The US doesn't need allies, It needs vassals. GEJ realised this early on and shunned their Imperialist moves. That's why they strategically forced a regime change in Nigeria. They suddenly became interested in Nigerian affairs and even gave Jega an award for an election that had not even been concluded. I keep saying this, GMB is going to turn Nigeria to a US vassal state. Look at today's news, US TO ASSIST NIGERIA IN ECONOMY AND SECURITY. If we look at all the countries they are involved in, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Lybia, Afghanistan one common factor remains, WAR, CIVIL WAR. Unless something happens, unless GMB is not living on past glory and still has that strength of will we know him for the west will turn him into a puppet and NIGERIA will be another vassal state to the worlds no 1 oppressors.

I think we should be seeing threads that brings Nigeria together and not SS n SE alone. Maybe I don't understand what's happening but I think this divide us more than unifying us, and if it does, then its a shame.
No harm intended tho!
Threads that you seek about Nigeria is borne out of pure hypocrisy. Nigeria as it stands is a sham and people only sing the song ONE NIGERIA when it politically suits them so spare me. Before the general elections all manner of hate comments were flying from the dirty mouths of various political actors North and South. From Asari Dokubo to Junaid Mohammed. Asari says Nigeria will burn if Jona is voted out, Junaid Mohammed openly told Nigerians that the National conference is anti north, Buhari says an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north, Amaechi says APC will form a parallel govt if the elections are rigged, Buhari says Dogs and Baboons will soak in blood, Edwin Clark says the oil belongs more to the Niger Delta Indegenes and that if Jonah isn't good enough for Nigeria I aw oil is also not good enough. Akiolu says he will drown all Igbo in the lagoon. Kwankwaso says the South East doesn't deserve any additional state rather the north should be given two more. He also goes on to say that Almajiris were used to vote out Jonathan. And now that the elections are done and dusted, a set of people are now singing the hypocritical song of ONE NIGERIA, after the Yoruba have made it clear that they own APC and that the Easterners should not expect anything in this government. Such negative triumphalism from one side of their mouth and ONE NIGERIA from another side. Please sir take your ONE NIGERIA and shove it up your ass.

My statement is not insultive but borne out of perceived actions by the said person. Meanwhile my Rosicrucian beliefs have nothing to do with my political aversion. They are not even related. Secondly, my statement are just statements and nothing more. I have nothing against Fayose personally. However I do have reservations concerning his actions and behaviour as a leader. If my posts do annoy anyone however, then I retract them with my explanation.
Alright brother no sweat, I just like Fayose as a person even though I barely know him in that regard. My point is that in the variety and multiplicity of persons and opinions, some people actually admire him, myself included. I believe that deep within him he's actually not so bad.

Hmmm
so you mean Amorc is not a religion?
how do you communicate with God..?( Apart from Amorc, do you go to church)
My brother I'm purely Anglican I hardly miss church because AMORC has opened my eyes to the immense spiritual benefits of the sacraments and sentences. If you understand mysticism to the level that I do, then you'll begin to appreciate the often ignored elements of our religions and realise that the souls search for God is universal and atavistic. AMORC has brought me closer to the church. But apart from the church or mosque, communication with the supreme being is purely personal. You can do it exactly as you are, here and now. Nobody has to know, its just you and your God or Allah or any man made names.

For example, a simple basic experiment given to new Rosicrucians is the candle light experiment which is a members only exercise but I want to share parts of it to answer your question. The aim of the exercise is to train the mind to concentrate effectively, assimilate easily and to learn meditation.

Firstly get a candle stick and light it up
Sit close to the lighted candle just few metres away with your back flat on a chair and your feet on the ground.
Now gaze at the candle without blinking your eyes for as long as possible.
Do this until you lose your thoughts and the flame become the only thing on your mind.
When you feel you are tired or the need to stop just stop slowly and keep doing it for as long as you want until desired concentration is achieved.

This is a very simple exercise to improve your concentration. It can help you especially as a student who can't concentrate to read. It will help you master meditation. It will help you in many ways you cannot even begin to fathom. I am not supposed to be posting this but I feel people tend to criticise what they don't know. So here's an AMORC exercise for you. I hope you are satisfied.
You have no right to print this here. However some good might be achieved from it. Salutem Punctis Trianguli.

Those words you used to describe a sitting governor elected by hundreds of thousands of people is anything but Rosicrusian. You should know better about Destiny Karma and Fate and also have the humility to know that you have no right to classify a human being as "an unintelligent smudge" If you must talk about the order in a public forum such as this, don't taint it with a certain political bent or any form of intolerance.

PoliticsRe: Oba Of Lagos Should Apologise To Igbo People ‘without Delay’ – Falana by Aegon(m): 9:57pm On Apr 07, 2015
Toks2008:
How can i explain this?

Its not about candidature but a party thing.

APC is predominantly a lagos thing, strated right her in lAgos so its only natural for visitors to support such party.

Imagine yorubas living in the east openly showing support of APC and not APGA.

