GloriousGbola:Yes the ammunition dey for 50 but is he willing to take the risk of entering the booth under pressure? That is the Rubicon for hip hop beef. You can’t cross that line one time and now respond to the response with troll videos or memes. It is less risky for him to just post more memes and videos. Having the ammunition is one thing. Trusting your lyrical ability to utilise that ammunition is another thing, |
KingTom:Let’s see if 50 will respond but I am strongly suspect it will be yet another troll meme/video rather than a track. |
50 cent just got shivved by TI. That beef escalated sharperly. |
everton4life:I am hearing that his uncle was also charged with attempted murder. |
semid4lyfe:He is just chilling and taking a break. He will come back in a bigger way soon. If you see what he is cooking, you sef go bow. |
CapitalCee:Off the ball work rate not as good or consistent as his mates, much stronger against high lines than against low blocks, can have a bit of tunnel vision when running at defenders. He however had size, power, pace, finishing, and unique bits of skill like Rashford. |
CapitalCee:Rashford regen. Similar positives and negatives. Born in Germany but moved to England to join our academy at about age 10. He had injury issues that I suspect were linked to a growth spurt. He is now about 6”2 and very quick. He actually made his Under-21 debut last season at 16 before he had ever played Under-18. Hopefully he is past his injury woes. |
Ellexy:The FA are sleeping on okada. If they don’t put a halt to this the EPL will soon be unwatchable. |
[quote author=Ellexy post=138564587]Bros Segedinho this una governor eh ![]() They say, Edo no dey carry last. |
3 crucial points. The front 3 are blowing hot and cold. Sesko has to be given a start sooner rather than later. Let's see how he handles the extra minutes and responsibility. |
BlueRayDick:The funny thing about these cartels is that they are like hydra. If you kill the boss of a violent cartel, his cartel will fragment into 2 or 3 even more violent groups. Over time at least one of those fragments will grow to become as big or even bigger than the original cartel while being far more violent. At the end of the day it’s 1 step forward and 2 steps backward for the government. |
odizeey:I agree that they should do their best as long as it is within reason. They cant make him a sign a contract until he turns 17 though and that is not until next year. That is the formula we used to get Chido Obi from Arsenal. |
GloriousGbola:Of blessed memory. |
One-man MOPOL against Naija twitter will usually have one end result. |
abduleez1:You keep mixing not being core Greek with not being Greek. There has always been a debate about this even in ancient times. I never even said that they were not Greek but that they were not in the core Greek areas. Firstly, the fact is that when Alexander I of Macedon applied to participate in the 80th Olympiad, a panel of judges had to adjudicate his claim to be considered Greek. Many Greek city-states didn't consider him Greek, but the judges decided in his favour. Modern historians are in agreement that this was the first time Macedonians were allowed into the games. They were barred before this, otherwise there would not have been a need for judges to decide his case. And it was not purely about democracy as Sparta itself was not democratic. You are even confusing me. In one sentence you are agreeing that some Greek city-states did not accept Macedonians as Greeks and they lived in the extreme north and in another sentence, you are saying it is a lie, there is no nuance and they are core Greeks. Finally, you have digressed from the initial point, which is that only a minority of Alexander's generals (Greek or non-Greek) practiced the act. My theory is that his father learnt it during his time as a hostage in Thebes and the son learnt from the father. Only a guess though. |
GloriousGbola:To a lesser extent than Athens and Thebes. Those were the main culprits. |
abduleez1:That is why i mentioned core Greek. I did not say they were not Greek. The act was more common amongst the core Greeks (Athenians, Thebans) than amongst the Macedonians (even though Alexander and his father Philip practiced it) The question of Macedonians being Greek is a nuanced one. For many years they were not allowed into the Olympic Games and not accepted as being Greek. It was only after about 300yrs of the games that a Macedonian was allowed into the games and only after a special application. They lived on the periphery of the Greek world which is why i said they were not core Greek. What a lot of historians believe is that the ruling class was Greek, but the core of the population was mixed. The main point i was making though is that a majority of his generals were not gay like you claimed. A couple might have been but by and large there is no evidence of most of them practicing it. The act was more common amongst the core Greeks to the south than in Macedonia in the north. Alexander's father spent part of his childhood in Thebes, and this might be where he cultivated the habit cos that practice was very strong in Thebes. Not so much in Macedonia. |
