larride: I agree. It seems we are already stumbling, we can barely create chances at the moment which wasn't so when Carrick started. I no mind if we stumble over the line tbh.
The major reason I don't want Carrick to be made permanent is because of my experience with Ole even though I personally believe Ole is tactically better than Carrick.
If we get UCL, the project might become enticing to managers like Enrique.
In whatever we do, no more manager experiments abeg Me sef no mind o. Even if we roll or crawl across sef. Na to get there matter pass. Carrick has done very well to rescue the season and that cannot be taken from him. Even this Leeds game would have ended differently had we been 2 goals down and 1 man down under either ETH or Amorim. Leeds might have run up the score against us. Having said all that, we need to think longterm and use logic rather than emotion when appointing the next manager. If a top manager is available I think we need to approach such a manager for the position. What I won’t like though is not giving Carrick the job and then appointing an experimental tech bros. |

larride: Carrick has actually surpassed whatever expectations I have of him. Just get us to the UCL line one way or the other.
Might be a good time to start discussing with Enrique, Nagelsman and the likes, they can keep it hush hush till the end of the season. That is what reasonable people have been saying since. End the season with a Champions League qualification and reassess. No matter what the final decision is Carrick would be appreciated for saving the season but that does not automatically mean giving him the permanent job. Luis Enrique and Nagelsmann should be the top targets. We also need to spend well and spend wisely in the summer transfer window. If we stumble over the Champions League qualification line we shouldn’t give Carrick the job. |

15 indeed. They look 16-19 but not Under-15. Na Ghana and Nigeria dey carry men wey don complete their family to age-grade competition . It’s still unfair sha cos at that age every single year makes a big difference in terms of athletic ability until between 18-21 when it makes minimal difference. |

Ibime: You are right. I personally count Schizoaffective disorder under Schizophrenia. We have family friends from South Africa. They have 3 sons. Their middle son killed himself at 18 in the week when Schizophrenia hit him. He was still partially lucid enough to know he doesn't want a life of Schizophrenia and offed himself. At that point his elder brother had started mumbling to himself, which looks like a depressive disorder. Two years later the Junior brother developed Schizoaffective disorder at 17 years old. With all this pain, their mother now has Bipolar disorder due to the depression from all this misery and her Bipolar has developed into serious mania wey done reach to enter street if she wasn't being regularly hospitalised. I yarn with their Popsie regularly (who is my fathers friend). The man has borne so much loss, and all the genetic predisposition to Schizophrenia is coming from his wife's genes which has wiped out his whole line. The man is fairly stoic despite all the loss which he attributes to slight autism which protects him from being overly emotional about things. That’s a tough story. Our elders that used to inquire about mental illness in families before sanctioning marriage were not sleeping on duty. Also, if anything it is pineal under-activity that is linked to Schizophrenia. The main issue though is with Dopamine which is nothing to do with the pineal gland. |

Ellexy: Na their type dey dangerous pass, cos you fit let your guard down thinking they're normal and sane and the next minute they'll go crazy on you. That is why I got made the initial post with BlueRayDick. Someone can be normal for months or years but if it dey body, e dey body. And the first time might be terrible and without warning. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc(m): 12:28pm On Apr 10 |
Ibime: Only people with Schizophrenia enter street. What we call Sokugo wandering disease in Africa. A Schizophrenic has an overactive pineal gland (the gland that puts limits on people and becomes active when you dream - hence in dreams, you do things beyond your brains normal limits like jumping from mountains). That's why a Schizophrenic enters traffic and can start waka from Lagos to Ibadan, he is in a constant dream state with no limits on what he thinks he can do. Schizophrenia unfortunately is a genetic disorder. Someone can be perfectly happy one day and his genetics kick in the next day to turn him Schizophrenic. It usually happens only between the age of 17 to 35.
Hundeyin is more of Bipolar disorder like Kanye which comes from changes to the brain after a long period of depression. They struggle with emotional regulation and allow emotions override logic too frequently and they start to misyarn. But they can look normal on a day to day apart from when they are in extreme mania states.
That's information for the house, not for you Doctor wey be senior man for these matters. You are right to a point but not all the way. That stark, raving psychosis that makes people enter street is more likely in Schizophrenia but it can also happen in some extreme psychotic phases of Bipolar or even more rarely Depression with psychotic features. To further muddy the waters there is an illness that is neither fully Schizophrenia nor fully Bipolar called Schizoaffective Disorder. Those ones too fit enter street on a bad day. Then there is a Cluster A personality disorder called Schizotypal Disorder. Those ones dey get magical thinking, odd beliefs, ideas of reference and consequent stray into paranoia. Those ones too fit enter road occasionally when water passes garri. |

Leyqute: Been meaning to ask you afrodoc. Are you keeping tabs on Sékou Kone?
He’s had about 5 appearances on loan based on my research and the clip I saw had him deployed majorly at right midfield. It looks like he’s maturing and the potential is still there. Maybe he can play a minor role next season. The EPL is a different ball game tho He has not really been that impressive so far. I am almost certain he is not playing any role next season unless something miraculous happens during the off season. IMO he still needs another loan at least so we might have to wait until 2027 and his window is slowly closing cos he is 20 already. |

But because of his reputation, everybody dey panic and taking it literally There is no justification for a political leader or anybody in a formal setting to speak like that. If you want to test the theory, tell one of your management staff or board members that you feel like killing him during an argument. Nobody is panicking. They are just disgusted by the lack of decorum exhibited once more by the dishonourable minister. |

You really know his traits. I like the fact that he loves to be in charge without any external factor. He is the classical football ideologue. Very stubborn, egotistical, and insanely jealous of Cruyff. Riquelme would have been a great success at Barca under Cruyff because he encouraged individualism. |

The authorities should get involved but i know nothing will come from it ultimately. Meanwhile the people who donated money to her should donate their brains to the museum of natural history and should be taken off the voters register. |
