the reason is clearly stated only people in Canada can apply for you. You can use third party apps like GCMS buddy , get gcms etc

Bro, the asylum claim isn't related to the refusal. First, Canada is actively working to reduce the number of temporary residents. Second, based on my experience with applications, the gap between his opening and closing balance raises questions. If he can't explain how he accumulated those funds, it might be assumed that the money was simply deposited for travel purposes. Also, did he provide a convincing reason for visiting Canada? And what were his home ties? I'm not advocating for false asylum claims; I'm just saying that linking his refusal to that claim isn’t entirely accurate. Just my two cents though

I ticked Homemaker in the employment section since she is a stay-at-home-mum and won't like to use the unemployed option.
The challenge now is that, employment letter is to be uploaded in the document section.
How do I go about this? Do they expect a homemaker to be employed? Since it is another name for housewife

Seems it's the only TRV Canada issues now. The days of tourist and conference visit visa are beginning to expire gradually.

please i am in this same situation, but i thought my parents don’t have to pay transmission fees as they did their biometrics in the lagos vfs

But they will pay for dhl and return of passport

Walk into any DHL or UPS store, you can google & check for the one's near you.

Documents to go with to the DHL Office:

- Two photocopies of your international passport data page
- Your International passport itself
- passport request letter
- Biometric confirmation slip (the document you were given after u did your Biometrics)
-Two copies of signed VFS consent forms

Put everything in a Big Brown Envelope,

Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly

When you go to DHL, also indicate that you want a two way courier service. Then provide them the address you want your passport sent to when ready.

Yes, I understand and agree. So, since I used an agent, I cannot apply for a GCMS, not myself? I have the details used for the application as the agent already gave me access to view the application. The reason I want to request the note is because I have applied since Nov last year, so I want to know the detailed update on the application. Kindly assist with the website you used. thanks

In my own case i stated by twice refusal of TRV to Canada but i gave wrong years( which was not necessary) i wrote 2019 and 2022 instead 2019 and 2021. I hope they wont feel i lied by i declared i was denied it only the years i was wrong about . house hope i am not in soup already

Good evening gurus in the house, my brother’s application to Canada was refused last week. Refusal letter states he wasn’t honest with his answer because he didn’t declare previous refusal to other countries. He was denied visa to the USA before but we forgot to include it in his Canada application. My question now is, can we appeal and explain it was an error on our path? Does anyone know how to start appeal on irrc website?

Good Evening House, my wife and son submitted their passport for stamping on the 28th August 2024, by 30th we got a mail that the passport with the tracking number belonging to my wife is ready for pickup, while my son tracking number is still showing that, it is under processing at IRCC office. my wife already collected her passport, ticket has been booked and since then no updated on my son's passport.
please i need advice on what to do.

It seems they don't require it again since the old one is still valid,

My fear is that hope it won't affect the duration of my visa?
Does it mean

Does it also means we that those that has filed their application before the cancellation can still convert visit to work visa?

Wow!! Nice to join here. Read a few pages and I love the contributions from one particular handle (can't remember your handle right now).

I have so many questions. So many questions. And so many questions. However, I'll start with the ones important to my survival.

I've been on this journey for some time (3 years). Initially planned it with a lady I met here on NL, before she had other plans. I'm a student, though in my early 30s, but that's not a bother.

First question - How easy is it to get a citizenship by marriage? In order words, are the indigenes (Blacks and White) open to relationships with Nigerians? I pray God shouldn't bring a Nigerian lady near me ever!!

Secondly, I'm into Tech/I.T and I'm also very physical (strength dey body to do physical work), I drive too by the way. I'm aware I can't work more than 24hrs a week, does that include those sides gigs and online jobs?

Nice to be part of this community. By God's grace, I'd be in Niagara soon.

Hi everyone, I have a question; I guess our bosses @salford, @megastu, @ednut, among others will be able to draw from their experiences and share helpful insights.
So I was on a call with a friend who works as a Senior Business Analyst for a Big Pharma, and we were discussing about how attainable a salary threshold of 200kcad per annum is. I even whimsically chipped in the case of a family friend who works as a Director of Strategy for PWC and how I’m certain she earns way more than that. I was shocked when my statement was returned with a hysterical laughter and how that threshold is almost a pipe dream in Canada. Bottom line is he claimed people who earn that in Canada can be literally counted with your fingers and how he has never met anyone who earns that high in his 10-year career.

I’d like to ask if what he said is true; how attainable is the 200k salary threshold? All comments are welcome.
