Buhari contested for 3 consecutive elections and failed. He failed not because there was no way to make him President but because average voters were content with PDP's rule. OBJ got more votes in the North than in the entire South, infact Northern votes made him President. Yaradua and GEJ defeated PMB with all the requisite votes' percentage required to make them winners.

However, prior to 2015 election the Boko Haram insurgency overwhelmed the North with bomb attacks in markets, mosques, Universities and tertiary institutions. The attacks were too much to the extent that Abuja wasn't at all safe; Police HQs, UN building, Motor parks, public and private places were on several occasions attacked and Govt couldn't do anything to stop the attacks.

Northerners including many PDP members entered alliance with Western Politicians in their quest to find someone who can save the North from those attacks because in all honesty GEJ couldn't do anything more. PMB became President and since his inception he has done very well in containing the threat of Boko Haram insurgency.

Shortly after banditry emanated and is another mayhem affecting people's daily activities. Though, there is no justification in killings but people are safer in the entire North with banditry than the BH insurgency during the previous administration.

The choice between PMB and GEJ should never be the cause of this absurdity, and these wailing has shown the level of civilization in some people's character!

Mocking Northerners with "Sai Baba" chant for just exercising their voting rights is a pure madness and a sign of excessive hate and poor knowledge of Democracy.
