the “KHANGA” or kanga or lesso  is a traditional east African cotton printed fabric used by women as wraps.

The fabric is named after the noisy, sociable Guinea fowl. Here is a tip on how to get creative with your Khanga.
• For an off-the-shoulder to mid-thigh top, fold the khanga into a triangle then using pins, pin it from the shoulder where it falls off to join the ends.
• If long enough, it can be worn as a dress, if not, pair up with elegant pair of trousers.
