It’s not impossible.

2 years ago De Ligt had yet to make the senior team. No one knew if he would come good or not.

The statement was made by a scout. He said they recommended him to Utd, not 100% sure he was offered. At that time, Utd was more interested in established players like Bale.
De Ligt made the senior team 3yrs ago. In fact De Ligt became a Dutch international 2yrs ago. He was already an established and rated player in the Ajax set up.

If you know how Ajax works then you will know they are not offering such a player to anyone.

Heard De Ligt was also offered to us a couple of years ago but we weren’t interested.

I’m concerned about the people behind the scenes pulling the strings. Who is making these decisions? Who has the final say on which players to bring in and who not to?

It’s clear that That person lacks football sense.
No way is Ajax offering one of their best young talents to anyone at 17yrs of age.
Too many rumors and falsehood been peddled in these crazy times.

And Moura would have struggled like the rest if he had come.
We need a critical number of 4-6 players coming in for us to see a difference. All these single superhero buys like Alexis Di Maria etc won’t work.

I thought of it that we definitely don't have 300m to spend, I sabi this club; another factor is selling clubs erasing their former price tags when United knocks at their inbox grin cheesy

Things would have been different if we had players to sell and add up to transfer quids, but our players are looking like the plagues of Egypt, nobody wants to touch em, and we can't afford severance package for them inasmuch as we want em to be chased away.

I'm looking at a LB competition for Shaw, Mendy of Lyon, Chiwell or we enter Championship. Any suggestions?

Can we get Lo Celso too grin
Chilwell will bench Shaw based on his superior attacking ability. We need attacking fullbacks otherwise our struggles against some of the smaller clubs will extend into next season.

In terms of midfield additions our midfield is so poor, and there are so many good midfielders in Europe that improving that part of the team should be easy on paper. Bruno Fernandes, Ndombele, Rabiot, Ndidi, Tielemans, Ruben Neves, and any of the Atletico midfielders i.e Rodri, Partey, Koke, Saul.

Meanwhile, Sanchez, Rojo, Mata, Jones out; Pepe, Rabiot, Tunazebe, Meunier , Ndidi, Koulibaly in. angry
Tuanzebe is already our player so we shouldn't even count him as incoming. Your list is actually quite good, and i think quite achievable.

Another list could be De Ligt, Wan Bissaka, Ndombele, Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho.

Your list would be cheaper and more realistic.

I am concerned about the general direction of the club like we all should be, however i believe the wailing in this case is a bit premature. The transfer window is just 2 weeks old and still has 10 more weeks to run.

There are better ways of expressing concern and debating the health of the club than repeatedly coming here only to post long epistles saturated with negativity. We can discuss what players we would like the club to buy, or what direction we think the club should be heading towards, rather than coming here to lament daily like an end-time prophet.

you are making it look as if praying is bad.
The problem is that they don't know who they are praying to and they don't know how to pray.

When you pray, pray with faith and do the work that should always accompany faith. Faith without work is useless.

The israelite used to pray
Sometimes God will fight for them himself, sometimes he will give them technological ideas to build great weapons
These Chinese and Indians wey dey take over the world now na who dem dey pray to.

Americans wey no fit mention any Old Testament prophet and Britons wey most of them no dey go church Na who dem dey pray to?

And who was the god that the colonial masters and slave traders prayed to, to help them destroy millions of innocent souls and enslave a people?

i believe Africa is geographically closer to Europe than america and Africa should have benefited from that proximity so saying Africa is isolated is still somehow unacceptable, maybe it has a lot to do with our beliefs and culture, believing the gods will do everything for us. before the arrival of Christianity and Islam we are more of a cultural people than technological driven one, maybe while we were busy worshiping the african gods they were busy building ships to explore us

infact i was reading a book where it says civilization started from africa and asia

on a second thought if you at Asia they used to be more religious and that didn't stop them from advancing technologically, it didn't stop them from innovating
does it have to do with biology?
In that era it was all about active cross-pollination of ideas.
The numerals Europeans used for calculations and their mathematical advances came from India by way of the Arabs.
Gunpowder came from China. A lot of advances in mathematics, engineering, naval warfare etc were borrowed by the Europeans and in some cases improved upon.
The Silk Road and the massive human migrations between those 2 continents aided growth and development in a way that was not possible in Africa.

You can’t use America to judge. The Americans you see now all came from Europe 300-400 yrs ago.

You are actually making my point because the Native Americans they met were probably even less developed than sub-Saharan Africans, mainly because of their isolation.

since we all started with the same equipment ( brain ) doesn't make sense to now be ahead of us over time. Also given the fact that in the early days black population is much more than the whites, i really need to know the exact tactics they used in the very beginning.

when the whites were busy making weapon what were the blacks doing ?
The significant and steady flow of culture, knowledge and technology between the Far East and Western Europe benefited both sides a great deal.
Sub-Saharan Africa was relatively isolated, and even though there was Trans-Saharan trade it wasn’t enough.

In summary, the deserts and the forests were major factors in the rest of the Old World drawing ahead of us.

Plus I think we had more village people. Lol

I'm wondering how he will survive in juve with bigger players and ego, well he may just treat their fvck up since na Omo onile
Juve players are more professional and used to managers with power, but Chelsea has a long tradition of players backstabbing managers or just plainly revolting against them.

His main pressure in Juve would be maintaining their sequence of league title wins.

Nope, you got it mixed up. The whole Al Nahyan family including the current Man City family, his cousin the new Newcastle owner, the ruling emir, and the dozens of cousins are TOGETHER worth about 118 billion pounds.
While it is hard to estimate what they are worth individually, it is safe to say no single member of the family is worth up to 20b pounds.
