Sakamaje: Don't kid yourself. No West African country is a slave to any ecowas protocol. Even Nigeria herself violated that so-called protocol when it shut its borders recently. When Nigeria deported millions of Ghanaians decades ago, it didn't need to ask for anybody's permission. Every democratic and sovereign nation is first of all subject to the wishes of its people before any sub-regional protocol. The issue can quickly degenerate into a political one for the Ghanaian government hence what you are seeing happening. The Ghanaian government is only yielding to the yearnings and requests of its people to prevent Nigerians from engaging in retail trading in their country, ecowas protocols are secondary in priority. Fine ! Let everyone throw ecowas agreement into the trash can.................let us see which country will suffer the most, The Nigerian economy is like a locomotive with a powerful V16 cylinder engine, unfortunately The Fulanis in control of our political space are totally bereft of ideas on how to power up this economy and get it running on all cylinders, as much as I detest Yoruba political opportunism, at least they have a visionary in Tinubu albeit corrupt. These sahelian savages running our livesh really get on my nerves. |

Sakamaje: I can't help but agree with the Op. I think Nigerians can generally have a high tendency to be very lawless in other countries if allowed. Maybe Ghanaians themselves encouraged the flouting of their own laws initially when they deemed it harmless. But apparently they are now feeling threatened that if something is not done their local retail markets could be overrun by Nigerians who may be coming in with funds being sourced from questionable sources that their local retailers can't compete with. In light of that I can't say I blame them for protecting their turf. If every country simply allows foreigners free reign to come in and compete in their markets without certain restrictions, many countries would be overrun by foreigners in no time. There is nothing like absolute free trade anywhere in the world.
Let's not be naive. Even the developed countries have protectionist policies that protect certain sectors of their local markets/economy, so let's be guided. What you posted here is absolute drivel, you are the ignorant one.The ecowas protocols, which Ghana and Nigeria have ratified and domesticated supercedes that local Ghanaian laws. Please do not exhibit your ignorance here. Its bad leadership here in Nigeria that is drving V our children into the hands of wicked African nations...............our born to rule fulani colonialists should do quick and carry their bags and go.......at this point i don't even mind a Tinubu presidency..........these sahrlian savages are just running the country aground. |

Earnest21: The result of Igbos and IPOB hatred for Yorubas or Yorubas is them murdering, raping and torturing to death of their Yoruba girlfriends and wives since 2015 when Yorubas supported Buhari to become the president. From Power Uti, the former wrestler, to the Airforce officer to the Lekki murder-suicide, the one who set his Yoruba girlfriend ablaze and many others who vented their anger for the Yorubas on their Yorubas spouses and girlfriends by murdering and violating them. Some didn't even make the news. I saw this coming with the extreme hatred and malice the Igbos started showing towards the Yorubas since Buhari came to power. I asked myself, what if any of these people showing hatred for the Yorubas has a Yoruba girlfriend or wife? See the result. When the Chris Ndukwe tortured his Yoruba fiancee to death and "horrifically" murdered her before taking the drug that silently killed him, Igbos quickly put the blame on the Yoruba fiancee for infidelity without proofs. The question is, how many men all over the world has horrifically murdered their wives and girlfriends for infidelity like that if that claim was true? I believe he sacrificed her for the Igbos to take over Nigeria. I am not Yoruba but it pains me when men attack women like that and I have seen this trend since Buhari came to power when Igbos hatred for the Yorubas reached sky-high. I pity other Yoruba women that will still be murdered, abused and violated by their Igbo husbands and boyfriends. The first time I mentioned this on nairaland, my comments were deleted and a mod banned me for 72 hours. After that there has been about 5 other cases of Igbo men killing Yoruba women, so the trend has not stopped. There is a silent war going on between the Yorubas and the Igbos and Yoruba women are becoming victims. Que lastima.
You can ban me, bash me, threaten me, delete this comment and whatever but I've spoken the truth. The facts and figures with the trend speaks for themselves. I watched in horror as a gorgeous Yoruba woman was getting married to a mean-looking Igbo man the other day. Only God knows how they will end up. My igbo neighbour beat his Yoruba wife to stupor until she fled one night and never returned, over any slight provocation. His in-laws told their daughter that an Igbo man is not an option when it comes to marriage. The question is, how many Yoruba men have battered, killed, abused or violate their Igbo girlfriends or wives since 2015? And how many Igbo men have done that to their Yoruba lovers? Next time you hear a man battered or murdered his wife or lover in Nigeria, especially the southwest, check their names first... you are sick in the mind and soul........ |
Business › Re: How Anambra Shoe Manufacturing Market Is Fast Growing (Photos) by afube: 9:26pm On Aug 01, 2020 |
Rossikki: All the more reason why the Biafra idea is STUPID.
Who will be the primary market of this expansion in Anambra State?
NIGERIANS.
Africa's biggest market, and the world's 6th largest consumer market.
Secessionists imagine that they will be able to sell these wares to the world, and don't need the Nigerian market. But they are seriously deluded. Countries are putting up protectionist barriers to build their own local industries. Others like China, have comparative advantage in manufacturing, and will leverage that to start price wars if need be, lowering them to stave off any competition.
Many buying countries would simply prefer the familiarity of Italian or even China made products, and would shun new, unproven stuff from some little African country.
Bottom line: For these Eastern industries to thrive, and take off to the next level, THEY NEED THE NIGERIAN MARKET.
Secession kills that immediately.
Nigeria is projected to become the world's THIRD most populous nation after China and India by 2050.
That is MARKET on a world class scale which Igbo manufacturers can have FIRST ACCESS TO BEFORE ALL-COMERS, if they play their cards right, and remain in the federation.
That FIRST ACCESS to the Nigerian market is already happening slowly, as groups like INNOSON and others get government supply contracts. INNOSON even supplies the Nigerian Airforce with equipment now.
As we approach 2050, the Igbos could become the richest ethnicity in all Africa, and among the richest on earth, if they remain...Nigerians.
A word is enough for the wise. Oga do not criticise what you do not understand, Biafra may not make sense to you but believe me; it is resetting the brain of our adversaries. |
