost control of his rifle, which was in rapid mode. The guy who was getting married in three days time was hit in the ribs but he didn’t know. His friend was asking him, ‘were you shot?’ He said no but he was wrong! He had a bullet in the ribs and he died a shot while after. Sadly, that was the end of his marriage plans.”

Immediately he was shot, Igwe Tupac was rushed to the hospital and doctors extracted five bullets from his abdomen and another from his leg. After spending two months in intensive care, he was finally discharged. “It’s a miracle that I survived at all. It was by the sheer grace of God. Five bullets pierced my abdomen and another one hit my leg and yet I survived, but the guy who was getting married took one bullet and died. I have only God to thank for this new lease of my life. “These days when I see policemen bearing guns, I become wary and scared. Who wouldn’t be after going through what I went through? I have been to a couple of occasions lately and when I see gun totting cops around me, I become very cautious, sometimes even hostile. I just have to protect myself.”

IPOB's leader, Nnamdi Kanu has been pictured in a meeting in Owerri with some Igbo leaders over the November 18th Anambra state governorship election.

The Biafran leader who met with members of Ala Igbo International Foundation, are meeting to reach an agreement over his stand on no election in Anambra, and a peaceful way to resolve the issue.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu said there won't be any election in Anambra State until the Federal government calls for a referendum or allows creation of Biafra.

The alleged target of Ozubulu Church attack Aloysius Ikegwuonu a.k.a Bishop, has paid a visit to to the 22 injured victims  of the attack that claimed 13 lives including that of his father at their various hospitals. 

Police report claim that the attack on 6th August 2017 at St. Phillip’s Catholic church, Ofufe-Amakwa Ozubulu, Anambra state, was a gang war and they're working tirelessly to nab the perpetrators.

"My colleague was at Gbagada General hospital with his daughter on Sunday. They drove over a pile of rubbish, out of curiosity, he got out of his car to view the 'rubbish'. Following the attack St Phillips Catholic Church in Ozubulu has been subjected to after it was alleged that last Sunday's massacre in the church was a business deal gone wrong between two drug lords, one of whom had donated a building to the church, Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Rev Hilary Odili Okeke, has explained why the church does not investigate the source of income of those who give it offerings and donations.

Bishop Hillary Okeke said;

"If you get the information that the person is making his money through a dubious way in criminality, then you know what to do. It is not just a question of anybody who brings money or offers anything to the church, you go to the police and ask them to investigate this man’s source of wealth before you accept it. It is not done. If you do it, then even in the church we should not be accepting any money because evil people can come to church and give. It is God who knows if the person is giving the money from criminal or immoral source. God knows everybody and will reward the person accordingly. If you know that the person is a criminal that is when you now tell him, my man go and change.”he said

He also lashed out at some parishioners who have called for his resignation following the attack.

“They themselves will resign first. If they want me to resign, let them resign first. Let them resign. People just open their mouth and begin to say what they like and you should not listen to all that people say. If people who know everything will come out and bring any criminality upon the bishop, bishop will take action, the church will take action. Not that someone opens his mouth to say whatever he likes. They are free to say whatever they want to say.”

Nelson Mandela's granddaughter, Zoleka Mandela, has taken to Instagram to celebrate her 7th year of recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, which she turned to after she was sexually and physically abused as a child.

The South African's legend's granddaughter, who is now 37, further revealed that she took her first alcohol at age 9 and started smoking marijuana at age 13. Her drug addiction led her into experimenting with other drugs including cocaine.

However, she recovered from it all after she checked herself into a rehab when she was 30, and was finally able to break free of her addiction.

In her Instagram post, she further told other addicts that "addiction doesn't always have to end in death."

"Hi, I'm Zoleka Mandela and I'm an alcoholic addict. It's my 7th recovery birthday today, you guys ... 11th August 2017!!! I had my 1st drink at the age of 9 and had become an alcoholic 4yrs later. I first started smoking Marijuana at age 13, experimented with other drugs throughout my teenage years, until I discovered Cocaine at age 20 - which I was addicted to for 10yrs. Addiction doesn't always have to end in death - using drugs and alcohol to numb my feelings towards the sexual abuse and physical abuse of my childhood and teenage years, was a means to rid myself of the self blame and resentment. While on queue waiting for her turn to cast her vote for the candidate she likes in the general elections, a Kenyan lady, Paulina Chemanang reportedly gave birth to a baby girl. 

According to stood Paulina, she was okay when she left very early to the polling station in remote West Pokot country, she told local radio Capital FM. “I had no labour pains, and they just came as soon as I arrived here. I was not feeling anything since yesterday,” she said.

