Nutt case, nothing cool in dis at all man. Real messed up ish. |
simpleseyi: Ride on Jonathan. Punish them. Punish the poor very well and hard for voting on sentiments, for voting a dummy as president. Why should poor people buy cars either second hand or fifth hand? Poor people should walk to their destination, afterall the route from Ikorodu to Jibowu in Yaba is a straight path, no corner, no turning, just walk down, no need to stuff themselves like sardines in BRT buses. Even from Breweries in Surulere to Abeokuta is a straight path through Ojuelegba to Oshodi, to Iyana-Ipaja, to Sango and finally to Abeokuta, it is walkable so there is no need to pay fares in cricket commercial buses. The sad thing is they have ordinary poor Nigerians who will still go out and protest for them, prop them up on internet forums and praise them on the streets like heroes when they pass by. Politicians are meant to serve us,they work for Nigerians-people within their constituency should demand better service for tax payers money and collective resources that generate these funds who they are custodians of. Its all in our hands...we Nigerian suffering masses are our own enemies-we are not wise enough to understand that the "People" are the boss and the Governors,Ministers,Senators and all are our servant. When we fully grasp this, then Nigeria will change. |
i dont wanna trade words with you, at least not in this mood i am now. but i'll leave you with few questions. who are you to judge anybody's belief or opinion? are u better than them? and what exactly are you doing to ensure justice, truth and equity is being practised in your own vicinity (show proofs)?
Mr man I didn't say I was a pastor,a G.O should have a higher spiritual and moral standing than me...Jesus did not only preach,he was out in the synagogues telling the elders and pharisees that what they do is wrong-wearing white robes but their insides are filthy. They should be accountable for the tithes and offerings they receive. I will not respect any one who calls himself a prophet or whatever and support instead of condemn criminal politicians. I will not respect anyone that calls himself a Pastor and not use church money to help the poor and widows but use them for extravagance. Read your bible well and see what it instructs tithes and offerings be used for. Pointing out the truth is not judging. We all see these pastors and prophets frolicking with known corrupt politicians, they should talk to them to change their corrupt ways. Nigeria is dying, and we keep living in sin, deceit and manipulation and expect God to intervene-it is in our hands,we must face reality and see things clearly. We must speak the truth,we must understand that an hungry youth will not be able to follow God's commandment cos he will be tempted to sin. Corruption is causing mass poverty and disillusionment on the Nigerian youths, you are there playing church and religion. |
Horus:Low income is caused by bad government policies-i.e minimum wage and lack of infrastructure such as electricity and high cost of rent for office spaces and accommodation hence most Nigerians spend 90percent of their earnings on food and rent. |

bombay: Nigeria has become a dumping ground for crap cars from america and europe.Read my post well, not all tokunbo cars are scrap...scrap should be rejected not clean vehicles, and what happens to recycling? If you have money to buy a new vehicle, not every one does...why does the poor man have to pay the price for government inability to assemble affordable cars in the country. We have iron ore,we have rubber-we have wood and leather-we have everything it takes to produce vehicles. The government should give time, start producing made in Nigerian vehicles, restrict tokunbo vehicles to those not older than 6years and when the made in Nigeria vehicles are cheap enough-implement the ban. If you have money to buy new cars not everyone does-i know Nigerians are selfish, not surprised by your myopic statement. |
Owning a car is not a luxury,it is a necessity. Sometimes I wonder why the Government of Nigeria do not consider the plight of the common Nigerians who are 90percent of the Nigerian populace. Why is the federal government not increasing taxes on private Jets-that are mainly owned by corrupt politicians,Pastors and others that have manipulated the system. It will make sense to discourage people from acquiring Private Jets because it leads to capital flight, money that could have been put into investment to create jobs are sent to other nations...this leads to further depreciation of the naira. Why is the federal government not increasing taxes on luxury cars-i.e beast,G-class,Range Rovers,Lamboginis and other luxury cars bought with over 20million naira and above-corrupt Pastors,Politicians and criminal business men manipulating the system are those capable of buying such. Nigerian economy gain nothing from the acquisition of such luxury. Why is the government not increasing taxes on acquisition of luxury goods and items? There are a million and one ways this government can make money. The quickest way to Nigeria's prosperity is by empowering the majority, this will boost the real sector and increase our GDP. The common man needs just one vehicle to move about, depriving him of this right is a gross injustice...and further shows the insensitivity of these ruling politicians to the plight of the common man. Scrap and dead vehicles should be rejected at the ports, not clean tokunbo Vehicles that still have lots of mileage to cover. 1.2million naira is a lot of money for an average Nigerian, not every one is enjoying the National cake like you politicians...Nigerians are suffering-we provide our own light, water, housing is expensive because you politicians do not care about building housing estates for the low income citizens and food is expensive-there is nothing much to save after paying all these bills. Mr President pls this policy will make life harder for us youths trying to come up...we have suffered enough already. |
