Donnie Darko A very interesting watch. Kept me glued to my screen. One of those movies that totally captures the attention of the viewer. The movie follows Donnie Darko, played by younger Jake Gyleenhaal, who was amazing as usual, as he somehow gets intertwined between two multiverses. In one of the multiverses, he dies, which in turn saves the lives of his mom and girlfriend. In the other, he lives and that leads to the death of his mom and girlfriend. In the end, he made a decision on which of the multiverses should actually exist. The movie is one of those mind Fu*k movies that might leave more questions than answers at the end. It also ends in such a way that it’s open to various interpretations, each of which could be said to be right. Like a sort of paradox. If you haven’t seen this, you’d better. It would be totally worth it.

Arrewa:Lol, is it in the same north that Deborah, a northern Christain was brutally murdered and burnt for “blasphemy”?Is it that same north? Something as horrendous as that happened and the so called united Northerners defended the barbaric act. I’m a Muslim, a very devout one, but I would be scared to give contrary notions on matters of religion and politics in the midst of northern Muslim. I know any wrong word/sentence can lead to my instant death. You talk like it’s not the same north that there are divisions even within Muslims. They’ve been countless conflicts amongst these divisions that has lead to senseless loss of life and property. True, the south is not all united. But don’t come here to paint a false picture of northern unity. The only unity y’all have is the unity to hold on to power no matter the cost. If the north is as united as you say, why haven’t you been able to stop Boko haram and other terrorist group. They are only a small number compared to the population of the northerners. A vigilante was even killed some days ago for same “blasphemy” in your so called united north. The problem you people have is that you don’t like telling yourselves the truth. |
donjazet:He said the truth, bros. See Deborah, we’ve all forgotten about her. From tomorrow, this will be old news. We have been talking too much. |
[img][/img] pocohantas:She gave a really bad performance in court though. Everybody could see through her. |
AnfieldFan:Giving me "everything everywhere all at once" vibes. |
Curious case of Benjamin Button 7/10 Good movie. Some might consider it to be paced slowly, but I’m used to watching movies like that, so I didn’t pay mind to that. Brad Pitt did very well in playing the role of a baby in a old man’s body. Cate blanchett was okay. Bits of comedy was sprinkled here and there in the movie. Movie even thought me a lesson; We should live our youthful age to the fullest, not recklessly, so regrets can be avoid when we grow old. We are left with our memories at old age, and those memories should be worth remembering.

Anny505:For real guy. Hardy was top notch in that movie. Hardy really knows how to play disgruntled characters. |
DandeNumeruno:I wonder how much she was paid to expose herself like that ![]() |
Ray Liotta, star of the goodfellas just passed on at the age of 67. May his soul Rest In Peace

abduleez1:No be Lea seydoux be this? She be lesbian? |
Calibrator:What’s the title, please? |
Dotng:I don’t know about him reminding me of Jack Sparrow. What I do know of is his premium performance. To think he did so without talking through most of the movie. |
DandeNumeruno:Granted, Tom Hardy mumbled through out the movie. I don’t think he said up to five lines, but whenever he’s on screen, he steals the scene. That says a lot. He wasn’t meant to much in the movie. Charlize Theron was great as well, but I prefer Hardy’s performance to hers. His was more memorable to me. I have to disagree with you again on Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. I still maintain that she was great in that role. |
siofra:what if it’s true I don’t see any crime here. She is a masseuse, so it’s normal for Elon not to be covered up(though is genitals were covered. So no claim of indecent exposure can be made). He made her a offer, she refused, he paid her to keep shut about the offer he made, she accepted. so what ![]() |
DandeNumeruno:But Tom hardy was great in Mad max. I might agree with you on Margot in Wolf of Wall Street, but not on Birds of Prey. She was top notch in that movie. |
Some of the best performances I have seen from actors/actresses in a movie. Performances so good it feels they were actually showing off. lol. 1.Leonardo DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street 2.Jake Gynehaal in Ambulance 3.Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump 4.Anne Hathaway in Les miserables 5.Christain Bale in American Psycho and American hustle 6. DENZEL WASHINGTON in Training Day!!! 7.Margot Robbie in Wolf of Wall Street and Birds of prey 8.HEATH LEDGER in dark knight 9.Edward Norton in Primal fear 10.Russel Cronwe in A beautiful mind 11.Tom Hardy in Mad max Fury Modified 12.Tom Hardy in the Revenant. PS:They are not arranged in accordance of how good the performances were.

Babaheekmat:No guy. Tom Holland is a great Spider-Man. I think he acted the role really well. The final installment just wasn’t as great as they advertised it to be. The first 2 were way better. |
Babaheekmat:For real guy. That’s how they made me so hyped up for spider man no way home that didn’t impress me much. I hope multiverse of madness is different though. |
Purpl3:yea, it’s was him. Don’t know why I mistaken him for Leto. I remember checking him online though. This pic made me think he added weight
|
Purpl3:ooh. True. Thanks. |
THE BATMAN 8/10 I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The cinematography was great, story line, splendid. The actors did wonderful. I was particularly impressed with the guy that acted Riddler. Robert Pattinson was wonderful as Batman. We didn’t get to see him much as Bruce Wayne. The little I saw of Bruce though was to me Batman without the mask( always thought Bruce was suppose to be the “billionaire playboy”. Hmmmmm, might because there wasn’t a scene where that would be appropriate). I liked that they made good of the storyline of the young Batman by showing us his inexperience at that stage. Was that the Joker at the end of the movie laughing with the riddler If yes, his joker laugh is really off. Now I have seen this Batman, I’m going to give a general assessment of this and others I have seen. I think Ben Affleck is the best Bruce Wayne and Batman. I would have given Pattinson that, but his Batman looked too down and moody(like he was always depressed). Christian Bale has the best Batman stories and movies and of course the best Joker.