Shortly after she arrived, she went into labour, and, with the assistance of bystanders, gave birth to a baby girl while still at the polling station. After a trip to a local health clinic, she returned and cast her ballot.

“Now I am happy, because I have given birth and I have voted,” she told the radio station. “Having given birth at a polling station is a blessing to me and I thank God.”

Kenyans are voting in six elections, including a too-close-to-call race between President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is seeking a second term, and longtime opposition leader Raila Odinga.

A Nigerian Slay Queen and Facebook user, Emem Udoh, has taken to the platform to call out a fellow Slay Queen, Ekemini Maxwell who reportedly stole her shoe. 

According to Emem, Ekemini reportedly stole her shoe during her one of their friend's sister's traditional wedding and 'mistakenly' shared the photos on Facebook, not knowing she will see it. 

Here's what she wrote; 

'Pls gals who so ever dat knows Ekemini Maxwell should tell her to return my shoe dat she stole from me during Mabel sister's traditional marriage......she mistakenly posted it on Facebook yesterday not knowing that I'll see it'

However, Ekemini Maxwell who saw the post, wrote the disclaimer;

She just want to destroy my image because we had a misunderstanding.
i just need to throw this on air i haven't stolen from her.

Ekemini's disclaimer which infuriated Emem, made her disclose that she even confronted the suspect's mum over the shoe;

The wife of the sick Nigerian President who just spent 3 days in Nigeria in which she attended an annual August Meeting organised by the wife of the state governor, Nkechi Okorocha, reportedly returned to U.K on Sunday where she has been since July 4.

Toyin Aimakhu’s ex-husband, Adeniyi Johnson in an interview with Sunday scoop has revealed he has no issues with his estranged wife.

Here are excerpts from the interview with Johnson who is now linked to a Nollywood actress, Seyi Edun;

How did entertainment start for you?

It started for me about two decades ago when I started acting in church. My first major acting experience was when I was in secondary school and as students, we had to stage a play. But the person that was to play the lead role kept disappointing them as he didn’t bother to attend rehearsals. The teacher in charge of the drama group then said she needed someone else to play the role. A classmate of mine told her that I could do it because I was very funny and troublesome in school. That was how I was invited to take part in the play and I was able to do it well. After that episode, I became the happening guy in school and everybody wanted to associate with me. After I graduated, a friend informed me that some actors were shooting a movie close to where I was residing. I went there and took part in the audition. One of the producers, Ray Alechenu, took an interest in me and he told me to come for training. From there, I started acting in TV series and other productions.

What was the first movie you acted in?

The first Yoruba movie I acted in was Mo ta ka osi danu, and it was shot 11 years ago. It was produced by Lekan Ayinde and he was the one that brought me into the Yoruba movie industry. However, my breakthrough started when I delved into soap operas like Super Story and Family Ties, among others.

Entertainers are known to lead ostentatious lives, how do you avoid being caught in that web?

It’s not like acting isn’t a well-paid job. If it wasn’t, we wouldn’t be here because fame is not enough. The problem is that the expectation of people from actors is very high. But I will never live a fake life to impress anybody, and people who know me can testify to that. Meanwhile, if piracy can be curbed, actors would also fly private jets.

How much does it cost to make a proper movie?

It depends on how large the production is. Some could cost N5m or N10m. However in the industry now, people work more based on friendship and that reduces the cost. If you insist on charging what you think you’re worth, the producer would not be able to pay, because it would be difficult to recoup the money.

Do you belong to any association in the industry?

I belong to practically all the associations including AGN, TAMPAN, among others. I am a strong believer in this cause as I believe that it is only through entertainment that we can change the image of Nigeria for better.

What roles do these associations play in taking care of welfare of practitioners?

How much is in the purse of the association? Many actors are not faithful with payment of dues and levies, and that’s really the only way the associations can generate funds.

Is there any role you would love to play but haven’t?

I would like to play the role of a deaf and dumb person, and speak with sign language.

You usually play the role of a lover boy, is that your character off camera?



It’s a Nigerian thing that when you look good, you would play the role of a lover boy. At a point, I had to tell people that I enjoy playing a lover boy but I can do other things as well. Recently, I have acted as a tout, prisoner, slowpoke, and played diverse roles. Now, they don’t cast me as a lover boy alone. Off camera, I love everybody around me and love to put smiles on people’s faces. If that is love, then I’m a lover boy. I love women and you can even make that your headline. Am I supposed to hate them? However, loving isn’t necessarily about the opposite sex.

Do you feel pressured to hide your relationship from the public?

