Theflint1: Yea, but the average consumer isn't thinking STEM-based reasons why bread should spoil faster than other flour-based products, and bakers can tweak packing and moisture-content so their bread lasts longer than average while still being as healthy as other breads that spoilt fast.
I feel the main thing here is perception sha, people expect bread to degrade in taste and look within some particular period, but like other flour-based products, bread can be made to last much longer than average.
Personally I expect my bread to maintain fresh taste for up to 2 weeks when refigerated, and it's something I consider when making purchase, meanwhile bread like Bokku within 24 hours it's already tasting very bad. There is a limit to water tweaking. Bread needs a level of moisture for the production process to end up making bread that precludes severe water elimination. 2 months is unnatural for bread to stay good for without freezing. It is either the woman was exaggerating/lying for clicks or there are potentially toxic levels of preservatives used in the process. |

ChristineC: what's up with Maguire? he's served his suspension. and de Ligt though. how's a simple "knock" kept him out since December?? it's not a good sign at all going into next season. Maguire received an extra ban for misconduct. Back injuries are sneaky nasty. I remember it was a back Injury that derailed Rio’s career when it robbed him of his pace. They can investigate and might not find what is wrong. Even if they find what is wrong the treatments might not work. I suspect MDL is fighting for his career right now not even about returning this season. |

Leyqute: Nice game by Obi in the Youth FA Cup semi tho. Great footplay to set up JJ Gabriel’s opener. He also rounded the keeper in extra time to make it 2-1.
Onto the final against Man City. Hope those monsters won’t show us pepper. Our GK was possessed by the spirit of Onana. He caused the equaliser and gave the opponents 3 golden chances to knock us out towards the end of the game. Did you see Helafu inverting like prime Lahm. The only question mark is his 1v1 defending. It will be very tough against City. JJ’s form has dropped recently because of fatigue and he was our master key. |

BlueRayDick: Where I grew up, I know quite a number of senior men who ended up in Oman, Israel, Finland, Norway, Bulgaria and those European countries football league where they were able build a better life for themselves and their family members in the long run.
Then there are some senior men who studied STEM and non STEM courses who still stay in their parents house till date due to naija situation of unemployment an all LOL. You are talking anecdotally, I am talking in terms of the overall factual statistics and probability. There will always be stories on both sides to either support or weaken a point of view. Those anecdotes are not really strong evidence because for instance as a doctor I have seen chain smokers that lived to 80yrs-90yrs and I have seen non-smokers who died from lung cancer in their 50s. That does not mean that smoking is good. The stats say that the probability of living a middle class to upper middle class life is higher if you study STEM than if you try to become a professional sportsman in the country. Most people trying to become sportsmen won’t even make it to pro level in the country and those who make it to pro level are not paid much anyway. Only a minority of those that make it are able to live viable lives abroad. Those are the very few that won a genetic lottery. If you ask your PC AI. ChatGPT, Grok etc. the relative chances of upper middle class life for a child studying STEM and a child trying to be a sportsman or entertainer the disparity will shock you, |

TrebleChamp: Amad dey vex me doc, boy is such a talent yet give very little for us on the pitch. Same with Mbeumo, Sesko and even Cunha and is not for lack of talent, players come to United and suddenly become unserious. I just hope the new players coming in will be different... Yeah. If one takes these guys too serious one will get vexed. We should be careful though not to throw away the baby with the bath water. Some people need to be careful coelled Instanta but Amad is not one of them. The whole team was very rusty because of the long layoff and it was compounded by the senseless Irish trip. The management often ends up complicating issues. Now that our top 3 CBs are out we have to face some challenging opponents. Top 4 is actually at risk now. |

MRTA7: How so? Has he not just been legitimised by Neville? That’s not how the fan channel space works. It’s very competitive and all of them are always fighting against the notion that they are pro-establishment or have sold their soul to the club ownership or some other mainstream entity. Being legitimised by Neville is actually not a good thing in that sphere. |

larride: I agree. It seems we are already stumbling, we can barely create chances at the moment which wasn't so when Carrick started. I no mind if we stumble over the line tbh.
The major reason I don't want Carrick to be made permanent is because of my experience with Ole even though I personally believe Ole is tactically better than Carrick.
If we get UCL, the project might become enticing to managers like Enrique.
In whatever we do, no more manager experiments abeg Me sef no mind o. Even if we roll or crawl across sef. Na to get there matter pass. Carrick has done very well to rescue the season and that cannot be taken from him. Even this Leeds game would have ended differently had we been 2 goals down and 1 man down under either ETH or Amorim. Leeds might have run up the score against us. Having said all that, we need to think longterm and use logic rather than emotion when appointing the next manager. If a top manager is available I think we need to approach such a manager for the position. What I won’t like though is not giving Carrick the job and then appointing an experimental tech bros. |

larride: Carrick has actually surpassed whatever expectations I have of him. Just get us to the UCL line one way or the other.
Might be a good time to start discussing with Enrique, Nagelsman and the likes, they can keep it hush hush till the end of the season. That is what reasonable people have been saying since. End the season with a Champions League qualification and reassess. No matter what the final decision is Carrick would be appreciated for saving the season but that does not automatically mean giving him the permanent job. Luis Enrique and Nagelsmann should be the top targets. We also need to spend well and spend wisely in the summer transfer window. If we stumble over the Champions League qualification line we shouldn’t give Carrick the job. |

15 indeed. They look 16-19 but not Under-15. Na Ghana and Nigeria dey carry men wey don complete their family to age-grade competition . It’s still unfair sha cos at that age every single year makes a big difference in terms of athletic ability until between 18-21 when it makes minimal difference. |
