simpleseyi: Umaru Dikko that ran to London in 1985, Buhari sent Israeli security to package him into crate and extradite him before some other hiding looters informed the London airport authority then, if not Umaru Dikko would have gotten something like 5000 years imprisonment. SO, if you know someone who knows Omokri, FFK, Doyin-okuigbe, AYo Fayose, Asari Dokubo, Edwin Clarke, Deizani Alisson-Maduekwe, Stella Oduah and other thieves, better advise them to as soon as Buhari is announced as President and C-in-C, the looters should just go and hand themselves over at the nearest police station. This may make Buhari to reduce their imprisonment to just 500 years instead of the expected 5,000 years imprisonment. If they try to run to oyinbo land, the people's General shall give them the Umaru Dikko treatment and when they are finally extradited back to Nigeria. Their expected 5,000 years imprisonment shall be increased to 10,000 years.
If you think that I am joking, ask Jim Nwobodo that sole money not enough to buy Peugeot (apology to our president), Buari gave him 201 years imprisonment. Now compare Deizani Alisson-Maduekwe that stole and is still stealing money that can buy executive jets, her sentence is 99,000 years imprisonment. Unfortunately a Nigerian Living in the US said this about our young people education and employment. NIGERIAN GRADUATES ARE SMART AND INTELLIGENT. UNFORTUNATELY THEY LACK A CAPACITY TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES THUS THEY COULD NEVER BE RELIED UPON AS PROBLEM SOLVERS. THEIR EDUCATION TRAINED THEM TO FOLLOW THE TREND THAT'S WHY THEY MAKE GOOD SUBORDINATES LIKE CLERKS AND ASSISTANTS THEY WERE NEVER GROOMED FOR LEADERSHIP. |

doctokwus: First point:all the elaborate and deliberate attempt to be seen by all the people Omokri claimed to have sighted him that day gives one an impression he was deliberately trying to create an alibi, while the deed was being done. Second point: That linda ikeji blog and so called naij blog are now way ahead of sahara reporters is childish tantrum best suited for the waste bin. SR may not totally be accurate in its reports, but it remains one of the topmost news sites out there with increasing patronage and access to topmost news. Reno Omokri is not even fit to be making any claims of factuality against a reliable medium like SR because he has been shown severally to be a serial liar and identity theft culprit. My brother fear God. You admit SR may not be accurate yet you agree they're reliable. How reliable are consistent inaccuracies aimed at character assassination? Who should be held responsible when the media gets it wrong? We're quick at pouring invectives at our opponents for their inaccuracies but what about the media? should we just pardon and overlook them because they published damaging lies against our opponent? Where should we draw the line between journalism and outright tyranny? While Omokiri may be who you all love to hate as the opposition, I believe he has a right to seek redress if he feels injured. SR should be more responsible for the information they publish. Media terrorism is worse than Boko Haram because consistent mass misinformation can only create a skewed ideology, and a skewed ideology gives birth to a skewed society. |

In the months to come Fayose and his hosts - Obanikoro, Momoh, Adesiyan, Chris Uba and so on, will have to answer in defense of their role in Ekiti and why they should be spared from going to prison. Na now you remember forensic evidence? why didn't you remember it when injustice Salami was negotiating the sale of election judgement to ACN? The MTN call logs nko? owobokiri: Unfortunately, you have approached the discuss from the pettiest angle. Go through what the guy said again and you will see where he is coming from. The former president of Yemen just before he was bombed mentioned this too, that most of these islamic extremist groups were created by some states to meet certain foreign policy goals. It is very possible that while shekau rants and raves against the US, the very AK hanging on his shoulder was supllied by an CIA agent through a rogue alhaji. There is an american base in Niger and Chad, the same with france. What are those for? God bless you. Any follower of US consular operations will understand what they could do to secure a strategic foreign policy initiative. Their authors write about it all the time. Read the works of Clancy, Ludlum and make the connection. CIA is the most sophisticated terror group in the world. |

