It didnt work for me, I used Mary kay Mineral makeup and it took me months to get my skin back. It clogged my pores and gave me cysts. Sheer cover doesnt do shades for people darker than Halle Berry.

dang. that's y i'm scared to use any makeup.
was it a foundation?

I would recommend that Igbo youth learn their own lects first, but that's just me.

of coz, but they don't teach. so, i just learn the central igbo from my books/CDs then ask my parents to translate phrases to their own.

for example, the book i have said good morning is "iboola chi" but when i told my mom, she didn't even know what i was saying.
my dad knew it, but said they don't use that particular phrase where he's from. but didn't bother to teach me how his pple say it undecided

my parents told all my teachers to call me "sandra" instead of "chika."
they never ever spoke igbo to me and my siblings, but they speak it to each other.
i started telling my teachers to call me "chika" in high school and
i started buying Igbo language CDS& books (but they're diff. 4rm my parents dialect).

@ifez. Thanks for your contribution. I've actually tried in the past to connect with foreign literary agencies and publishers, but they all kept rejecting my manuscript. The only agency that decided to work with me was New York Literary Agency. It turned out she was a scam agency.
