She is just 10 months old, hope it will not be too hard on her scalp |
Thanks beautiful mothers. @judii, I will search for the product in shoprite, hopefully they have. I was using johnson shampoo for her before, but I think it actually contributed to the hardness, but I will try the tangle free spray, shea butter and coconut oil(hard to get these days) |

I go to shoprite almost everyday because my office is in the mall, either to do window shopping, compare prices or purchase things, and I must confess, most things sold in shoprite are below standard and more expensive. The annoying thing is, these people buy at bottom prices from manufacturers but yet scam us with their lower prices tag. I rcently bought hair clipper for aomeone. The very first time he wanted to use it, the stylist told him the blades are not sharp, he will need to sharpen them, I bought a non-stick steam iron and lo and behold, it sticks to my cloths more than anything. I usually buy my baby food (SMA progress) at the rate of #1800 from shopdirect, also in surulere, but shoprite sells for #2599 or so, what about their diapers, most kitchen utensils, men it is annoying. Their customer service is so poor, at times, I have to scream at the ladies in the food section before they will attend to customers, really, these SA malls are not worth it. Have you tried MR Price and pep, gosh, lowest quality for higher prices, I just pray God will open the eyes of our leaders to see clearly and know that if they dont do the right things, gnrations unborn will curse them even in their graves |
Are you for real, you had to register a new account on nairaland just to respond to my request and scam me, lolz, see, I am more experienced than that, try next time my dear |

sexyshe: Pls mothers I need your help,I have a five weeks old baby who sleeps during the day but doesn't at night, from 8pm to 3 or 4am she's awake, eyes wide open an sometimes cry,I try everythin to make her sleep but she won't,I will change change her diapers several times, feed her, carry her but eyes stil wide open.it makes me. Worry cos I don't sleep at night anymore and I wil resume work on monday,I wakeup looking. Very tired and stressed, pls mothers do babies hav sleeping drugs so I can giv to her at night to help her sleep.pls mothers I need urgent reply, thanksWelcome to first weeks for motherhood. I personally didnt face much wahala with my daughter cause my sweetest mother was around for like 3 months, mine was to just breastfeed and go back to sleep. But my dear, please forget about sleeping drugs o, abeg, no drug your baby o, she will adjust over time, just get someone around, your mum or MIL to stay with you during this period so you can be able to rest well to fully recover from delivery. Come to think of it, resuming work 5 weeks after delivery to me is too fast o |
Oh, Do they look convincing enough, good company, organisation? did you see any students? Pls someone should come to our aid o |
@mutty.babe, at this stage, I think the best thing is to stop worrying, when one is close to delivery, all you need do is keep your mind at rest. My dear, I will accept CS over and over again if that is what God says, afterall, it is God that bestowed the gift of operation on doctors. If on the day of delivery, your doctor mentions CS, abeg, accept o, the most important thing is to have your babies alive and in good health, God will grant you safe delivery and you will share your testimony soon |
judii: @ all, my baby is 5months old and she poos 4 to 5 times daily on d average. I know its not normal but don't know what 2 do as d poo is not watery (she's not purging). I buy a pack of huggies and the maximum it lasts is about 2weeks as I have 2 change her like 4 to 5 times, though most times the poo is usually very little after the early morning one. I spend an average of 8 thousand naira on Huggies every month o! Pls help me with suggestions as to what to do.Sorry dear, I remember last month, my baby passed out faeces more than 4 times a day and she is 8months, my MIL says it was teething, but believe you, irrespective of whatever may be the cause, the first thing to look for is a solution to stop the poo, even as adult, using the toilet 4 times a day can affect one. I had to call my brother( who is also my doctor) immediately and he prescribed augmentin and flagyl, and it stopped the second day. Lo and behold, my baby that has been moody before started playing again. Meanwhile, you can still buy those cheap diapers pending the time the poo will stop. |