Naija girls, most aint natural. Seems like the economic conditions have made most react way too slow to love and emotions. |
I think Naija ladies love to hear about the money to get interested...most so cheap. |
You all bashing Oshiomole are the mediocre fools that placed Nigeria in this sorry situation. You idiot will praise criminals and mediocres and abuse and undermine credible people fighting for the good f Nigeria. Note Oshiomole was pissed cause the woman was pestering him,its normal human reaction and Oshiomole is just a human being with emotions but he is not a criminal thug politician the type most of you like that are destroying Nigeria Fools will keep suffering and smiling...it beats me. |
We already know these things...please these prophecies are not as important as joining with the people to condemn corrupt politicians. These people always rush out with vague statements every year-am tired,of what use is it? |
Prophecies does no good to the plight of the ordinary Nigerian. Prophecies will not make our society better or reduce corruption. We need men of the Pulpit like Martin Luther King that took it to the street and fought for the emancipation of their people...for Justice, equity and truth. Respect to Pastor Tunde Bakare. What Nigeria need from Pastors and Prophets is to join the masses to condemn corrupt politicians, aides and Ministers. Airplanes crash every year. Political dramas are normal occurences in Nigeria. All these things these people tell us in the name of Prophecies are things that normally happen. If these Prophets are really doing the work of God,then they must condemn hypocrites and corrupt leaders just like Jesus did in the Bible. The youths and ordinary Nigerians that pay tithes and offerings to feed their lifestyles are suffering and most are getting disillusioned daily. It really offends my sensibilities when these people rush to give routine prophecies each year and neglect the pressing issue of corruption and economic embezzlement that is pushing more than a 120million Nigerian into poverty. These men of the pulpit have no use for the common man, none of their actions seek to help the poor, widow or Orphans of our society...its a shame that Nigerians are so blind and gullible not to see. |
so because things are bound to happen, we shouldn't pray against them happening to us? Ode pataki
You my friend are the zombie...brainwashed by these self pleasing men of the pulpit. Even schools started off with tuthes and offerings of the poor in churches are exclusively for the rich. The most important things, such as justice, truth, equity are not practiced by these churches-only a zombie like you will not question such. |
The problem of Nigeria is not prophecies,it is Corruption and the lack of criticism of the corrupt ways of the Government by these GO's and men of the pulpit. I think its better if Pastor Adeboye,TB Joshua and co align with the reality and tell these politicians they are the cause of Nigeria's problems, chastise and try to emancipate the people on supporting credible leaders...rather than throwing out red carpets to welcome these thieves to their churches...pls I don tire for all these prophecies-of what good is it to better the life of the average Nigerian. These men of God better start doing what God expects of them and stop running church as a business venture. All these their prophecies I don tire, same thing every year...things anyone can guess. |
Ghana is a poor country, and they see every Nigeria as meat to chew on...only people from vilages will think of closing shop and going to Ghana, except you are opening up manufacturing or big time there. Nothing for a Nigerian hussler seeking greener pastures there expect big asses filled with diseases and sights of lots of gays. |
Smile more at single brothers you find appealing. Be a bit more open. Men sometimes are intimidated by gentle, righteous ladies, show some signs of interest when you are around the ones that interest you. |
a'ight. . . accordin to the reports, the bus was tryin to get away (apparently, a very bad move on the part of the driver). Not runnin towards the soldiers. It wasnt a threat that ought to be eliminated. The best possibe course of action wld have been to aim for the tyres to stop the bus in its tracks. Concernin ur qstn, i'd assess the threat level and shoot to disarm (not to kill) him if i sniff any forms of imminent danger. Soldiers get rules of engagement man. . .you just dont go blazin over anythin that moves. . .that aint soldiering. . . .thats pure undiluted act of cowardice.
