His father's dad was from Sierra Leone. His dad Danny Wilson, a Rugby player for Wales.

His dad moved the family from Wales/Cardiff to play rugby in Manchester when Ryan Giggs was a little. That led to Giggs being spotted by an Alex Ferguson's football scout in the neighbourhood kids football club.

I still do not know why he changed his surname from Wilson (he was called that at birth) to Giggs of his mum's dad.

If a mixed race person married a white lady or white guy, their kids can soon appear all white.