abduleez1:Yes pederasty was practiced by the Greeks and the Macedonians and they were the ones that brought it to Afghanistan nearly a 1,000 years before Islam got there. That is the origin of this Bacha bazi. I would say though that only a minority of his generals are known to have practiced it. It was the core Greeks (especially Athenians) that practiced it more while his generals were mainly Macedonian and not core Greek. |
KingTom:The quality of conversation has to be maintained at a high level. Erroneous information has to be corrected at the point of contact. Hehehe |
Kimbeast:I know that you have made a vow against knowledge but I will humour you. 1) Most Muslim Arabian regions practice Bacha bazi. False.: It is practiced in Afghanistan which is not in Arabia. 2) Bacha bazi is a Muslim practice. False: Introduced into Afghanistan by Greeks/Macedonians. Outlawed severally by Islamic regimes. Bacha bazi is neither Arabian nor Islamic. |
Theflint1:The Bacha Bazi was the example he gave for his statement. So he gave a wrong example to support his position, Are you not seeing what is wrong with that? Imagine someone comes here to say Enugu people are criminals and when challenged about it he gives examples about Isoko criminal activities. |
Theflint1:The Bachi Bazi he referenced has nothing to do with Islam or Arabs though. It was introduced into Afghanistan (then called Bactria) by Alexander the Great and his Seleucid and Graeco-Bactrian successors in that region. Pederasty was common and often encouraged in Ancient Greece. They took that tradition to Afghanistan and it took root there. When the Greeks moved on and stopped it, many of those in Afghanistan did not. The guy just maligned both Arabs and Muslims based on false information. Talking about quality of conversation. LOL |
larride:Spurs useless pass anything. Na why that Europa League final loss dey painful. Spurs came to bottle it and were playing trash but we out-bottled them. I will never forget 2006 lasagna gate when they should have sent Assanal to UEFA Cup but they bottled it on the last day. To Dare is to Do Nothing. |
ChristineC:Hopefully. He is already tall so it’s not like he is still growing rapidly. Reminds me a bit of Ethan Laird who kept getting injured. I don’t think I have seen Ngwashi play more than 1 month at a time. He still has 1 more season of Under-18 next season so hopefully he will take that opportunity and be the main man after Armer, Mills, Kukonki have moved on. |
patrickmuf:🙏 |
CapitalCee:I think the club is doing all they can. He starts most games and is one of the least rotated of the players. The 1st team coaches including Carrick attend most of the games if there is no fixture clash letting him know they are watching closely and have interest in him. He has been called to 1st team training several times to allow him get a feel for it. The next thing is to give him a debut as soon as he is legally able to, which will be at the start of next season. He will most likely go on the tour with the 1st team and get a league debut early in the season. He might still spend most of the season in the academy but that senior debut and modern Man Utd record is a must for him and his dad. The club might also be sorting his dad privately but that is another matter. |
CapitalCee:I think the major issue is that the boy himself seems to be a Barca fan. He is a Messi/ Neymar/Yamal fan. He is also a Nike Ambassador and those ones have been doing kurukere moves to get him to Barca. |
CapitalCee:Yuel Helafu. I mentioned him here recently. He is a very interesting prospect. Good on the ball and extremely comfortable when he inverts into midfield. He does not overlap as incisively as Kamason and needs to improve his 1v1 defending. |
Ellexy:The amount of power he generates from both feet with minimal back lift is something else. That size will be an issue against full grown men though. He needs at least 3 more inches without losing his agility. |
patrickmuf:Daniel Armer. Very good passer and reads the game well. He is left footed unlike Maguire but unfortunately you are right that he is slow like Maguire. He was also not physically strong last season but he has put on muscle this season and is much stronger. His lack of pace probably means he won’t make it here. He has everything else. The same issue with his partner Mills. The most complete CB in the academy currently is Ngwashi but that one is a doctor. I have not seen any major weakness in his game but he appears only once in a blue moon. |
Ihebu4chelsea:The government has abandoned the people on this matter. Over here nothing concern tenant with agent money. |
