You then add zagadou’s funny name lol. Zagadou has real potential but i don’t think he is what we need right now. At his level of development if he joins Smalling, Jones and company they will teach him bad habits and wreck his career. Zagadou, Akanji, Witsel, Sancho, and Dr Reus are my favourite players from that Dortmund team. |

Acquired by Borussia Dortmund from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, Zagadou made 17 appearances and scored twice in the 2018/19 Bundesliga. He has represented France at every youth level from the U-16s. Greatihex: i was even more surprised to see afrodoc say that PED does not improve dribbling.
Seems like a lot of our old guys did not even play monkey post.. How can someone who ever played any kind of football downplay the importance of strength in football. You should be smarter than this, and if you are not at least pretend. It is not everyone that will come here to be repeating the "i played football, i played football" mantra here to validate himself. I played football, basketball, and handball for my school at national level AND was called to NYSC state camp for football (for those who love throwing imaginary shade). That was how Coogar (thinking i lived in Nigeria) was using a measly 54k pounds to boast here until i set him straight. |

elrony: Funny enough, if we add up the "for" and "against" we'd arrive at the same conclusion LOL. Both sides are pretty much saying the same thing but plenty beef no go allow people agree with one another. PEDs help in football but not as much as they help in individual sports like cycling, sprinting, weight lifting which have a greater reliance on strength, stamina and speed. |

elrony: It's called "Performance Enhancing Drugs" for a reason.
Make I stop there. While PEDs would improve performance in most sports there is a difference in levels of this between sports that depend majorly on athleticism and power, like sprinting, cycling, swimming and those that greatly depend on skill like soccer, basketball. PED use in football definitely exists but there are so many aspects of the game that PEDs can’t affect that it’s utility can’t be compared to what it does in other sports. It won’t improve your dribbling, ball control, passing accuracy, vision, or awareness. It won’t build team spirit or improve the coach’s tactics. |

Leyqute: Even if we play a high line attackers and midfielders will still have a larger share of the workload because they have to be more mobile and sharp in order to create and score goals.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t buy defenders at all, I’m just saying we need more midfielders and strikers. I think the needs are balanced. 2 defenders (CB, RB), 2 midfielders (CDM, CM), 1 or 2 forwards (1 RW and maybe 1 CF). |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 10:49am On May 24, 2019 |
Leyqute: OGS wants all signings in before embarking on the preseason tour.
We need more attackers and midfielders than defenders. Players in these positions expend the most energy With the way OGS wants to play.
I’m just hoping for the best next season. I won’t rule out Ed and others to disappoint though. We need both defenders and forwards. However the place where we have had long history of lack of quality is at CB and CM. If we have a good defence and play a higher line the space that the attackers need to cover will be less. With 2 good CBs and a mobile CDM our full backs can join the attack more consistently. Also there are more options and safer options in the market amongst CBs and CMs who can come in and improve us straight away. It is a poor market for attackers right now, and they will cost a fortune anyway. Outside Sancho and maybe Pepe for that RW i don’t trust the other attackers in the market. |

Didn’t realize Rabiot had sacked his mother. That might be a good sign for his football future.
He would be a risky player, but we can get him for free and get Meunier for 30m.
Then spend the money on a CB, RW , and another CM.
I don’t want Icardi and that his yeye wife anywhere near United. Also we can’t have Pogba, Rabiot, Icardi together. That would be too many drama queens. |

Doping has not been a major issue in football because the authorities have traditionally turned a blind eye towards it.
Italian clubs had doping programs for years. I remember the Juve team that beat Ajax in the UCL final with men that could run for 90 mins and more. |

JayKayMaybachz: I am telling you.. This is what Man Utd wingers had then..
He dribbles too.
Doc would you sanction Meunier's deal??
Though I'll go with AWB.. He's younger but the fee quoted By Palace is crazy We should get Meunier for about 25m and spend our money on the midfield, central defence, and right wing. They are quoting big sums for Koulibaly, De Ligt, Sancho, Joao Felix, Bruno Fernandes, Ndombele so we shouldn't spend large on a fullback when more important positions need improvement. Meunier is experienced, still at his peak at 27yrs of age, and could be here for the next 3-4 years while we groom one of our plethora of young RBs (Dalot, O'Connor, Brandon Williams, Ethan Laird) to succeed him long term. Lastly, i respect AWB as a defensive beast but i fear his attacking limitations will be exposed if/when he moves to a bigger club and has to be the attacking outlet against bus parking teams. |

MRTA7: I don't want Lukaku to leave.
For one he's still better than Rashford. He's a good small team bully. If he was in a team that creates lots of chances he would score more than 30 goals. I'm not saying he's a world class striker but he can be a good piece if he was in a good team. I'm also not convinced about replacements out there for what we need. We wont get our money back if we sell him, no way inter can pay £75m+ so its better to keep him than to make a loss. I can't deal with Rashford being our main striker next season. It might send me to the hospital with an aneurysm. Haaa aneurysm ke? Take am easy o, lol. Yeah i don’t think Lukaku was on my list of salary vampires. I don’t believe there is any top level striker within our reach this off season, so I will kukuma manage Rashford, Lukaku, Martial, Greenwood for the next season. Our money should be spent mainly on CB, RB, 2 CMs, RW. |

Leyqute: Yes, word on the street was that he was sacked. During that time when we had injury issues one of the U-23 lads should've slotted snugly into the first team.
Do you know Ethan Galbraith? He scored 2 of the top 10 U-18 goals of the season. Seems to have decent feet for placing. I know Galbraith very well. I still have to see more to really conclude about him. He is a bit lightweight and small sized considering he is older than Greenwood and around Garner's age. Garner, Levitt, Traore are all ahead of him in physical development and are all around his age group. However technically Traore is the worst of the lot. It is going to be a rat race between them to see who makes it here, although Garner appears to have already been singled out for promotion. |

We can't replace 80% of the squad, at least not in a single window. What needs to be done is expulsion in batches, like 5-6 every window and in 2 years we will be rid of all the dross. And thunda fire anyone who is asking for improved wages, cos none of them deserves it. |

Leyqute: Yes, word on the street was that he was sacked. During that time when we had injury issues one of the U-23 lads should've slotted snugly into the first team. That one is not even the major problem. Even at the nadir of the Mourinho era when our football was crap the under 23 team arguably played worse football. People blamed that generation of players but when he was given Mason Greenwood, Gomes, Chong, Garner et al the football was still just barely watchable. He actually coaches skill and technique out of the players. |

Leyqute: LoooL. Look at the way you're pricing players as if they are tomatoes in the market.
I think Leicester will demand more than 60 for Ndidi. They don't like letting go of their first team players. Remember how much they got for Mahrez and look at how much they're demanding for an aging Maguire. PSG want to offload Meunier and he has just 1yr left on his contract, and he would like to come to United. The reprts are that he will go for 20-25m pounds. Even if Ndidi goes for 50-60m it would be good business getting them for 70-80m combined. Nobody is buying Ndidi for more than 60m. He is an African CDM with a low profile. Mahrez is an attacking flair player and major component of an EPL winning side, Maguire is not aging but a 26yr old England international. If we adjust for football age we go see say Ndidi old pass Maguire sef. |
