Our CBs pass to the GK too much. Our GK Bryne-Hughes thinks he is Pirlo in his own mind. He might cause a goal with his high-risk behaviour.

May be a lil premature to equate JJG to Garnacho. He’s much more talented and more physical, even with his small frame.
Not to mention that Ajayi and Lacey are 2-3 years older than JJ.

The one thing i would say is that JJ, Ajayi, Obi are all selfish like Garnacho but JJ's technical level is worlds better than Garnacho's.

Cc afrodoc
A little bigger. He is still not the biggest but very tenacious and uses the ball intelligently.

Possibly. By the way, have you been following Jacob Devaney at St Mirren? shocked shocked

That kid might just be a dark horse for the midfield position. He's improving in each match I watch him. You sure he can't just try a loan in the championship next season. His decision making and technical abilities have improved tremendously. And he rarely passes backwards.
Yeah, i have been watching him. His advantage over his age mates at United is that he is already strong enough for the men's game and very happy to defend in midfield. He is not as flashy as the others, but he is the one that won't struggle adjusting to senior football.

Can United realistically tempt Enrique from PSG? I don't think we can do it, also i don't think our current players including the incoming will be suited for the gengen pressing style i believe Nagelsmann will play. Carrick will need good midfielders/players and must also be tough with discipline in the team. Lack of discipline will see him fail quickly like Ole..
We have to try to get the best players possible and the best managers. The squad is gradually changing. 4 or 5 more players with the right traits and gengenpressing won't be our problem.

Yeah, it might be a bit insensitive especially as i don't know much about the guy and there are other causes.

Liver cirrhosis from long term alcohol misuse is a possible factor but a more common factor especially in Africa is chronic viral hepatitis (Hep B and C). Those 2 infections abound in Africa with a lot of mother-to-child transmission and sharing of nail files courtesy of roadside aboki.

Is it possible to get to level 4 of any Cancer without having any signs? Like is it possible to be living with cancer for years while being physically healthy and having no problems until it gets to complete organ failure
Yes, the cancer can spread slowly and become only symptomatic at late stage.

1) The liver is a very large organ. Even with 20-30% damage the rest of the liver will be soldiering on and doing the required work.

2) If the cancer is slowly growing it will allow the body to adapt to it, so the body instinctively adapts and you the human won't know any better.

3) The liver does not have many pain receptors inside it so until the cancer gets to a size that it stretches the covering capsule of the liver the person might not feel pain or it might be very subtle pain that the average man (especially an African man) might overlook.

4) One of the dramatic symptoms that usually sounds the alarm is jaundice, but this often happens very late when the cancer has started causing obstruction to the flow of bile.

May our health not fail us when money is no longer an issue, amen.
Good health is the most precious gift. I come across some incredibly sad stories in the course of my work. After a while you just have to harden yourself to protect one's mental health.

Every time you drive past any hospital just count your blessings. No matter how quiet it looks from the outside there are people inside it suffering in agony and dying that very minute.

I've put my mind off Anderson. The city links are too strong. I think he's going there. Would gladly have the others mentioned but not sure who else in place of Anderson.
Yeah. One can only hope.

If we can't get Anderson i would not mind bringing back Jimmy Garner in addition to Gomes and Mateus Fernandes. 150m and we have 4 competent CMs who are all good on the ball and Mainoo will be the least tenacious/aggressive one.

Devaney is currently doing really well on loan and could slot in as an emergency option (if he does not go on loan). He could be a dark horse candidate to make it ahead of the more fashionable names.

Yet most of those academy kids don’t make it. I still marvel at how luck and timing plays a big part in transitioning to senior team. It’s not easy at all.

I’m anticipating that FA Cup final. If we win, na miracle. Gabriel’s form needs a resurgence.

Next season is going to be hectic and hopefully, a few of them can be counted on to fill in when we need to rest some seniors. Obi, Lacey, the Fletcher boys and a few others should get some minutes.
It is a game of arithmetic. Every 1-2 years you have a new set of talented kids, but the top clubs have a limited number of slots to fill. Saka and Odegaard for example have been holding their spot in Arsenal and have seen off numerous left footed AM academy hopefuls with potentials.

Another thing is that some people are late developers who start excelling at 21-22 meanwhile most clubs decide academy players fates by 19-20.

Yeah, next season we might have rely on some of them to chip in a few minutes here and there. Everything depends on how much we do in the transfer market and how well some of those guys develop over the summer.

At this point i think Lacey, Obi, Devaney are the readiest for the senior team. Kamason just got back from a long-term injury, but he could be ready by next season. Thwaites is better technically than the Fletcher twins but i am not sure about his physical development.

The best thing for all of them probably is to go on loan next season to gain regular minutes at a lower level but i am not sure we can afford that.

I even forgot about Leon! 😀

Not a pretty sight. Harry Amass is definitely ahead of him in terms of technicality and football knowledge. He’s just got that rawness and a strong mentality to make it.

Hopefully we can sell him for a decent profit.

I noticed that those City kids play as if they are more coached. They are like machines. Their play feels rote and structured, unlike our boys that were more…human?

Not saying one approach is good and the other is bad. But it’s an interesting phenomenon, given the argument that creativity in football is dying with accusing fingers pointing at how academy players are being brought up. Effective, clean and clinical.
Their academy is the best in the country for so many reasons.

Firstly, they scout some of the best talented players in the country. Only Man Utd and Chelsea are close in terms of the overall talent pool in the academies.

They also have the best facilities and staff that money can buy. They have better coaches and staff and they have more coaches and staff which helps with development. If you look at the benches tonight; we had 1 physio and 1 conditioning coach while Man City had 2 physios, 1 conditioning coach, 1 nutritionist. The difference is clear like 7 up in terms of the overall setup and player development but we close the gap because we have 1 or 2 difference-making players.

I don't consider Iraola as World-class just that I'll prefer him over Nagelsmann. The later himself has also not done anything to shown he is worldclass. I can dare say he failed at Bayern and that's something.

Your concerns about Iraola is valid though, I have no defence at all regarding that.
Nagelsmann did not fail at Bayern. He won the league the only season he completed, was sacked during the 2nd season when he was 1 point from the top and left with a 71.4% winning rate which is one of the best in Bundesliga history. It was not a spectacular success but i would not call that failure.

Luis Enrique is the obvious outstanding candidate but i would not mind Nagelsmann as an alternative before talking about all these guys whose experience is coaching well for 1-2 seasons in 10k-20k seater stadiums.

Even Nagelsmann looks like a fraud who will be found out if he comes here. There's nothing he has done to show he's a world class manager imo. I'll take Iraola over him because Iraola has PL experience.
Nah i am not taking Iraola. Thomas Frank had EPL experience before going to Spurs and he nearly relegated them. Glasner's season collapsed at Palace under little pressure. Moyes set us on our dark path after overperforming at Everton. Nuno was looking like a magician at Forest and nearly wrecked Spurs.

I don't want any of these overperforming small club EPL managers that get found out once they move to a big club. Big club experience is more important than small club EPL experience.

What evidence do you have that Nagelsmann will be a fraud? I didn't even say that he was a world class manager. Speaking of world class managers what has Iraola done to show that he is a world class manager?