Anyone has the right to vote for anybody but the dogmatic and unreasonable approach of igbos in Lagos is frustrating, intimidating, nauseating and a slap on our face. Igbos should think deep
You got it wrong brother, that's politically incorrect to say APC is a Lagos thing. Are you saying that all other political parties should be abolished in Lagos regardless of candidature? APC should be allowed to do whatever they please and nobody has a right to a second opinion? In 2011 The ACN candidate Chris Ngige won the Senate sit in Anambra Central against Dora Akunyili of the PDP. did anybody complain? Well the APC is unpopular amongst the Igbo community. Fashola and his elitist policies is to blame and you all should spend more energy to dissuade people that Ambode has something new to offer rather than laying curses. The APC is busy shouting CHANGE, well the masses of Lagos are shouting Change too. On a second thought if the army stages a coup now, today saying that the federal govt is solely a PDP thing going by your logic how would APC feel? WAKE UP FOLKS, THIS IS A CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY. ELECTION IS A GAME OF NUMBERS. TRY AND WIN ON THE BALLOT CAST NOT ON THE THREAT OF AN DIRTY SMELLY LAGOON.

It takes two to tango.

Oba Akinolu may not be right on this but the attitude of our Igbo brothers and sisters could frustrate one.

Having helped them more than what their region has done for them, instead of being grateful; their actions seem to be undermining the essence of our existence through their incendiary statements. Calling their hosts cowards- what do you want after that-fight to show we are not cowards.

Oba Akinolu is their match and that is why the situation seems difficult now.

A gentle king could be disobeyed easily but did they say anything at the palace? No. They dare not.

It was after leaving the palace that chest beating, ultimatum , etc started surfacing.

Who then is the cowards? Ta lo fe gbenan woju ekun lai f'eje we ( who wants to put light at the face of a tiger without being bathed with blood)

Remember, 'He who makes peaceful resolution difficult , has made violence inevitable.'
Your bias is stinking to high heavens. What violence are you talking about? Was there a conflict to be resolved? I don't get your logic. Don't people have a right to openly support a candidate of their choice? Is the said candidate not a full blodded Yoruba Lagos son of the soil? IGBOS WANT TO VOTE FOR A YORUBA MAN AND IT'S CAUSING TROUBLE FOR THEM. I tire for this Nigeria.

GEJ is being celebrated at the moment.

But the true celebration of this great man shall be in about 18months after Nigerians would have seen and experienced APC in its entirety.

Until then, GEJ remains Africa's greatest statesperson alive. This is something Buhari couldn't be and can never be.
Buhari could still hit the heights, even though I never was his supporter, he has shown extreme decorum as a man with intrinsic value. Yar'Adua of blessed memory was also such a man. These fulanis are blessed with such people in abundance. Unlike one attention seeking letter writing out of relevance election rigger somewhere who tore his party card openly to gain attention. The same party that rescued him from prison and made him President. The joke is totally on him.

I sincerely agree with you. The east fought alongside their brothers in the south-south and lost. And if repeated, they'll still stand beside Goodluck Jonathan. They didn't do it because Jonathan was theirs(no,he's south south),they didn't do it because he favoured them in appointments(no,he spread his appointment across board),they didn't do it because he did more work in the east(no,rather he failed in many areas). The south east voted him because they rejected APC in its entireity.
As for the post of the senate president, its actually the rest of the nation(especially the yorubas) that make them feel like they lost so much in the senate president seat,as for the igbos, they don't really care that much.
I'll advice that the igbos should just chill, take the back seat for the next four years, believe me,once they do that, they'll become the hot bride the PDP and even the APC will court preciously to win in 2019.
And on a last note, let all igbos join hands and vote out the last trace of APC(rochas okorocha) from Imo state. Let them make igbo land a strong hold of PDP. Let Igbo play opposition than decamping and scattering. The south west played opposition for many years and they didn't die. Let's just discard the immediate rewards of this new government and plan for the future.
Selah.
On the contrary Playing opposition will actually help the east. The west did it for years and they didn't die, in fact they came out stronger. Playing opposition didn't prevent the industrial boom in Lagos and Ogun, Playing opposition won't prevent Innoson from manufacturing automobiles, it would reduce our dependence and distraction from Abuja Interference. How has David Marks senate presidency for 8 whole years helped the average Benue man? Nigeria is rapidly changing and productivity is gradually being rewarded, The era if free money is winding down because of the global economic situation. Not having the senate President won't prevent Aba shoemakers from Exporting 1 million pairs a year. Its time we easterners avoid outside distractions and thoroughly look inward and solve our internal politics before building political bridges with the other regions.

I remember him saying Boko Haram insurgency will end two weeks into his tenure. I totally expect that because the President elect is a fellow extremist muslim. They even nominated him to negotiate for them being himself a strong proponent of Sharia. However every bomb blast every suicide bombing every single displaced individual in Borno Yobe and Adamawa is on his head starting May 29. Every oil pipeline vandalized every gas pipeline destroyed every barrel of stolen crude every kidnapped oil worker every oil facility bombing starting may 29 is on him. Jonathan couldn't secure the lives of people in the north he was totally clueless he even hated the north. Nobody remembered that the National security adviser and minister of defence were northerners. The northern elders promised to make nigeria ungovernable for Jonathan, and they succeeded. Trust me the euphoria will die off give it 6 months, The challenges will soon kick in from the creeks, Let us see how CLUEFULL Buhari gets.