What I showcase to the world is my talent and I have the right to my privacy. That is why I don’t talk about my personal life.

What then prompted you to go public about your relationship with Seyi Edun?

I have said all I have to say about that on Instagram where I described her as a good friend and confidante.

What kind of woman do you like?

I like a woman that fears God and is hard-working. It is not about a pretty face and curvy shape; it is more about a woman who can pray together with you.

Does Seyi Edun fit that bill?

Why are you so particular about Seyi Edun? Why don’t you talk about other actresses that I have been linked to in the media? I don’t want to talk about my relationship.

Are you afraid that your relationship would be endangered if the public know about it?

Don’t people know about Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva? It is only if you want your relationship to be damaged that it will be. It is not necessary to put everything about your relationship out there. Some things are meant to be private.

Are you a spiritual person?

Yes, I am, and people who know me are aware of that. I have been a church boy from way back and I don’t joke with prayers; even Toyin Aimakhu can attest to it. Sometimes on set, I even organise vigils with spiritual colleagues like Woli Arole, Seyi Edun, among others.

Can you still work with Toyin Aimakhu?

Of course! There is no reason I cannot work with her. She is not my enemy and she didn’t kill anyone close to me. I have worked with her severally after our issue and the last time we were together on set was in 2016. We do whatever we have to do and go our separate ways.

You were recently given a car by Funke Akindele’s ex-husband, Kehinde Oloyede. What led to that?

It actually started as a joke. He was celebrating his birthday and he said he would give a car to whoever provides correct answers to some questions he would be asking on social media. I participated in it and I eventually won. I’m enjoying the car now and I am grateful to him.

What can you recall of your childhood?

I was born and brought up in Lagos and I’ve basically lived my whole life there. I wasn’t born with a silver or wooden spoon, but we didn’t have to beg anybody to eat. My childhood was pretty normal. When it was time to be stubborn, I was, and when it was time to read my books, I did.

What did you study in school?

I studied mass communication at the Ibadan Polytechnic. Later on, I went to the Lagos State University to study international relations. I have also undergone some training in acting. It is not really about what I studied in school, it is more about the inherent talent.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday condemned the Ozubulu Church attack in Anambra State by a yet to be identified gunmen.

In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President described the incident as “an appalling crime against humanity and unspeakable sacrilege.”

Buhari said there was no justification whatsoever to target church worshippers and kill them in cold blood. He said this kind of atrocity “plumbs the depth of depravity and extreme cruelty of the kind that words cannot adequately express.”

Punch reports that the President said, there is no religion that does not lay constant emphasis on the sanctity of life, and that “all Nigerians must rise up and speak with one voice against these remorseless evil men.”

While expressing sympathy with the families of the victims, the church leadership and the government of Anambra State, Buhari reassured all Nigerians of his administration’s firm and uncompromising commitment to protect their lives and property at all times.

Nigeria's former Minister of Aviation and PDP Chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode has also allegedly disclosed that he suspects government want to cover the truth in Ozubulu, Anambra attack that claimed many lives.

This is coming after the Governor of the State, Willie Obiano, visited the scene claiming intelligence report linked the shooting to an existing feud existing between some members of Umuezekwe Ofufe Amakwa community of Ozubulu living abroad.

Here's what FFK allegedly wrote;

"The horrific events in Ozubulu town in Anambra state that took place today are shocking and barbaric. Dozens of worshippers slaughtered in the Church and at the alter by unknown masked gunmen.

I do not buy the Fulani Commissioner of Police’s version of events. He finished his investigation in record time and just a few minutes after the event he told us that those behind the attack were Igbos that were involved in a communal struggle which has its roots in South Africa.

I smell a rat here and I suspect that the government is trying to cover up the truth.
Until they show me the evidence I remain skeptical about the Commissioner’s assertion.
I believe that the usual suspects are behind these killings and the fact that they were carried out in a Church just one day after the Hausa song that called for the mass murder of Igbos was released all over the north is relevant and noteworthy.

Anyone that doubts that should read the lyrics of that shameful song and hear what those it was written by instructed their people to do. This country has become ungovernable and I put the blame squarly on the shoulders of the Buhari/Osinbajo government who have encouraged this godless barbarity by refusing to arrest the Fulani herdsmen that have been butchering innocent people all over the country.

They have also refused to apprehend the Arewa youths who have openly threatened the Igbo with genocide if they don’t leave the north by Oct. 1st..
May God deliver Nigeria!"

Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu has also condemned the attack. In a statement through his Special Assistant, Peter Eze Kalu, the ex-Governor said;

“News of an armed attack on worshippers at St.Philips Catholic Church in Ozubulu in Anambra State hit me with a shock. As I send this, I still am unable to fathom the rationale behind such barbarism and clear wickedness.  It is very depressing and no reasons justify such act of terror. It is condemnable. It is wrong. It is uncalled for. We do not need further bloodshed in Nigeria. I urge the security agencies, Federal and state governments and all local security apparatus to ensure that those behind this barbaric act, and their sponsors, are exposed and made to face the full wrath of the law.  We can't continue like this. No one, no matter how highly placed, should get away with such acts. While I commiserate with families of victims of the attack and the Catholic Church in Anambra State,the state government and Nigeria at large, I also wish to call on all Nigerians to remain vigilant at all times and report suspicious movements around them to nearby vigilantes and Police".

Beautiful Nollywood actress, Nkiru Sylvanus who was once Governor Rochas Okorocha's Special Adviser, has taken to Instagram to share her thought on Nigeria and its problem. 

According to the actress, Nigeria's present problem was caused by past and present administration. Here's what she wrote;

Earlier today we brought you report of Ozubulu attack that left many worshippers dead, after gunmen stormed St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu in Anambra state.

However, social media report claim that the attack was a spillover of a drug related feud, between two Ozubulu brothers who live in South Africa.

The main matter was said to be between Chief Aloy Ikegwuonu a.k.a Bishop (rumored to be a drug baron), and another Ozubulu man popularly known as Obrocho.

It was gathered that the gunmen had traced him to his house, but were told he had gone to church where he was meant to hold a thanksgiving service.

According to reports, the battle had claimed some lives already over there in South Africa.

Nollywood veteran actress, Patience Ozokwor, who had a chat with Saturday Tribune, talked about some of her movie roles. The actress disclosed that she cries when she watch most roles she plays in a movie; 

“Sometimes, I cry when I watch some of the characters I had played in movies at home. I just thanked God it wasn’t the real me that was involved, but a character.
“Nearly all the movies where I played wicked roles made me cry because I remember what that character had done to somebody.
“I do these jobs to the best of ability because I want to sit down at home, watch and cry over what I’m doing to people.
“Two of the roles that caused me the most tears were: one role where I seized the feeding bottle of a month-old-baby and threw it away.
“I wept profusely after that scene that the director had to stop shooting until I was able to control myself. If someone had done it in real life, I would have exposed the fellow to the world to see.

“There was another one where I went to take my sister’s daughter from the village, what I did to the girl, if any human being can do it to a fellow human being, I don’t know what God would do to that person in turn. I met her in the kitchen, beat her so much that she fell down the stairs, rolled down and died from broken head and pains all over.
“I’d been playing wicked roles but those two movies are exceptionally horrible. I doubt that any human being would do that to anyone.”
On the  morality of her roles:

“When I play the role of a bad woman, I see myself at that instance as a mirror through which I want society to see and appreciate the fact that it is not good to be bad. This is the reason I do it with so much passion that it becomes almost believable. I also see such roles as an opportunity to minister to lost and wicked souls that jealousy, hatred, envy and all the likes can only bring one to ruins.”

Nigerian music Star, Yemi Alade, has reportedly ended her love affair with her Manager Taye Aliyu. Sources close to the star are saying the lovers ended their relationship, due to disagreements over money and jealousy issues.

A suspected 44-year-old lesbian, Olamide Joseph, has been arrested for reportedly raping a pregnant lady/Neighbour at Eniola Aderinlo close in Ipaja, Lagos where they reside. It was gathered that she also inserted a native charm into the victim’s private to terminate her pregnancy.

Olamide Joseph, who pleaded not guilty after she was arraigned before a Lagos court, was remanded in Prison custody. Her prosecutor told P.M.EXPRESS that that Olamide popularly called Ola, lured the victim who was pregnant to her house, forced her to the bed, inserted her fingers into her private part and fondled the victim's breast.

She was arrested after the victim reported the incident to the Police, who charged her before Ogba Magistrates court for the alleged offence.

The prosecutor, Mr Danny Raphael did not object to her bail but asked the court to give her bail condition that will enable the suspect come for trial.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs Davis Abegunde granted her bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.

She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till 14th of August, 2017.

36-year-old Grammy Award Winner and Gospel Artiste, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, has been facing backlash from the Christian community for featuring rap star, Nicki Minaj on her new album “Heart. Passion. Pursuit.” which will be released on August 25th.

Though many Gospel song lovers have taken to social media to disclose their disapproval of the song, while wondering why Tasha decided to feature the racy artiste on her “I’m Getting Ready" song, Tasha Cobbs whose “Break Every Chain,” was Billboards’ #1 song for a total of 12 weeks has however defended her decision.

