Emmafe: The memo release in Jan that lead to this massive ppr for visitor’s application. Ircc had over 650k+ visitor visa in der inventory, the plan was to process either 190k or 450k applications to reduce backlogs. That’s why you see visit visa following the same pattern n ppr everywhere. I apperciate ircc approach but the problem is majority of people getting vv now believe with visitor visa they can live in canada and convert easily but it not that easy and l just hope people will be more enlighted before landing in canada.l have been contacted by old friends, family and neighours on their coming on vv and how to found work but l have no tatics on this matter |

Ruskov: Why have interest in It since it's "so called"? How about working out on one yourself? You'd do well to make your things and your mark yourself, you forgotten, you have a brain too. Since it's "so called", there is no point the futile mention, sort yourself out.
Err , even better nbv1 and the other Okoro(orjohn24, who happen to be the same person ) are both selling LmIA for $28,000 cad , why are you scared of approaching them ? You want to give a mention to sound like someone without his head , and you anticipate a proper response? What kind of crack are you smoking ? Guy ,my friend went to pick his passport at vfs trying since last week over 200 people dialy at vfs lagos to pick canada visa ,this has never happen before to have this huge number with canada visa approval rate and majority are vv ..planning to live in canada on vv ...please plan urself well becos the numbers are huge competing for same limited lmia that is extremely hard now..l wish you all the best ..canada visa then don pure water and very easy so many agent cashing out on it, na how to get work permit the struggle go dey when they arrive canada!wish u all d best! |

myaccajourney: And the woman told you she is even seeking for visiting visa in the first place? Or should we also dig out your personal information and use that to advise you and it'll be cool? I read all the back and forths and its disgusting that we can't debate without cussing out.
The positives and negatives like you said is what makes NL travel thread a beautiful place. Not being people cussed out for saying their opinion. Everyone's experience is valid It so sad sometine we read with a bias mind, if you read the previous writer,he or she make a bold of a part of a letter and make reference then give advice based on it ,it does not mean he agree with the writer or the whole part of the letter he quoted.let stop unneeccsary agrument and asking him about the lady plan is like draging into the whole arugment which is not neeccessary.let peace rain and let all share their point, questions and experience without a biased mind but with respect and peace without insult..God bless |

Ruskov: Visit visas are somewhat easy @Emmafe Said it all, just for a Wrap up...
Make sure :
- You have a job to fall back to for the sakes of pay slips etc, leave Letter when you applying etc, Job background. (Visa officers wonna see this) - Make sure you have substantial amount in the bank account. That 2 million naira will go a long way if you keep it and learn to process most of these things yourself. - Travel history (Your best bet is to start with Visa free countries, travel during weekends , then visa on arrival countries during your leave) - Get the inviting party to send you a letter when applying in order to make your application bullet proof. If you not invited by a Company, you can still go on normal tourism to Canada just make sure you have a valid reason to put in the column where they asked you to fill the reason you coming to visit them. - If you have a small business, Include the CAC certificate.
Now Gods grace, you have the visa. The next thing you have to do is secure a Job (This is the hard part, usually done when inside Canada) You have to go on several websites and search for jobs (In your field) that gives LMIA. You said you have not seen, but most Indian people I have discussed with, convert in that way, Or they create companies in Canada and Apply for work permits later on. You can set up a business once you have the available funds , then you in business, else, tailor your Resume to be real standard and let them know you have the full experience in that field, that way you can get hired. Just make sure you do the following :
- Your CV / Resume has to be Canadian Standard Resume - You check if your Skillset falls in an available NOC / Province
Watch some Youtube videos to see how to tailor a Canadian Standard Resume.
If it does work and you get Hired, Congratulations, God did it, Now start working towards converting your Visit visa (TRV) to Work Permit. This part you have to understand how to Do something Called "Flag Polling". Either go to US / Canada Border at British Colombia, Queens or Niagra Falls. You have to be rejected by the US Border controls and be given a paper to Apply to the Canadian Immigration for Flag Polling , Dont worry they understand Haha...
Question for number 3 and 4, No one can guarantee this, as it solely depends on the request of the company and the vacancy requirements required. Secondly it depends on your brother as a Forecast is almost an impossibility, people migrate to Canada on a daily. Places like Scarborough has tons of Indians and Pakistanis who migrate there in droves on a daily. Before they close their doors come 2025, i suggest you do more of applying than asking questions like these. Time would come , migrating to Australia and Canada would be far worse than what is obtainable present day.
This is how Far I can go, The rest you can make indepth research on it and settle with it. Good Luck! However, it is true that many Indians have successfully established businesses and franchises in Canada, which gives them an advantage in the job process, particularly when it comes to LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment). Indians often possess significant economic and business power in Canada, which can positively influence their employment prospects. On the other hand, Nigerians may face certain challenges in terms of their economic business power in Canada, which could impact their job opportunities, especially in relation to the LMIA process. It's important to note that there may be scams associated with LMIA matters. I would strongly advise being cautious and vigilant to avoid falling victim to any LMIA scams. Ensure that you thoroughly research and verify any offers or claims related to LMIA, and do not make any payments. It's always recommended to tailor your resume to highlight your relevant skills and experiences in a standardized manner when applying for jobs. By showcasing your expertise and qualifications, you can increase your chances of getting hired, regardless of the economic business power certain communities may hold. And on a final note, have a backup plan as LMIA is not guaranteed, and finding a job may not be easy for everyone. Some students arrive and waiting for over four months in canada without securing a job, even though they have a work permit. Be cautious and don't let any agent deceive you. |

Maria96: your old posts says you are a PR in Canada. You should know to be honest. If the person doesn’t have who to stay with he or she needs to come with funds for airbnb/room share , feeding and other bills. A modest person will spend around 1200 to 1800 cad a month. Well as a pr in canada myself...is this same as a person with tourist visa planning to live in canada on a tourist visa...many people havd contacted me in recent days asking me this question so l put it online because l have no answer and you have not answer the question,a person with tourist visa ,how will he or she work to pay all this bill you mentioned, where and how to work and pay bills on tourist visa in canada...how will a tourist holder become modest and earn money Thank u |

A group representing 150 of Canada's fastest growing and most promising technology companies wants the federal government to pilot a new visa stream allowing high-skilled tech workers to enter the country without a job offer. "There's over 200,000 positions in the tech space that are not being filled in Canada," said Benjamin Bergen, the council's president. On Tuesday, Facebook owner Meta announced it would hire 2,500 over the next five years with many working remotely. |
