It is only configured to give access to a particular card's dedicated unit.
Take for instance the cards used in unlocking doors to hotel room. Is it appropriate for the card of room 101 to open room 105?

To the best of my understanding, this Prof made it cleared that one can only vote at one's polling unit. The register of that unit would have been uploaded on the card reader meant for that unit. If a replacement is to be made, it will still contain the register of the polling unit. And mind you, the card reader is just for accreditation purpose only. It is only when you have been duly accredited that you can now come back to vote.

I don't envy the position barcanista is in presently because it'll be undue distraction for me. Its possible to lose faith in a cause you believe so much in and that has consumed so much of your time and energy as you journey through life. 4. El Rufai, Buhari and Northern Elders Forum lobbied Hilary Clinton and thus Boko Haram was not added to list of terrorist organization, and so they could go on buying arms and getting moneys.
5. Buhari refused to join the negotiations as GEJ did with Niger Deltans while he was VP. Like Anenih too did. (TRUE NATIONAL HEROES GEJ AND ANENIH, NOT BUHARI WHO REFUSES TO HELP COS HE SUPPORTS THE SHARIA LAW THEY BOKO HARAM AIM TO ESTABLISH)
6. America bans Nigeria from getting arms and stops south Africa and co from selling to us.
7. Opposition, same El Rufai and Buhari etc begin to criticize GEJ for not killing Boko Haram.
8. Again, The Nigerian army is unable to get arms cos of Northern Elders, Buhari, El Rufai etc.
9. Goodluck brings in Dasuki, a Uthman Dan Fodio descendant and he tries to negotiate with them Boko Haram, believing since he is Muslim unlike Ihejirika and Azazi, they would listen, same foolish thinking people who want to put Buhari there, have. THOSE GUYS LISTEN TO NO ONE....ONLY THEIR VERSION OF Allah AND DEATH.
10. Dasuki and GEJ and the Nigerian army have looked to China and Russia and even Parkistan and they now have the arms.
11. They are killing Boko Haram.
12. The delay in ending Boko Haram is because of Buhari, El Rufai, Northern Emirs (The Emirs needed to ensure all alternatives were exhausted. Now they are on board with the kilings, especially as their own son Dasuki heads it)
13. The foolish now want to vote for the very Buhari and El Rufai that opposed the fight against Boko Haram....a fight Ihejirika would have ended BRUTALLY AND FINALLY.
Vote Goodluck if you value your country and peace of mind. Buhari, has only one thing in his head SHARIA AND HIS VERSION OF ISLAM. HE MINDS NOT THE BLOODSHED. Interestingly, Jonathan staked his decision on his promises to perform, specifically, on the power sector. He was on record for promising to go on exile if he failed to complete the second Niger Bridge before 2015. Is the bridge built? and what has happened to electricity generation, distribution & charges?
Buhari only vowed not to contest again because he was fed up with the system (he took it too personal). But, as you rightly pointed out, he was urged to jettison his personal comfort and enter the race to rescue Nigeria with his anti-corruption credentials, discipline and pragmatism.
Buhari never compromised on his standards, honour and integrity like GEJ and your new freind Barcanista.

Now, between GEJ & GMB, who is more credible here, and who should be taken more seriously?

In his search for fame in an anonymous forum, he became very vocal by registering his pressence on every thread the very moment he pledged loyalty to the APC, and was too lazy to make himself relevant offline.

Barcanista places too much expectation on his NL popularity, and his ideological instability are direct effects of frustrations resulting from unmet expectations.
This is what he should reveal to the TANkids that have defects in logic and reasoning.

The 0.03% is in respect to the total of card readers in their possession which is around 182,000 out of which about 500 is defective.

Concerning the battery, a fully charged battery of the card reader will last up to 14 hours of serious usage and the accreditation is just 5 hours. In the case of polling units with large number of voters above 500, voting points will be created by INEC to cater for that. If the card reader does not work, provision will be made for replacement and if with all efforts replacement cannot be made within the time frame of the election, then the election is postponed till the next day wherein a functional card reader will be brought in.

Most of the issues raised are very pertinent and I know before now that there's a grand conspiracy which isn't in the public domain against GEJ outside of the interest of the man on the street...
These conspiracy against a "bloody civilian"; GEJ is fostered and promoted by these retired but heartless generals. GEJ is aware of most of them but won't put it in the open due to several reasons including diplomacy, public safety, and unlimited resources and connections both local and international available to these "devils"...

This election is the last fight...If GEJ wins; a lot will change about the system... And most of these ex-force men won't find it easy gaining access to power again...
