We’ve been running a democratic government for the past 24 years. A Yoruba man was president for 8 full years while another was VP for another 8 full years. That means a Yoruba man was at the presidency for 2/3 of the the democratic life in a country with 3 major ethnic groups and hundreds of minority.

Now, the Yoruba are still asking for the presidency again? Do you think that is fair? You don’t need to hurl insults? Let’s just be rational please?

Now you’re talking about building and handing the fruit of one’s labour to another. That’s not true because many Igbo people worked for this administration. The support may not be overwhelming like the west but that does not invalidate the point. See my brother, these guys are Nigerians and they should be treated as such. The practice of politically rewarding those who voted for you at the extreme expense of others doesn’t make sense. Please emphasis on “extreme expense”. I understand we are humans and will naturally want to compensate those who had our back. But in nation building, this shouldn’t be at the extreme expense of other groups.

Is it Buhari that will 'give' Presidency? It is the turn of the South East to produce the next President. If the Southerners do not unite behind a South East Presidency, then it's very likely the North will retain the Presidency and that will fast-track the disintegration of the country.

the usa would most probably sanction china and would also propagate a worldwide media outrage against china too.probably sell some of their less important military hardwares to taiwan,but that is where at all ends,only people who are naive in international politics will even think the usa will go into a direct military conflict with china over taiwan.

If you must know, the US have been helping Taiwan to achieve a "porcupine posture" such that even if Taiwan is being intimated by a larger and stronger China, they must behave like a porcupine so that a Chinese attack on Taiwan will lead to China having severe bleeding nose which is why the US continually sells military weapons to Taiwan.

Taiwan, unlike Crimea, is an island. To invade it, you must conduct a daring amphibious landing which is risky for the Chinese. Another option is air attack which is also risky because of Taiwan's defensive systems mainly of America origin.

If China think they have the mind, let them go ahead and attack Taiwan. The US regularly sents aircraft carriers through the Taiwan strait. Just some weeks ago, a military plane dropped off some US senators in Taiwan. A military like plane has recently being used to drop mails for the US defactor ambassador to Taiwan. Not to talk of regualar sale of military equipments to Taiwan. Are these not enough provocations? Let China do it's worse!

the result is predictable.taiwan would most likely be reunified with mainland china..the ccp knows this is the best time to finally annex taiwan,and they are not going to let this slip away,contrary to popular opinions the usa wont stick their neck out for taiwan,why should they?.it makes no sense risking thousands of their soldiers over taiwan,taiwan may be important to the usa,but the usa will quickly adjust and get over their loss to china.

With few short statements, I will end my response to you.

Japan does not have any nuclear weapon and can't defend a nuclear attack even with the aide of the US right now.

Before America can react to any nuclear attack on Japan by China, they would have been long gone.

Japan was only nuked in 2 cities due to the distance, China is closer to Japan and would have bombarded Japan with tens of nuclear bombs before help comes through.

no doubt japan is a better country technologically than india,but when it comes to its military,the indian army is way above that of japan,after the second world war japan more or less surrendered its military might,who will fight in japan?,is it their elderly ones?.china annexing taiwan is only a matter of when and not if.and if the taiwanese are relying on the west to save them,then they would be totally dissapointed.

There is limit to what the US can do. The primary responsibility of The US government is to protect the life of thier citizens and not to put thier lifes in danger. Mind you, Japan won't cross the Chinese part. All they will do is to condemn Chinese action, the same way they condemn and sanction Russia after the annexation of Crimea. You will be shocked that when it happen. They will make you turn.

If China decide to forcefully take Taiwan. The worst thing the US & its allies can do, is to place sanction on China and probably give arms and fund to Taiwan to fight. Which will help them put up a stiff resistance against the Chinese invasion and probably force China to retreat.

The west will never ever risk the lifes of thier citizens all in the name of defending a country that is not a member of NATO.

The Chinese are not stupid. They will never ever launch any nuclear weapon against Japan for support Taiwan. Because Japan will never cross thier part (even if Japan crosses thier part, which is not likely to happen, they won't try it). It is just hatred for the Japanese for the high level of attrocities they committed against them during WWII.

Any nuclear war between the super powers will resulted into MAD-Mutial Assured Destruction. It goes to be a loss loss for them.

you keep on repeating this story about japan invading china,that was like 60 something years ago dude,the china of 60 years ago is no longer the china of 2021,no one,i repeat no country would dare think of going to war with china again.not even the usa.as for japan they are no match for the chinese,china is even bullying india which has a far better military than japan(the indian military is the 4th most equipped in the world).i have read major japanese newspages,from what i have observed there is major apprehension in japan,they are scared and do not want a war with china,the japanese are very wary of a war with china,while you here in nigeria is so sure of japan defeating china.funny guy.
