we may think we are settled in the defense but that's because both Lindelof and Maguire have been fit. their deputies have been off and on the sickbay, nobody has really noticed because they've not been needed.

We all agree the CM needs work, but my issue with the RW is that we don't have a starter quality player there. Dan James is a squad player and we can't go into a new season with him as our option A. Sancho would be my preferred anyway.

Greenwood is a striker. He is being played on the RW because apart James there is nobody else who can do a decent job in the senior squad.
The bonus is at least he (Mason) gets minutes.

By next season what i hope is that Mason is moved to CF to be the sub for Martial, while we get a real quality RW player whose sub would be Dan James.
