GloriousGbola:That’s why I don’t trust any politician anywhere. It was not until electoral fine wan finish my pocket before I started voting. Na scammers all of them be. |
GloriousGbola:The head of a country co-signing on a crypto coin is wild, still. |
So, this Argentine President na G-Boy. ![]() Rug Puller lomo. https://www.nairaland.com/8345275/argentina-president-milei-faces-impeachment |
Every couple of years we go from one hyped coach to another hyped coach, and they all struggle. The coach can't be the only problem. We have spent several years accumulating players that are too weak, too slow, not technical enough, or not intelligent. If our players play at the tempo Brighton or Newcastle play at for 3 straight matches, at least 2 of them will have either a heart attack or a stroke. The quality of a player dictates how much you should pay for him. It is only at United that the order is reversed and how much you pay dictates the quality you expect from the player. If you pay 100m for a 30m player, his quality will not magically improve to match your fee. If Amorin has any sense he should slowly integrate the younger players into the senior set up so we can plan for next season. This season don lazzident tey tey. |
patrickmuf:What i am saying is we should not lose focus. Majority of the blame belongs to the management for the fees we pay for players. Remember that there are staff members who wake up in the morning and go to work 9am to 5pm on every weekday like you and i, and their only job is to identify and analyze potential player acquisitions and also to negotiate smart contracts for the club. You now want to shift focus from them and absolve them of blame for their primary if not only duty and focus on a coach who has other more pertinent issues to tackle. I will blame a coach for poor tactics, poor coaching, poor substitution or in-game management, poor man management. In ETH's case i will also blame him for poor talent ID and player profiling because he had the power to influence those things. The majority of the blame for the amount we paid for those poor players though, has to go to those who are paid to handle that aspect. |
patrickmuf:Negotiation of money is by management. If the coach insists on Musbau Alagbe from Kwara United and the management bids 100m for him is it the coach's fault? The same Musbau Alagbe that Man City or Liverpool will get for 25m if their coach insists on him. . You can't place most of the blame for the culture of wasted transfer money and wasted salary increment on anybody else but the management. The evil that Woodward and his boys did in that club will take maybe 2 generations to rectify. The people who enabled him are also complicit. |
Leyqute:The guy is a mumu. I think we should just keep Gore here with the first team until his contract expires next year. The loan deals have derailed him completely. Na one injury to another. If he stays here, it is either he somehow stays fit and impresses our coaches or at least we give him access to superior medical facilities until he fully recovers and finds a decent club. |
kizolo:The club has been mismanaged in an incredible fashion for years. We have slowly and methodically replaced bad players with worse players for a decade. LVG's team will beat this current team minimum of 3-0 even if they play 5 times. |
Ellexy:The man came to us to retire. ![]() Well played by him. I can’t knock his hustle. Maga go alway fall, guyman go always chop. |
Englishisamust:You sef feel am ba? The guy’s aura sef get him own aura. You are on to something magical. Chelsea should buy him. Antony on the right. Sancho on the left. Dem never born the defence wey go withstand them. |
We are not getting relegated. People are panicking because they are applying Top 4 and title chasing metrics. Those teams in the relegation zone are there for a reason, namely that they struggle to get points. That 12-point gap between us and Ipswich is like 24-point gap in a Top 4 battle. Ipswich that will struggle to get to 30 points at the end of the season. The league season ended some time ago. The only thing to do now is to avoid scandalous defeats. Give a few youth players minutes here and there at the end of games to see who can make the step-up next season and thereby save us some money in the transfer market OR put a few of them in the transfer window for PSR sales. |
Englishisamust:You sef don dey feel the aura. Aura wey pass aura. Aura wey get him own aura. |
MRTA7:CM is a priority next season. There is no single central midfielder in the club that i trust to thrive in this 2-man midfield system. |
TrebleChamp:Zirkzee played better when he moved into CM than Casemiro. We should just be using Casemiro to complete training teams. He should not step on the pitch again for us. Meanwhile the number of times Bruno gave the ball away in those last 20 mins was incredible. Zero composure. |
larride:I told you guys. They are there as a last resort so that at least we will have a bench. |
Casemiro has been serving crap all game. Sleeping on duty on and off the ball several times. Radio silence. ![]() |
Leyqute:Not after playing full game yesterday. I also think Heaven will be the LCB cover in the senior team for now. |
Leyqute:No. He played Under-18 yesterday. With the Geaven transfer it means Kukonki has slipped down the pecking order. He just turned 17. Heaven and Fredricson are the most experienced CBs in the youth setup and are more likely more ready for senior football. |
larride:Garbage in, Garbage out. |
larride:Both Zirkzee and Hojlund are GiGO players. I prefer Hojlund for this game only because of the country-sized space that Spurs will leave behind. Space that Zirkzee can’t capitalise on. The bench will be filled with academy players but I expect Amorin not to use them unless absolutely necessary. Don’t be surprised to see us use only 2 or 3 late subs today. |
larride:We can play Cas and Bruno in midfield, Garnacho and Eriksen as the 10s with Hojlund as CF. Dalot RWB. Dorgu LWB. de Ligt, Maguire, Yoro/Maz at CB. |
larride:Dorgu has played those positions before. It is not ideal but at this stage with the injuries we have and the poor form of the other attackers it might have to be done. |
patrickmuf:It would not be so out of place to play Dorgu in attack since Amad is out. We don’t have too many options in the attacking areas. If Amad is gone and you want Garnacho to come off the bench the options are limited. Dorgu played both left and right wing for his former club even though his primary role is LB. |
larride:The Premier League rejected our application. |
Leyqute:Don’t be scared. Jack Moorhouse is here 😀 |
patrickmuf:The hope is that we don't get embarrassed. At least most of our defenders are available. Play a mid-to-low block and exploit that suicidal Spurs highline. |
diggz:Na nitrogen get power to hire and fire. I am just an ordinary fan. |
CapitalCee:And you would be correct. |
larride:There are levels to cooking. We can go from medium rare to very well done in a jiffy. ![]() |
MRTA7:This is going to be by far the worst season we have had in several decades. We are 1 or 2 more injuries away from having to recall our on-loan players. If Garnacho gets injured, we are cooked. |
Ibime: ![]() |
Seunpapa65:Mainoo also injured for a few weeks. Chido Obi, Moorhouse, Kone, Amass, Harrison all travelled with the first team to London. Wahala! Wahala!! Wahala!!! |
