Good day gurus in the house, I need clarification on this issue. If someone is applying for visitor's Visa for vacation purpose as a company owner, is it compulsory to also include Tax Clearance as part of supporting documents ?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by aekmanweb(m): 5:15pm On Apr 24, 2023
Good morning gurus and happy Sunday to everyone, I need advise frm you all. I am abt to apply for UK tourist Visa, been denied over 12yrs ago and never tried applying again but I have visited couple places afterwards like SA, UAE & Turkey. I own an Automobile company and coy is registered & active on CAC. I planned to use my personal statement with the application instead of the company acct. Does using the personal SoA a good idea ? Moreso, I need guide on how to submit my application online, with keep my passport option. Is it after the Visa is approved that they would request for passport to be submitted?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by aekmanweb(m): 5:03pm On Apr 24, 2023
No, wasn't done by any agent, am a DIY frm time. No online application then though still same None appearance. Can you guide on how to start with the application now.
leef2022:

That's what we call, self-imposed ban. To say the least you have now toured 3 different continents!

12 years ago I would think applications were done online, therefore, I imagine you have experience on about that and how to do that and not need a guide, or was that done by an agent?

Well said. Pls let's have the email for others to also benefit.

Kel.

Let stop confusing ourselves with plenty grammar. We are all learned.

What is review , what is appeal?
To review, to re consider.
To appeal, to plead to change an initial decision.

We are speaking same English.

I had to consult the dictionary, we have too many brilliant people here grin

Appeal
In law, an appeal is the process in which cases are reviewed by a higher authority, where parties request a formal change to an official decision. Appeals function both as a process for error correction as well as a process of clarifying and interpreting law. [Wikipedia]

To cut the long story short, the exact mail for which your staff got the change in decision( I believe he or she must have been notified viz -viz mail),Could you be nice to give it to the concerned person privately?

Your contributions are highly valued.

Gracias.

Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by aekmanweb(m): 5:21pm On Apr 18, 2023
Thank you, do you have an idea how long the appeal would take?

hunee:

You may appeal against the decision to refuse a visa to the Deputy Director of visa, BP 83609, 44036 Nantes cedex 1, within thirty days from the date of the present notification. Filing an appeal before the Deputy Director of visas is a mandatory pre-condition to appeal against the decision.

Regards,

Visa Dpt

France no longer acknowledges appeals by emails. Please be duly notified.

If you are in doubts, you can clear by sending mails to the attached addresses you posted.

You will get the same responses i attached, i inquired for someone too recently.

Hmmm......I could remember vividly, I asked that question here if I could also go on tour after the seminar and someone and someone said yes. So, what's do you suggest, should I appeal or not ??
Africankel:

This is where your problem is. Don't mix business with pleasure. If you say you are going for a work related conference or seminar, stick to it and avoid unnecessary distractions.

Good morning guys, just got a refusal note for my Visa application this morning and the actual reason says: "Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided". Whereas I provided everything. My purpose is to attend a seminar. Kindly enlighten me if I should appeal this decision.

Hi guys, pls I need link to start online submission of application. Also, as a business owner, what weight does submission of a business acct has over just using only a personal account which is properly operated.

This phone number (0815 018 8800) on their website is never reachable. Is it possible to visit their Lagos office because i've been sending emails since last week and its yet to be resolved.
