Quote me anywhere.

Webmasters / Re: Facebook Restores Account Of Amonia Rita Stewart, Lady Who Wrote Mark Zuckerberg by AFRICQA(m): 11:24pm On Nov 01, 2016
Bujumbura:
After about a week of social media outcry on the issue of a nigerian lady, Amonia Rita Stewart, whose Facebook account was blocked by Facebook in what she described as “undue”, Facebook has restored her account online. Her Account had been closed down for over two months before she decided to write Facebook founder directly after all channels of communications on Facebook failed.

Her letter titled “Undue Closure of my Facebook Account”  addressed to Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg via DHL was exclusive sent to Reports Afrique News and first published on our news portal.

The news went viral after our publication and attracted alot of reactions online on the way Facebook has recently been blocking opposition voices in Nigeria. Amonia who also alleged in her letter that her account may be a victim of a connivance between Facebook and the Buhari led administration to silence opposition online voices is not alone in this struggle as many Facebook users especially those agitating for the actualization of Biafra have also reported their accounts and Facebook pages been brought down by Facebook on the orders of the Nigerian government. However, these claims are yet to be substantiated and Facebook is yet to respond to these accusations.

Visit the back -to-life Facebook account of Amonia Rita Stewart here: Amonia Rita Stewart

she's one south-south agitator on my f.b page that I love nd respect so much.

Crime / Re: Troops Recover Weapons, Kill 23 Militants In Gun Battle by AFRICQA(m): 10:06pm On Sep 17, 2016
mctifey:
The Nigerian Army said it had recovered 55 assorted weapons from suspected criminals in the Niger Delta.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 82 Division, Enugu, Maj.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahitu, told newsmen in Enugu on Saturday that the recoveries were made during a military exercise tagged “Operation Crocodile Smile”.

He also disclosed that 23 militants and criminals were killed by soldiers in their bid to flush out criminals in the area.

The GOC said many of the criminals fled with various degrees of injury.

He said 38 camps belonging to the militants and 91 illegal refineries, including bunkering sites and underground tunnels used by the suspects, were destroyed in the 10-day exercise.“The precursor operations were followed by `Exercise Crocodile Smile’ proper, which was orchestrated and conducted with sequencing and lines of operation to upgrade the skills, expertise and competence of the troops in land and riverside environments.

“Over 3,000 soldiers were deployed along two axis on land, creeks and the general littoral area of the Niger Delta region, while forward-operating bases were established from where operations were conducted along the creeks and littoral area,’’ he said.

Attahiru, however, regretted that four soldiers died during the exercise, explaining that three lost their lives in a boat mishap while one died during cross fire with the militants.

He said the exercise was also used to cement relations with civilians through humanitarian services in neighbouring communities.

“Books, stationeries and generators were donated to some schools while others were given facelift and infrastructure improvement.

[quote author=fratermathy post=49327863]Ijaw militants have done theirs and gained attention. Urhobo militants are on the lose now.

Maybe Isoko, Itsekiri and Ukwuani militants will follow next. This is why I love America's stand of non-negotiation with terrorists!

Everyone wants to cash in on free money in the name of activism. These guys are my brothers and trust me when I say that they are fighting for their own pockets and not the common cause. When the money comes now, they'll divide it among themselves. We won't see roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. We won't even see schools.

Greedy fools! Anyone who supports this foolery should be questioned for sanity. In the name of spiting Buhari and unleashing economic mayhem, we destroy our own lands and scare investors away. Even as an indigene, I can't do anything in my place until insecurity is tackled. Talkless of strangers. The rebound effects will surely come. We started kidnapping white men in the name of activism, which has yielded NOTHING. When white men ran away from Warri and environs, our jobless youths started kidnapping helpless mothers, daughters and wives. They'd molest them and traumatise them before their loved ones pay the ransom. This is just one effect of militancy. Another was the rise of armed robbery. Sapele-Eku road, Warri-Eku road and Eku-Abraka road were virtually unpassable due to highway bandits.

I wonder what will happen when there are no more pipelines to blow. Will they start blowing bridges, LG Secretariats, schools and private homes?

May Urhobo nation be great and move
