yea i get what you mean. There are some series i hate but hardly notice who made it,but the issue here is my strong aversion for shonda rhymes,i cant explain it. For example there are some people who dont like quentin tarantino,probably because his movies are too unconventional and always filled with blood and guts,once they see he's involved in a movie they dont bother checking it out,thats how i feel about Shonda Rhymes. (Abeg why dont you like breaking bad and GOT? what turned you off? )

Really breaking bad just looked so unreal to me and the main character acting was more of a comedy to me, I don't really like comedy.

I enjoyed every bit of GOT season 1, I even downloaded it and forced hubby to watch it, but after season 3 or so, I just felt I wasn't getting the story again, so many names (strange names) to memorize (lol), . I can't really say this was what turned me off, I guess I just turned myself off, smiles

I think movies has to do with individuals. The almighty breaking bad was a no no for me, I stopped watching GOT after season 2 or so, it is not about the writer or the producer, it has to do with what we like as individuals.

For me, I like movies that I can actually picture myself as more than one of the major characters, seeing myself in their roles.

The ideal thing to do when resigning is to give at least 1 month notice based on your offer letter, but then I ask myself, how many employers give notice before sacking staff, over 90% don't. Some will tell you with immediate effect and may even pay you off.

One thing i can tel u is.....the call is from Airtel Nigeria. cant say more than that, and, dnt try calling it, it will NEVER connect. did u apply for any job wth airtel or know someone working with airtel?

I send out applications so many times, probably, it is one of those.

I don't really know how to advise you but I was already 1 month pregnant before I got my job.

Your case is different , maybe, because, you are already aware of your state and I must tell you, pregnancy with a new job isn't easy at all. I once told my HR after employment that I would have rejected the offer assuming I knew on earlier that I was pregnant.

Most companies just don't like that maternity leave and the fact that pregnant women can't really give their best.

Continue searching, I am sure, one will come hopefully before you start showing

Loads of companies use Microaoft Exchange Server in Nigeria.

I worked with projects involving Exchange Server, SharePoint Server, System Center Configuration Manager etc and they are quite big.

Banks, communications companies etc all use them.

What I have observed though is that it is most times a guy-know-guy way of getting jobs. If you have worked with someone in a company who has moved on to another, he most likely will be the one to reference you for a new post there without much advertisement. I have seen it happen very well.

hello mommas, pls i would like to advise you all on measures you take that adversely affect your babies health in the long run e.g using skineal or sudocreme mixed with whatever for daily creme is wrong. the makers of skineal/sudocreme know why they made it for rashes/skin infections, its meant to cure not prevent. another example is using paracetamol before immunization, why not wait to find out if your baby eventually runs temp then u administer pcm.......... pcm is a drug and we should mind how we give it. the drugs some of us use to prevent teething wahala eh meanwhile some babies don't even experience teething problems or would not have experienced. when i had my 1st doctor, i was told that teething powder is fine but some other drugs e.g piccan can cause stomach abi na intestine issues in future. i no dey spoil their mkt o. just my advise sha. i wish all our babies/kids good health always.

You are right o. As per the teething stuff, people should stop believeig all those lies, any sickenss , it will be termed teething. My son was recently sick and I was told, don't worry, it is teething, it will go. Ni bo (for where), I told hubby, we need to take him to the hospital. After test, It was discovered that he has malaria and infection. I am not saying teething doesn't cause discomfort to babies, but we should be more vigilant.

None of the jobs is about hacking. Don't be sidetracked by the term hackers here. Growth hackers aren't trying to steal secrets from competitors or government agencies. They're tasked with one goal: growth. They are more tech-focused than the digital/traditional marketer.

I agree with you partially, but come to think of it, IT may not bring in money but they help you save money towards unforeseen disasters. With the rate at which technology is advancing, there is hardly any company that can do without a solid IT department, it is a key department in every company.

I think this only happens in companies that do not appreciate technology

Windows 10 is really cool, though I still fumble with lots of things like when I want to shut down, still navigating my mouse to the right corner. But all in all, i think it is cool. The cast to device isn't working for me though, anyone tried it?

With this my little years of experience, I am forced to come to the conclusion that most companies tend to pay the IT staff lower than those in sales, marketing, accounts and other departments, except for major companies that actually appreciate technology. I work in a retail company and it is so funny that even a less experienced staff earns higher.

Most annoying is the fact that, as an IT personnel, one stumbles on some key information every now and then and when you realize that a fresh graduate employed into another department earns as much as you earn or even more, it just kills one morale.

Please, anyone experiencing such cause am really boiling, smiles.
