I once went for a workshop at civic centre back in 2014, hosted by Basketmouth, sponsored by Jim Ovia's Visafone where he gave out free blackberry curve 7 devices, laptops and what have you to launch visafone's internet services.

The event had the likes of Jim himself, founders of Red Media, Bella Naija and other bigwigs present, splendid event by all standard, but what caught my attention was when Jim lauded Basketmouth for his achievements saying; "Basketmouth, i hear you are rich in naira, I will make you rich in dollars", and then, offered to give him more money for his hosting activties...

Basket jokingly but seriously asked Uncle Jim to start by giving him a plot of land in Ikoyi as payment for his services instead.

Now back to my point, of what use is this benz to this guy asides over-inflating the poor boy's ego please? 5 years (or even less) down the line, these boys for done sell all these cars finish with little or nothing to show for it, and that's even If it was truly bought, because anybody fit dey buy anything them want for social media these days. Lol!

Teniola Apata (Born December 23, 1993), better known as Teni the Nigerian Singer, songwriter and entertainer has endeared alot of hearts in the country with her unique vocal delivery, exuberant personality, and unconventional public persona.

The Ekiti-state viral sensation has shown she really means business with national hits; Askamaya, Case, Fargin & the recently released Uyo Meyo making waves and garnering rave reviews among music critics and lovers beyond the african continent.

The teenage sensation now signed to Dr Dolor entertainment music imprint was recently featured on Youtube Music's Trending Artistes On The Rise has picked up awards at The Headies, Nigerian Entertainment Awards & Soundcity MVP Awards last year, only one year after officially beginning her career in 2017.

The singer, reported to have earned a whooping N76,000,000 plus over last years festive season is also surprisingly the younger sister of ever-rising Nigerian Afrobeat songstress and diva Niniola Apata, simply known as Niniola.

One may be in doubt regarding their relationship, due to the contrast between physical features of both artistes; with Teni striking a bulkier frame compared to Niniola's more voluptuous appearance, their lack of facial resemblance, and an almost non-acknowledgement of their relationship in public.

However, we can not deny the fact that we have been blessed with two talented female artistes and sisters in this time and age, with both constantly maintaining their relevance in the Nigerian music industry and beyond, we only hope for the best to come, and a possibility of a massive collaboration between the two.
