handelex: Newcastle is interested in him. If Chelsea can get upto 20mil pounds for Guehi we can get that or even more for Axel. I don’t seriously see him making it at United sadly.
Guehi is coming off the hype of regular football. Tuanzebe is coming off 2 disappointing seasons playing nothing. Sadly, I agree with you as well. I think the ship has sailed on his career here.
I don’t recognise the shaky and reactive defender he has become. He also does not look as comfortable with the ball.
BlueRayDick: Baba hush still wan see the sun before he turn 60 years old.....he had to take plea bargain o.
Abba Kyari is down already, many more associates to go. A lot of people that had dealings with Hush will be dieing inside slowly laidis hoping and hoping their name will not pop up on FBI wanted list
Some of these guys don’t understand wetin FBI be. If FBI truly and modafuckingly mean you, e don be for you be dat.
Oasis007: I agree Mengi needs to play regular football this Season, jez afraid we'll be too thin at the back. Everyone knows Jones would return to where he belongs. Bailly also would be visiting him time to time.
Doc...... imagine one of the 3 remaining CBs is out for like 4 to 6 Weeks, ain't we gonna be in serious problem?
The club should release Jones and the manager should stop deceiving himself that Jones will soon be back.
I am telling you if we bench Mengi this season and next season he too will lose whatever chance he had of making it here.
He needs to get minutes this season and then next season can come back to try and compete for the 3rd defender slot.
Tuanzebe and Mengi need to go on loan and get a good run of games and come back with confidence and reputation.
Oasis007: If Mengi goes on loan, we'll be left with 3 CBs for a whole Season.
Bailly is there. We coped last season.
Last season we coped with Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly, Tuanzebe, Jones.
This season it will be Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly, Varane, Jones.
Only difference is instead of Tuanzebe we have Varane.
We have to think long term. Defenders have to get minutes at 19, 20 yrs and make the mistakes early not get to age 22, 23 and still be playing like a rookie cos your club has been benching you for years.
TrebleChamp: For those arguing that the absence of fans at stadium didn't affect Clubs finances, please read this article. I am not joining the argument ooh, just showing you guys what i saw on BBC...
That line of argument was quite ridiculous which is why i didn't get involved. Almost all the clubs are complaining of being cash strapped which has affected transfer fees and player movement. It even posed an existential threat to many small clubs (e.g Arsenal) who were begging the government for handouts and even asking players to take a pay cut.
KingAlabi: This na within house matter, if na outside surely I go praise am, but just because of a goal no go make we change my view on am, have you seen the bodies we have in midfield + DM we might sign?
Practically all those youth midfielders are going on loan. Matic is considering leaving for Serie A, Lingard might leave in order to fight for a World Cup place, Mata is a pensioner, Pogba might leave.
Right now the only senior midfielders that seem certain to be here when the season starts are McFred and VDB. Just 2 senior midfielders.
BlueMann: You're right about that PR thing though. Today I just dey see rave reviews about the guy, and me sef jump ontop the bandwagon when I saw that €80million release clause shii, na later I reason the thing wella.
Surely the gulf in value between Zouma and Kounde isn't up to €30million, now that I think of it. The thing no too clear for my eyes again.
I was surprised when you were talking about release clause. What matters is the real value of the player. A club can place release clause of 1 billion dollars on an average player to scare away rivals but that one no mean say if you buy him for 200m dollars you should be celebrating that you got a good deal.
raumdeuter: This while it might be an attempt to be funny, Looks like it might be very true. Madrid team looks like its about to "lazdent" and going through a rebuild. If you dont have enough historical goodworks in your corner with Madrid fans like Modric or Casemiro you are skating on thin ice
Nope. Not trying to be funny. The way he was adamant from the onset that he was not interested in staying back got me thinking. They booed Raul bro, Casemiro and Modric are not safe.
I don't think it was only about the money. The guy wanted to leave. Right from the start what we were hearing was that he wanted a new challenge. Probably didn't want to face the ungrateful Madrid fans without Ramos.
patrickmuf: nitrogen, please ask the board to get us a DM...I will return with my usual appreciation...
Afrodoc2, you sent nitrogen on so many errands to the board as per board member wey you give am, now you don't want to appreciate him abi? It's not fair o!
