OREMUSSANCTUS: No apc mad thugs will praise jona for dis, buh if its a bad road or any bad tin, dey start to fly in in their numbers to celebrate evil. The difference between GEJ supporters and Buhari supporters is that while acknowledge the good things APC leaders have done, the APC gus find it hard to acknowledge the obvious even if it is on their faces. They find a way to call it evil. Too much of insincerity>>>> |

You need to know the difference between public servant and civil servant, independent and dependent bodies. I repeat, maurice iwu was removed in line with constitution and if you don't believe, do your research and stop arguing what you don't know. You didn't see the business day link I posted? Sahara reporters carried it as well. Sahara is your main source so I'm sure u will accept that. |

The asker knows that you know the answer very well but he wants you to impress your audience with it. One question though, why is that I could count the number of white skins in the audience? Was that supposed be a black people's event? This is a sincere question. |

I don't need a soothsayer to tell me the life of an average Nigerian will be better under an APC government because its hard for a State government anywhere in Nigeria to pull this through not with dwindling revenues and the austerity period prevailing in the country.
Kudos fashola, Lagos State indigenes and especially we Ikorodu sons and daughters will perpetually be grateful to you for the giant strides you recorded in our domain.
Hypocrisy is when you're shouting the refund is political yet you wish you or your younger ones were beneficiary of such a largesse.
When will GEJ refund the N1,000 immigration employment scam money Abba Moro collected?

cyril83: Gather your fact right and stop comparing independent body to dependent, a president of a country has no sole power to remove inec chairman but has every power to sack any of his ministers. Maurice iwu decision was made on the floor of senate not president order. Read and then lets talk onathan sacks Iwu WEDNESDAY, 28 APRIL 2010 20:09 HORATIUS EGUA User Rating: / 0 PoorBest
At last, Acting President Goodluck Jonathan sacked Maurice Iwu, the controversial chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Iwu has been directed to proceed on pre-disengagement leave immediately. The INEC boss whose tenure expires on June 13, 2010 has been been directed to hand over to the most senior national commissioner, who shall oversee the activities of the commission pending the appointment of a substantive chairman.
Ima Niboro, senior special assistant on media and publicity said in a statement last night that the sacking of Iwu is in accordance with Section 155(1) (c) of the disengagement procedure of INEC officials.
“The Acting President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has directed the Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Maurice Iwu, to proceed on pre- disengagement leave with immediate effect,” he said.
“The Acting President’s directive is in consonance with Section 155(1) (c), which stipulates that the Chairman and members of the Independent Electoral Commission shall hold office for a period of five years,” Niboro stated further
“The Acting President thanked the out going Chairman of INEC for his service to the nation and wished him success in his future endeavours,” he said in the statement.

cyril83: Duly process should be introduced not back door things. If he must leave, national assembly is there to decide. National assembly did not decide when Iwu was relieved of his position to make way for him. National assembly does not decide when a minister is sacked. Appointment of both go through the senate but sacking them does not have to go through the senate. The president is unfortunately too powerful. The national conference was meant to whittle down his power but the North rejected it. You have to live with it that is if this true. |

In 2007, I asked a Chinese student how she felt about the the so called prosperity in China which affected only a few and localised in Beijing.
Her response was, we like it that way. It will spread to everyone with time. It is better than it used to be and it has to start from somewhere. I kept quiet immediately.
Where is China today, just 8 years after?

They have forgotten how he built his presidential library with monies from his cronies who mostly were forced to donate(remember Adenugas revelation) They hav e forgotten easily how he almost extended his tenure to 3rd time They intentionally forgot about the thieve Atiku, Tinubu, Mbadinuju, etc of just less than 8 years ago that they embezzled the nation treasury when they were in govt.
