Join the women's group in your local church or any YWCA centre.

Real life associations is 100% better than any whatsapp or Facebook or BBM or whatever group, where you can get advice from people who would never follow it themselves.

You are on point. There is this group am in on facebook, for mums, when people ask questions, the responses you get at times makes one wonder if those offering the solutions are REAL, best mother's group to join is (Your mother and female siblings, and church group (pls also be careful with church groups as some are not who they claim they are))

My dear, no job security anywhere o, #200k is 250% of #80k, why would I settle for less. Within that 2 years, while earning a better pay, I will prove myself to be indispensable, hence, a new contract can be signed or better still be employed on a full time. As for me, it is not hard to decide on this oh.

You have good customer service, and I really like that. I was just trying to make you understand it is not a physical damage. My office is on adeola odeku , and sincerely speaking, without okada, I dont know how to get to eko hotel from here. All the same, I will find a way, kindly lemme have the guy's contact.

seyithug:

hehehehehehe, women!!! Always quick to regret or react. Please, don't regret. That's electronics for you o. You may be the one who turned off your TV at home this morning, and you may get home to find out the same TV is no longer turning on. Electronics faults accumulate over time, and something will just happen one day, from phone keypads freezing to phone hanging, processor lags and RAM freezing. It may all go away with a simple restart or battery pull. Also, androids need cache, cookies, memory etc cleaned or cleared, from time to time.

Men, always quick to respond and correct. We don hear. You should know, money no easy to get o, and small time, it is the same men that will start complaining that women love spending money on phones.

Physical damage doesnt cover guarantee sir

It is not a physical damage, it didn't fall, it was on and then went off and didn't power on again, that should either be a power issue or firmware issue, not physical damage. Anyways, do i need the receipt you gave me to show them it is still under warranty or is there another way they can confirm it? Really, I am beginning to regret ever buying this phone.

Hi Elijah, sorry to derail your thread! The Gionee P3 I bought from you just about 6 months ago refused to power since about 24 hours now and it's really frustrating. It was charged, used it to make a call and after like 10minutes, realised the screen is blank and won't just power on. I have googled all solutions online but none is working, what do I do? Thanks

Hi all, please and please, this is not for those who are just learning webdesigning, neither is it for people who can't code from scratch like me, this is strictly for professionals.

I need a GURU to develop a website for a start-up. I want someone who can develop from scratch and build a good website with an african-feel and a high-taste. If you can do this, indicate here and I will contact you through PM so as to give you my email. This is strictly for those that are in the business of webdevelopment o, not learners o .

Thanks
Family / Re: Is A Party Really Necessary? by afrobaby(f): 1:15pm On Aug 20, 2014
Gaggi: It's a personal thing. Some like to party, some don't. Where I have a problem is when people are made to feel under pressure to throw a party. 'When is your child dedication? We dey come chop rice o. When is ur child doing one year birthday? Buy enough drinks o' and all such nonsense talk.
You are damn right, I remember when my daughter's 1st year birthday was approaching and neighbours were asking me, not even asking sef, they were putting pressure on us to celebrate her birthday in a big way, I told them bluntly, no party until she is 5 years. 3 years living with this neighbours, they had never celebrated their kids birthday in a big way, yet they wanted us to. Personnally, I think party should be a personal decision, not to be enforced.

Family / Re: Urgent Advice Pls by afrobaby(f): 5:59pm On Jul 18, 2014
blank:

Why are you talking like this? Is the money not someone's hard earned sweat? I am sure they tried all of that and failed that was why the guy had to go to court. You can even see that the guy is a stone-hearted criminal. He jumped bail and thus had his friend who stood surety for him get arrested. If it was not such a big deal, why did he not pay back the loan?

It should ordinarily be a civil case but once fraud comes into it, i t becomes a police case. If he did not want to pay lawyers, he should not have tried to bail with someone's money.

Haa blank, why are you talkng like this to me now, really, the first part was just a joke. To be candid, I have a lot of people owing my husband and I, to be frank, it can be so annoying but I always say,'' DO NOT LEND OUT MONEY YOU CAN'T GIVE''. Before you can decide to borrow someone money, I believe you must have a somewhat good relationship with the person and I would not want to take someone I 'like' to court or police station over money. 800k is big money, but the bitter part is since he doesn't have money, nothing can be done until he is ready to pay
Family / Re: Urgent Advice Pls by afrobaby(f): 5:10pm On Jul 17, 2014
Wetin, on top 800k, Nigeria sef dey owe now, why polie go come arrest person cause of loan, make them settle am for house.

The most annoying thing is, lawyers will not collect coins now, you will still have to pay the lawyer. He should get a good lawyer to help him out.
Family / Re: Loosing Your Wedding Ring, What Is The Big Deal? by afrobaby(f): 4:41pm On Jul 17, 2014
No biggy, I lost my band some days after my wedding. After thorough search, we decided to buy another one.

That ring thing doesn't scare single ladies or men off again, actually, it calls their attention. Even with my ring, men still approach me, ladies still flirt around my husband especially marketers.

Remember when I was still single, met a guy, with a glittering wedding band, I didn't see the band at first, then out of the blues, he just said, anyways, am Happily married with kids, but that isn't a problem. I like you, and want you to be my g.f, and maybe something more.

The most important thing is TRUST.

You people will not kill me on nairaland, His brother my foot. What can 60k take care of, oh, I see, when the brother gets the job, he will give the salary to him abi? Abeg, make I hear word jare, whether the wife earns higher than you or not, if she wants to be rude, she will be, gbam.

A woman that has been taking care of his brother for 2 years, and now he wants to betray her. Lest I forget, a certain age will come when a woman especially with kids wll not be able to secure a trainee job again, abeg, let him pick his wife. I don't know what some people take marriages for. Marriage is worse when the funds in the home is too little, I wonder how they are even coping with 60k in the first place.

Oh, oh, oh, I trust my Michael, speedily without a thought, na him go even edit and submit my CV. Afterall, the money is still coming into his immediate Family. Afterall, eni ti o ni eru lo ni eru.

The brother na guy, opportunities will still come, at least he doesn't have a family to take care of now.

Congrats, May I say it depends. Earning the same salary for over 3 years in a company can be so frustrating. I understand low salary during training period, not after training. I love trainings, but after trainings, the salary should be reviewed. If I may ask, were you at any point told you can't resign before the 2 years period, if NO, then take the offer for now, then leave once you get a better job if they are not willing to increase your pay after the training period.

My hubby patronises jumia and they've been effective, lo and behold, the first time I ordered from them, it was rubbish, all 3 shoes were so small, ordered a size 5 but they brought something smaller, and did I tell you the brand name isnt the same, ordered for nine west shoe, got a delivery of a no-name shoe.
Konga, those ones, nonsense, u order for items only to receive calls 1 day later that it is out of stock, Kongaxmas promo code not working, free shipping for december, not working,

Funnily, I ordered from the latest adibba, a juicer which was suppose to be more than 20k was advertised for less than 2600, so I ordered only to be called 2 days later saing and I quote #Sorry, madam, merchants says it's 26000, do u want us to continue with the order, sharply sharply, I said No way.

Online business has come to stay but this peeps need to get their business strategies well.

Note: Except for dealdey, I do only pay on delivery, no parting wth my money until I see my goods
