CapitalCee: You see the difference between Dorgu and Dalot? Infact towards the end, Ugarte was the one opening up at Dalot’s wing. Like i always say, if Amorim want to suceed we beed another WB, i.e Quenda. With Dorgu, Amad, and Quenda as our WB options we are somewhat covered. I swear AWB would have been better than Dalot. At WB. Dorgu is looking like an okay buy at this stage. The problem is that if things continue to be difficult the rest of the team will pull him down to their level. |

main24: 2 years ago...football is changing rapidly, even Pep is struggling, what worked 2 years ago might not work today. Leicester was bottom of the league at Christmas in 2014 and fought against relegation throughout that 2014-2015 season but they won the league in 2016. In 2021 they came 5th in the league and won the FA Cup and by 2023 they were relegated. Slow steady wins the race but it can also lose the race. |

Ellexy: Glazers don finish this club. Ahh whatever happened to "we can do what other clubs can only dream to do on the transfer market"...... The club is finished in ways more people will start to realize later. We will escape relegation this season but unless something major happens, relegation is not off the table within the next 5 years. |

Amorim is going to get sacked sooner or later, and it will most likely be sooner.
The money needed to improve the squad to the point Amorim can do anything with them is not available. |

Casemiro got subbed off and the team suddenly started playing well.
Why did Amorim start him in the first instance? To make Garnacho an impact sub? We are down to barebones in midfield, but as soon as 1 or 2more midfielders are fit Casemiro has to hit the bench again |

Bruno played through pass towards his own goal in Injury time. Something he has done before and cost us points.
Onana parried the ball down in front of his goal area. Something he has done before and cost us points.
Dalot allowed his man check back to his stronger foot and get a shot on target. Something he has done before and cost us points.
Maguire pulled back an opponent in the box. Something he has done before and cost us points.
All in the same sequence. They should just disband the club and build a shopping centre on the stadium’s site. |

GloriousGbola: Hmm
Don't forget that Buharis goons meffy and kyari did their best to fk the election up. How can you have double whammy of intense fuel and naira scarcity on the eve of an election? They were literally pushing the electorate to punish apc and throw the election. That is a very good point. That must have made it really difficult in the general election but i think having those 2 guys opposing each helped him balance it out a little. If one had stepped down for the other and offered maximum support APC and BAT might have been disgraced. I still think that the party primary election was more of an uphill task. You can also get a sense of that from the way he behaved in both situations. During the primaries was the only time i saw him behaving out of pocket and losing his cool. He was feeling pressed and under tension. |

Leyqute:

Leicester’s shoes were top big for him to fill. Imagine how he’d be in the Utd role 3 points out of 33. The first club in the history of topflight English football to lose 6 consecutive home games without scoring a single goal. We didn't dodge a bullet. We dodged a nuclear holocaust. He might be ready one day (and i hope so) but he is not ready now. |

raumdeuter: What did Yakubu do? Who are these powers that be? And who do you think won the election without any influence. Think about what an election is and what it means and tell how its a surprise Tinubu won
Anyone else winning was going to be the upset. A ruling party, a candidate that has been friends with many top politicians for decades who has money to spend plus a fragmented opposition, without sentiments who do you think would have won The most impressive thing Tinubu did in that election was overcome the obstacles in the primaries, when it seemed like the sitting President, sitting Vice-President, sitting Senate President, and the sitting Party Chairman were all against him. With the way the general election was set up with those 3 candidates he had the best chance to win. |

But it’s looking like the ‘other side’ grass is not greener as we all thought, no? I already said months ago that INEOS was on fraud watch. The Glazers already passed that level years ago. They are certified frauds. I have said several times on this forum that the only real money in football is Arab money. UK and US billionaires are audio billionaires. It is just titillating to see you blame ownership and upper management. I didn’t know your ritual oath allowed you to do so. 🤣🤣🤣 |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 1:25pm On Feb 20, 2025 |
Before 2024 na only coach dey chop blame. Glazers were defended with blood. Woodward was defended with blood. Everything was the fault of whichever coach/manager was in charge. Now that SJR is in charge it is very shocking but also comforting to know that upper management and ownership too can chop blame. |
