Car Talk › Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by afrobaby(f): 8:21am On Nov 15, 2020 |
Good morning great people.
I have been driving my pilot less than 2 months, I recently noticed Vtm-4, vsa and abs lights came on. I scanned the car and it came out with the code p0141.
Please what could be the fault, what needs to be checked or replaced?
Thank you |

Pearlmadeit: That's among some of the cheapest. ACWA charges 985, AASW is 1800. If you get what I'm pointing out .. Wow. Say no More |

bellong: If you have a copy of your transcript, you can upload it along with other documents. ACS does not require that your institution send the transcript directly to them like VETASSES does. That is the real problem. I have never requested for my transcript before, I just requested now and was told it would take a while before it would be delivered. I am using my husband's company as the organisation so I can have a copy. I also saw that ACS will collect $500 for the assessment, oluwa mi, that is on the high O. Anyways, waiting for my transcript first. What do I need to get from my former employees or do I just submit my CV to ACS? Sorry for so many questions jare |

bellong: I can't give an authoritative advice on the English test. Some find PTE easier than IELTS while others think IELTS is the best thing after Agege bread . It is up to you to decide which suits you. I only wrote IELTS, so I have no idea about the structure of PTE.
Yes, I will advice you both do assessments and write the exam to boost each other's points (partner's points).
Go to ACS website (Australian Computer Society), you will find information on documents required and steps to submitting your skills assessment.
NB: you should consider another occupation closely related to system administrator. This is because prior to COVID trouble, only ACT was nominating it and may likely remove when full nomination process starts. Look for closely related occupation that is nominated by at least three states to give you options. Thanks for your response. I won't pick system administrator, I will likely pick 263212 ICT SUPPORT ENGINEER. I still have a long way to go though. Still need to process my transcript to submit to ACS and I don't know how long oou will process it especially now that there is COVID |

bellong: Read the first page, go to the occupation list and identify occupations that closely match his skills and yours. Once you do this, use the point calculator to calculate possible points the two of you can get, then you will be able to decide the principal applicant.
You might likely have more points because with his age, the age points is significantly less. You are right. His age reduced his points. The maximum points I can attain is 70. For english competency, which would you advice I do, Ielts or PTE? Also, do we both have to write the exam? Lastly, what are the documents I need to submit to the accessing body? Thank you all |

bellong: 1. Who stands a better chance is dependent on who can gather the maximum points and whose occupation is nominated by the States. We don't know your husband's area of specialisation in IT.
2. Yes, your system admin role is still valid. Experience within 10 years is valid. Thanks for your prompt response. My husband is a server administrator, system engineer and a software licensing specialist. |

Silverpurple: Hello Sir,
You will need to learn CS, it's the building blocks. Not necessarily all CS but basics like algorithm, data structure, etc. Then you can move into any language to solve problems. Popular languages like Python, JS, C#, etc. After gaining confidence in a language, you can move to framworks which enables you to build solutions faster using previously written codes in the chosen language. The final stop will then be a stack, which is a combination of tech framworks and languages. Voilà, you are a developer..
Try many free resources online...youtube, Udacity, Cousera, etc. CS as in c#? |

Please I need help guys. My own case is a very different one. I was a system administrator in 2 companies for over 4 years before I lost my job in 2016, now I run my personal fashion design business and sales of taileoing accessories but still listed as a director in my husband's company. I have BSC Computer Science Age :37
My husband on the other hand is also an IT professional with over 8 years work experience. He, however left his salary job and started his personal IT company about 4 years ago. He is officially 42 years old. We have 2 kids
Now my questions are: 1) Who stands a better chance of getting a PR? 2) is my work experience as system administrator still valid?
Thank you so much |

Autos › Registered Honda Pilot 2007 @ 900k, Is It A Good Buy? by afrobaby(op): 6:21am On Sep 13, 2020 |
Hello my people. I am in the process of buying a 5-uear Nigerian used Honda pilot 2007. According to the seller, 1) The AC isn't working, she has spent so much but yet it couldn't be fixed
According to my mechanic The engine is still very sound But 1) The Brake master isn't good 2) The shocks absorbers needs replacement 3) Upper ambush* is bad
My observation 1) It requires some body works 2) The pigeon hole ( where documents are being stored) isn't closing 3) The control buttons on the steering wheel isn't working 4) Central lock doesn't lock the driver back door 5) The reverse camera/ display isn't working
With all these, do you think it is a good buy?
Please car experts and/or Honda pilot users should please advise.
Thank you all |

Bought from Jumia in 2018, this is the second time it is developing fault. First, it was still under warranty and they fixed it. Now, it is no longer under warranty so I will have to pay forcall out fee of 5k for diagnosis. Though their after sales service is good.
If the cost of repairs is too much, I will buy thermocool |

I don't have good experience with the brand. Bought one 2 years ago, after 1 and a half years, it stopped working but it was still under warranty. Called their office and it was fixed for me. Just last week again, it is not working again, now it is no longer under warranty. I just wonder why a freezer will be unrealible like that |

Please, I noticed that at times my redmi note 7 will just keep restarting, it will stop once it shows redmi and start restarting again. It may do that for like 10 minutes, then it will stop and boot normally.
Anyone experiencing that? Is it normal. It is just a year old |

Bulienwa: Is the series "blindspot" worth my time?is it interesting? and I enjoyed strike back looking for something similar Season 1 and 2, interesting, season 3 manageable, season 4 was a little boring but this season 5, I find it difficult to watch. Personally, I think it should have ended in season 2 or 3 |

Moneyboyz: No app will ask you to enable developer mode unless it needs to link with it's counterpart on your pc. Eg Pdanet I think what you mean is enable unknown sources. Of course, apkmoddy did ask to enable developer option, not just enable unknown sources, I am a technical person and know the difference between developer model and enable unknown sources |
