Lacey will get a chance. The club really believes in him and he is a true fan of the club. The question is whether his physical limitations ( lack of height and speed) will cancel out his technical abilities. His touch and finishing are above anything Amad ever showed in the reserves.

Thwaites is another one one with an elite trait ( passing) who will have to show he can overcome his lack of elite athleticism. The CM field as always is extremely loaded so it will be interesting to see which of Thwaites, Ibragimov, Fletcher * 2, Fitzgerald, Kone, Devaney gets the most senior minutes next season.

JJ is ineligible to play this season. He will most likely get a senior debut next season but I suspect his first meaningful minutes will be in 2027-2028 season.

The first mistake was at half time when he took McCormack who was on a yellow card off and moved Ibragimov to midfield. He should have kept Ibragimov on the right and replaced McCormack with a like for like replacement in McEvoy.

Maybe he will take a hiatus for 1-2 years but I believe he still has a few years left in him.

I think we should have gone all out for Enrique, Flick, or Nagelsmann.

I dont think Carrick is on their level and we should be going for the best manager possible if all the talk of best in class is to be taken seriously.

Having said that, it is better we stick with Carrick than gamble on Iraola or another over performing small club manager.

I honestly thing Carrick has extracted the maximum possible from this squad. There are so many limitations to this squad and if they are not addressed in the summer no great manager will have these guys competing for titles.

Obviously. This is why I am always stressing the need for excellent transfer windows and squad development.

Having said that, it will be a mistake to have an average squad and an average manager. We should go all out for Enrique and then go all out in the next transfer window to massively improve the squad.

There is an opportunity coming to win titles in this EPL for the next 2-3 seasons but we have to put ourselves in the vantage position to exploit it

Probably still prefer Carrick to one of those upcoming unknown element managers but we had better get Luis Enrique or Nagelsmann. Then support them with an
Immense transfer window.

United attracts talents mainly because of the brand.

Chelsea and Arsenal are the best in the south. Arsenal are very good at producing 1-2 difference makers while Chelsea usually has a large group of dominant physical players.

Mainoo has always had it in him. When he was still in the academy I said here that he was Pogba with less skill but a bit more work rate and tenacity.

I am still not satisfied cos I know if he can sort his stamina issues out and be more ambitious on the ball, there are at least 2 more levels to get too.
