Because I don't agree with the concept of them and their. It is not the Fulani or any other tribe that I defend. It is against ethnic profiling in general. We Africans are dark minded; ever ready to childishly blame "the other"; and we have to change that. The colonials divided and ruled us, we are now dividing ourselves and keeping ourselves in the stone age. That is what most people with a herd mentality fail to understand. Yes, there are kidnappers, bandits, rapists and armed robbers who are Fulani. Just like there are kidnappers, bandits, rapists and armed robbers among the Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and other tribes. ALL members of a tribe cannot be kidnappers, drug smugglers, skull miners or thieves; and that goes for any tribe. I'm a pan Africanist. I do not even recognize tribes. If that makes me a terrorist sympathiser, collaborator, apologist, then so be it. I am not a cow. I do what I think is right, not what the rest of the herd is doing. To me, the ethnicity of a criminal is not a factor in his commitance of a crime. You told me what your opinion was concerning the Seriki's complicity, I told you mine. If you think there is a flaw in my opinion, you are free to dispute it as many have.

I get the whole ethnic profiling thing. I agree, it's very bad, but it would be very difficult for Nigerians (southerners especially) to stop the ethnic profiling of the fulanis because they seem to be in almost every state wrecking havoc. And the so called "innocent" ones amongst them never speak out against the bad ones or report them to relevant authorities.
Yes they are bad eggs in every tribe, but we hardly hear of them committing crimes in other states. Have you ever heard of Benin person going to Kano to rape women, or a Calabar man going to Katsina to kidnap.....guess your answer would be no. And we always hear southern leaders speak against vices carried out by southern youths. This is not the case with Northern leaders....why

I defend all from ethnic profiling equally. Take it or leave it.

You always defend them, but you have never spoken against all the atrocities committed by them. Or do you think that majority of southerners that are speaking against them them are doing just so they could be part of a "bandwagon"