You can ask your master how ebora owu's endorsement made him won the election in 2011. messpero90: u call a girl dat Beyonce feature in her song titled flawless an attention seeking girl ? i doubt if u will eva c omotola's shadow. Beyonce is a celebrity, what do celebrities do? they seek attention and popularity. Soyinka, Achebe et al are writers, What do writers do? they raise our consciousness for the evolution of our society through their work while totally identifying with that society and being an integra part of it. Celebrities are not meant to be writers while writers are not meant to be celebrities. But I cannot identify into which category Adichie falls. She's not a part of our society, she uses Nigeria to seek attention in her writing, She has no PVC she doesn't care yet she wants to comment on the election postponement and she goofed. Here's an Igbo woman who supports gays and was talking rubbish when the anti gay laws were signed citing Igbo culture. She just manages to jump into any controversial issue in Nigeria so that people will continue to noticed that she exists. Of course her position will have to conform with her American backers or else she won't be winning all those awards. Besides Omotola to me is and should be regarded than any imported American ideas of flawless. |

This is the best piece I've read for a long time. Our people are truly waking up. I strongly believe that in the next few years my generation will be completely emancipated from Americas mental slavery. We are beginning to see them for who they truly are. A Self righteous double standard people. Its amazing the cordial relationship that goes on between America and Saudi Arabia despite their established human rights abuse records. When it comes to Nigeria the US is clutching at straws to find an excuse to deny us the Aid to fight terrorism. They couldn't care less except of course for our elections. It is an open secret that Us has been trying to force a regime change in syria. They did it in Libya, Egypt, Afghanistan, Iraq, Those nations have ever been in turmoil and now Nigeria. The Obama Administration should concern itself more with the institutional racism eating into its law enforcement and public affairs rather than playing boss to others. Nigeria my country will be the next India, were getting there and the west don't like it. But we shall prevail. The Nigerian spirit is alive and willing to assist every honest effort just like we did Ebola. All men are created equal and I have the right to reject anyone who doesn't help me fight terrorist groups in my homeland, I make it clear to him he should not consider himself my friend and never expect my friendship. America my foot. |

Deeninetyseven: You don vex? At least, her status is able to change lives, to change people's views about things. Not everybody can put food on your table. While some are sent to preach the gospel, some are sent to serve the people and make lives better. Yes I agree with you her status is able to change people's views because she's a writer. But I have a right to reject her opinion, why? she has no moral locus to comment on Nigeria. She said it herself shes disinterested in what goes on here especially the electoral process. She only uses Nigeria's issues to gain attention whenever it pleases her. |

Nigeria will always stand with Israel. Arab neo colonialism is the agenda here. Install a Muslim president by all means, that's the plan just like in Egypt. A Muslim president to cut ties with Israel and become a puppet of the middle east. All jazzera just insulted me and all Nigerians all over the world. This is not journalism this is media terrorism, our people must respond to this or it will continue. Its only in Nigeria things like this are defended by Nigerians in the name of politics. They have insulted our highest office and insulted all Nigerians. This is not about politics its a national embarrassment. |

you want to talk about him staging a coup? he was a military man back then and that's what soldiers do. the shagari regime was a farce and the military had to do something to prevent nigeria from sinking into a bottömless pit. which other baggage?
his PTF program was the only time nigerian federal universities saw any sort of renovation since they were built. how can you compare this respectable man to GEJ that made MEND terrorists instant billionaires? tompolo & dokubo steal our oil everyday and all of you have been blindfolded by GEJ's endless stream of emotional büllshyte.
abeg, park well....... you justify a coup on a civilian government? A coup is the mother and father of all corruption. Imagine the collective mandates of all the people is set aside for the selfish interests of a few soldiers. If a coup happens today all our elected representatives from president to councillor will be sacked. what justification could warrant that? what is the impact on our socioeconomics? A coup plotter has no place in democracy coupled with the fact of being known to be ethno religiously biased. I say capital no. Egypt wanted change from Mubarack the ended up with the Muslim brotherhood. Lybia wanted away with Gaddafi where are they? Me I want Good luck after him Ribadu, and Fayemi, I want younger men in power that's the global trend. |

Shutting down the platform wont deter me from donating my salary for the party tomorrow. For the first time, a political party is doing the right thing in Nigeria- every member funding the party and not the other way round. As for you Mr DG, consider yourself fired by June 1. If you like donate your pension too it doesn't matter, The rules are the rules, they were not made so they can be set aside later. You preach change yet have no regard for existing codes of conduct. The PDP would seek to reverse the developmental projects of the APC if they ever win in Lagos. Just like Buhari and Tinubu would seek to do if ever they set foot on Aso Rock. |