I hail you "key pad" internet soldier. If not for those soldiers your sorry ass would probably be a refugee by now. |
Pls military checkpoint is not police checkpoint...those military guys are risking their lives there-could be a suicide bomber or terrorists moving. If you aint got shit to hide, stop when you are halted at a military check point. |
Its shameful that the international community will watch a group of money drunk Sheiks and dictators kill this young man and do nothing about it... Shame on the Saudi Government. |
The woman should arrange thugs to beat the fool to a coma...Nigerian government give too much regard to these dirty Lebanese from a war torn country...If they can't deal with these criminal arabs,we will start to take laws into our hands. |
hotwax: However, this argument cant change anything. Xmas is the world largest festival being celebrated by close to 3 billion people.Very vain and empty argument you posted here. |
Those who know how the Catholic church started and those who read about the early crusades will not be surprised. The Catholic church is a perfect example of the mix of the iron and clay-politics mixed with religious rites. Please Nigerians try to read a little history and learn. The catholic church was started off as a means by the state to assert control on the people-the Catholic church are the greatest propagators of all these religious rites that has no basis spiritualy. Same catholic church that condones peadophiles and gays,am not surprised. |
This country belong to Nigerians not OBJ,Buhari,or whoever...these people are after their own benefits-Nigerians be wise,we must not be fooled by all these drama. All these people are mere mortals,I find it disgusting when we show too much respect to politicians. Obasanjo or whoever is not bigger or important than Nigerians-Jonathan is not the messiah...if anyone is going afoul of the law he or she should be investigated. No man is indispensable. |
When we give unwarranted respect and undue reverence, people get big headed...we always must remember that we are all humans,if a Pastor or his wife feels like everyone is licking their feet regardless of the bullshit-they start treating everyone like shit-and start going astray. Even the book of apostles tells us to admonish one another when one is going astray. We are all human and same...don't look too highly at mere mortals, you only are forcing them to manipulate and use you.for their own good-always keep them in check. No man is perfect, its by the grace of God. |
seedsower: The Chairman,Am in bro,I will support with my lawyer-lets file together. |
EFCC are busy chasing broke yahoo boys while MTN is scaming Nigerians of billions of Naira weekly through fake promos, and deduction of 50naira each for ring back tones we did not subscribe for. NCC do your job, warn MTN to stop stealing from Nigerians. These bloody criiminal south African syndicate is ripping us off in our own country. Shame on NCC-Bleep MTN |
Beautiful wife...perfect wedding,I see nothing sexy or revealing in the wedding dress. Nigerians and the way the focus on the less important things is funny. |
OliverPin: Interesing.... I wish to comment on those who say christmas is a period where people get drunk, kill for ritual, steal in order to impress their peeps in village and so and so on. Abeg shey in England dem o dey do rituals kidnapping for xmas, dem too dey steal to go village for xmas? Or in rome dey do that tooGuy that was where it originated from...and it is still being celebrated with some of its traditions, themes and at same time of the year. The drunkeness, fornication and gluttony that describes the christmas of old is still same-aint it? Tell me one thing that is really holy in the way we celebrate Christmas in Nigeria? |
justhelp: probably you are one of the audience at Kumuyi churchThis is history,a known fact that every knowledgeable person knows, kumuyi didn't tell us anything new. Even ur pastors have read about it. |
The Catholic Archdiocesse response is rather empty...Kumuyi never said he didn't believe in christ. In reality the historical celebrations done during the christmas seasons are indeed idolatrous,it had nothing to do with purification or works of the spirit. This is a fact# |
Arrange some boys to take him out...for good. |
