Abeg what's the latest on Pogba and our pursuit of a CDM/CM? Pogba is about to play 419 on the club. Let me see if they will chop it. He said he is open to staying but doesn’t want to sign an extension yet. Raiola’s plan is to survey the market and sign with the highest bidder for free in 2022. It’s like asking a girl out now and she tells to wait until December for an answer. The smart move will be to sell him now, add to the money and then buy 2 starting caliber midfielders (like we should have done when we bought him) to play with Bruno. |

patrickmuf: If you point to the community shield as a trophy Moyes won during his time here, they'll say it's rubbish...Na banter sha... Winning the Community Shield and coming 7th in the league is rubbish BUT that does not mean you should intentionally lose the Community Shield. Poch bottled it again. It is what it is. |

patrickmuf: I got off his bandwagon early enough, Nagelsmann was my preferred choice but I know how folks roll here, they'd be quick to excuse Ole of his many failures just because others like him are unfortunate... We can’t allow that one. Poch and Amaka are not the only managers in the world. 2 things can be right. Poch can be useless and Amaka can be useless too. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 9:29am On Aug 02, 2021 |
patrickmuf: We strive for success, not failure...We are supposed to look ahead...It's only those in front of us or walking beside us we can look at as a source of inspiration...
Ole fans want us to look at Ancelotti at Everton, Arteta at Arsenal and Poch at PSG but we say no, we rather look at Tuchel at Chelsea and what he managed to achieve in such a short time...We look at Pep, we look at Diego Simeone...We look at winners because we too should be winners. So when Poch loses not our concern, but when he wins it’s our concern. And this is not about Amaka. I no send dat guy from Fadeyi to Jibowu. It is about Poch. Guy is a bottler and would have been the wrong choice. Dazall. |

patrickmuf: How often do those guys play together or even play in a regular season? Team chemistry is important and that's what Lille had with their preferred 11 starting bar their goalie that joined Milan...
As I said, my priority is seeing Manchester United win a trophy, of course I'll be sad when I see other managers doing what Ole is struggling to do...If Poch was our coach and he fumbles, I'll be the first to call him out as his shortcomings means Manchester United too will struggle but as he isn't our coach, if he likes, let him fail, e no concern me...
We don't measure up to failure but success so, when Poch and other managers win, we will ask Ole for his own trophies...
Those who rather focus on the failures of other top teams are doing so because for them, any window of opportunity must be utilized to make Ole seem like not a very bad coach... So when Poch fumbles it does not concern us but when he wins it concerns us, innit? |

patrickmuf: Did they play yesterday? No...
PSG winning or losing doesn't improve our chances of winning...My utmost concern is Manchester United... My post is simple na. 1) He still had the better players overall and lost. At best the Lille players were on the same level as the players he had but he couldn’t win. As per normal for him 2) If it does not concern you when he loses it will be very wrong for you to drop any posts here whenever he finally wins something with Neymar, Mbappe, Marquinhos, Ramos, Veratti and company. |

patrickmuf: PSG were missing at least 9 players who are guaranteed to start when available but that's more or less Lille's best team...Anyway, whatever happens over there no really concern us... Forget that thing. Poch na bottler. If a man repeatedly shows you the kind of person he is at some point you have to believe him. As per wetin concern or no concern us please keep the same energy whenever he finally wins something while parading arguably the 2 best (non-GOAT) players in the world. |

TheLequte: Yup. That’s what he meant.
McTomminay hides/doesn’t open up for passes/take responsibility when the going gets tough. Fred, on the other hand makes himself available for almost every pass and then loses the ball about 80% of the time.
Matic takes responsibility and doesn’t get dispossessed or make a wrong pass but his legs are gone. He turns into an olosho, escorting opponents to the goal and giving them acres of space to exploit after he’s played 3 -5 consecutive matches.
Na the problem be that. Good breakdown. In essence McTom is too aware of his limitations and of danger while Fred is not aware enough of his limitations and of danger. Matic senses danger but there is little he can do about it. That midfield na condemn. |

Ebukacute: The gods need you to sacrifice in exchange of 3 gold medals. Dash chelsea greenwood and Bruno and collect Abraham and bakayoko. Dash assnal Sancho and pogba collect lacazett and William.... If you do these in 3 market days 3 medals shall they get. I was even trying to inspire you to do something great for your country Nigeria. You should be the one to make the sacrifice in order to win 3 gold medals for your country. We have already won 10 gold medals and we didn't have to sacrifice. Why should i sacrifice to a juju deity that i don't believe in, in order for YOU to win 3 gold medals? I am asking you to do the juju that you believe in, in order for YOUR country to win 3 gold medals. It is either you don't want YOUR country to win 3 gold medals OR the juju no sure you |

pamcode: I swear those Jamaica are power horses. Pos 1-3.
On another note Joyner getting vindicated. After years of female athletes saying her record in Olympics and World can't be broken because she allegedly doped. E remain that World record. It is not only about times she ran but the fact that she improved her 100m and 200m time by half a second in 1988 and retired immediately mandatory random testing was introduced. If you know about athletics you will know it’s virtually impossible to improve your 100m time by half a second within months…………unless you are getting help either via steroids or juju. Flo Jo was probably my first international athletic hero BUT i am with the majority that believe she doped. It is what it is. |