A 2-hours thanksgiving service was held at Dolphin Senior Secondary School, Sura area of Lagos State, by Parents of six freed Epe pupils of the Lagos State Model College, Igbonla in which they shared testimonies. 

The pupils – Peter Jonah, Isiaq Rahmon, Adebayo George, Judah Agbausi, Pelumi Philips and Farouq Yusuf – were dropped in a creek in Ondo State last Friday after the kidnappers collected another N5m, were reunited with their parents after taken to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, for medical tests.

Punch reports that parents and relatives of the freed pupils thronged Dolphin Secondary School hall, thanking God for their safe return after 64 days in the kidnappers’ den.

Although the parents did not officially speak with journalists, they freely gave their testimonies.


One of them, Morufu Ramon, said, “My son said there was a time he called me with the mobile phone of one of the kidnappers, who forgot his phone and went somewhere. He wanted to ask me if they should escape, but I missed his call. I would have advised them to escape. “He said there was also a time the kidnappers went out for four days and left one person behind to look after them. He said the man slept off and they thought of escaping with his gun.”

Another parent, Beatrice Peter, said she was slapped by one of the kidnappers in one of the occasions, when they went to pay ransom.

She added that the kidnappers collected the money around Igbonla.

Following the success of her movie THE WEDDING PARTY, Nigerian Cinematographer, Kemi Adetiba, who had a chat with CNN’s “African Voices” where she shared some inspiring tales about herself and work ethics, revealed she knew the movie would be a success because of her approach towards making the movie. 

The greatest thing you can do for yourself is every time you have the opportunity to handle someone’s project, knock it out the park, and that is what I live by every day.
Kemi Adetiba also talked about her career, her next moves and why the series “King Women” is so important to her.

On why she decided on being behind the cameras: 

“I was questioning my longevity in front of the camera… I’d also find it intriguing when I would go off for shoots with the cameramen… I said: ‘Instead of just wasting a couple of years, how about I learn a new craft while I’m doing that? What is the thing that I want to learn now? What is the thing that will take my career to the next level? – being a director.’”
On her King Woman Project:


“The reason why I developed King Women is because I wanted women to see these role models of the earth, these women that we draw inspiration from that we put on pedestals, I wanted them to see them in their glory, but also understand that they have also gone through life, and life for them was not easy… People need to hear these stories, and I’m so grateful to everyone who gave me their time to make this series.”
On future and her upcoming projects,

 “I honestly do believe that winning an Oscar is going to come very soon, I’ve given myself two to five years.”

Nigerian celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, has dropped a hint on the kind of man she will love to marry. The 36-year-old blogger, who was asked if she has been getting proposals from suitors and qualities her kind of man must possess, said;

“I’m getting quite a lot of proposals. You know people say when a woman is successful, men run away, it’s a lie, that is when they chase you the more. But unfortunately, I haven’t seen what I’m looking for. To be honest, I keep telling people, it’s not like men are scarce, it’s the type of man some of us are looking for that is scarce, if I want to marry next year I can, but he would not be the kind of man I want.

I want a man that I can look up to, someone that inspires me, someone that would push me, someone that would motivate me, somebody that has had some success in his own career path, then I can look up to him and be like “wow”, a man that teaches me and I can learn from. I’m inspired by successful people, someone like Tyler Perry, I can’t wait to meet him.

I can’t marry a poor guy, I’m being honest about it, no I can’t, he doesn’t have to be very rich but let him be successful in his own way. You may come across some successful men but there is something wrong there, so the whole package is what I’m looking for.

When I was like 30-years old, my standards were very high, extremely high, but I wasn’t looking at marrying, I was just focused on work because I’ve always been so ambitious that I wasn’t focusing on marriage or kids. Tracy Ewurama Marcel and Ramatu, two Ghanaian nurses attached to Royal MMR Hospital have reportedly lost their jobs for ignoring patients to go live on Facebook while at work.

The nurses who were employed as health assistants at the hospital, claiming they had no knowledge that their conduct was against hospital rules, were sacked after their viral Facebook live video was shared by Ghanaian news publication, Adom FM, on their Facebook page.

Reacting to the viral video, the management of the Royal MMR Hospital, where the two nurses worked, said they were shocked and appalled by the fact the two nurses "choose to do Facebook Live while at work and responded to comments at the expense of patients waiting to seek health care".

Confirming the incident, Dr. Mohammed Donkor, told Adom News that the two had been fired by the management of the hospital, as their conduct was in breach of company regulations.
