Lampard actually finished 2nd both on Balondor and FIFA world player to eventual winner Ronaldinho in 2005. It was Eto'o who finished third that year.

I'm pretty sure say Na this second wey Lampard finish push Sportsweb to yarn say no Barca striker don reach that stage even as a runner up Lmao.
Which is why I said some think football started in 2004.

Cruyff, Krankl, Lineker, Stoichkov, R9 all made Top 2 as Barca forwards but since it happened before 2004 some have erased it from the history books.

My statement is about team achievement though. Chelsea have more trophies in two decades than every epl team.
Go to the next street and ask for Boda Jamiu’s house where they are discussing team achievements. We were discussing players’ Ballon d’Or credentials before you gatecrashed.

2004 till now is 20 years so 20 years of achievement is worth celebrating, that’s two decades bro just like 1994 to 2014 achievers.
ignorant talk.

Man Utd has 4 different Ballon d’Or winners. 3 took place before 1994.

Barca has 6 different winners and Madrid has 8.

Tell me why a Chelsea fan with 0 winners should be blindly challenging a Barca fan about Ballon d’Or credentials?

If it's per head , then the government will make money . Look at Dangote group alone for example; there are enough expatriates who work with Dangote refinery & Petrochemicals , Dangote Fertilizers & chemicals , Dangote cement, Dangate Sinotruk West Africa etc . Dangote cement alone has 3 members on the board of directors that are foreigners.

Even in the finance sector there are venture capitalists and investment companies who employ CFA charter holders and qualified experienced actuaries as expatriates because we don't have enough Nigerians with those qualifications to do the job.
Yeah. I didn’t see the “other categories “. I thought it was only for directors.

There are many companies that have expatriates on their books o. What I don't know is whether the $10k is per expatriate employed or the $10k is a flat fee that covers all expatriates on one company's books .
Looking like a per head fee. Okay maybe i didn't realize the number of expatriates in that space in Nigeria.

It is just another means for Tinubu's government raising money from the private sector. Companies like MTN, Diageo( Guinness Nigeria ) , foreign owned oil and gas companies , etc who may have foreigners as either directors or senior staff will now be expected to pay $15k and $10k respectively to Nigerian government for having foreigners on their books .

It's companies in the oil and gas sector that will be worse hit with this. I wonder how they will react to this news cos they are the ones that their line of business requires expatriates the most .

Even though the government says the aim of the levy is to ensure more Nigerians get employed for roles foreigners are occupying in some of these firms , I still believe the quest to generate government revenue is the major drive behind this move. It would've been better if government can exempt firms who can't find local talent to fill core technical roles before employing expatriates . But what do I know ? 🤷🏼‍♂️
But how much will the whole money be? Money that one director in ministry can embezzle in one week. I hope there are other reasons beyond raising funds cos that money no go reach anywhere.

A lot of people keep saying it's 1/10, It's 2/10 , it has a rubbish storyline.....etc. I just pause , I never download am as I dey see those kind reveiews even from women wey dey like Romance series
The problem was that the acting and script were subpar. The storyline itself was average but with a better script and acting it might have succeeded.

Lol, trolling you that he gave you guys medal?
What does that mean?

Imagine saying Mendy and kante gave you guys medal and someone says it's trolling. How does it make sense?

The fact is that Jorginho was in the first 11 when you guys won all those medals and that means he's as important too.

And that's the facts I want you people to know. But of course Agenda against him will spin such facts to trolling.
I remember that time, once Chelsea concedes a goal people will start using torchlight and halogen lamp to look for where Jorginho was located relative to where the mistake took place.

I have not noticed so many halogen lamps now that it is Caicebo and Emzor in midfield.

How is it that folks here can spot the issue in our tactics and gameplay but ETH and his coaching staff can't or probably don't know how to address the issue?

From the time of Ole, we have been talking about how the team's pressing is disjointed and the lack of movements, something we all thought ETH would fix but no, he has done little to address these challenges. Our pressing is still disjointed, our players still don't understand the concept of movement into space to open up passing lanes which is why we struggle to recover possession when we lose it and also struggle to retain possession when we have the ball.

ETH seems confused about what he wants from the team. Liverpool is the best transition team in the league but that does not mean they don't keep the ball well enough and this is thanks to the constant movement of their players into space.

I watch our games and see Dalot drifting into midfield (ETH copied from the other top managers) but that's about it, you don't see why Dalot pushes into midfield because the essence of the move is lacking in our play. At City or Pool, the extra player in midfield gives them an extra passing option in midfield and also frees up an extra body to push up high up the pitch but in our case, Dalot will slot in as an extra body in midfield yet instead of keeping the ball knowing our numerical advantage in the middle, we still end up rushing a quick pass forward...Our own transition football leaves a lot to be desired, it seems to encourage midfielders like Bruno and Casemiro to rush the pass when a simple pass to a player close to them is the better option.

ETH should go with his nonsense transition football, he doesn't know what he is doing at this point...
No lies told here. It looks like copy and paste.

With regards the Dalot issue there is a lot that can be said about but I think the main problem is the lack of between the lines passing on the right side of defence.
The only RCB who can do it quickly and with precision is Lindelof but he can’t play regularly as he is a defensive liability.
Maguire can do it but only after his brain processes it SLOWLY.
Varane who is first choice would rather sacrifice his first born son than pass between the lines into midfield.

A solution which ETH tried with some success in preseason would be for the CDM (Mainoo in preseason) to drift to the RCB position and he then has ability to pass into Dalot in midfield. This works best if one of the CBs is able to step into midfield to temporarily take Mainoo’s place and maintain the numerical overload.

I am sure what will jump out to you in the scenarios I just described is that for this to work we need technically sound players who are comfortable in tight spaces and can all receive the ball on the half turn.
Unfortunately, we don’t have many of those,

We have said this before on this thread.

3-4 people will be pressing high while Maguire, Varane and co will be dropping deep at the back leaving Casemiro and Mainoo who are not speedsters to cover an area the size of Texas.

Mad tactics.

One of my private lesson teachers was a Deeper Life member. The guy was young and so even though he was a loyal member he used to question some of those rules in his mind. It was in our house that he could voice those doubts because his 2 elder brothers (who got him into the church) used to oppress the hell out of him whenever he strayed away from the straight and narrow official church doctrine.
